Darling Buds Nursery

My boy absolutely loved darlings buds. The staff are so friendly, kind and polite. They cook home cooked meals daily and have excellent activities/ care for him throughout the whole day. I highly recommend

Darling Buds have been so supportive to me and my two sons who attend 3 days a week. The nursery team are very kind and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble and it feels like all the staff really care about all the children they look after. They have definitely built up a good rapport with my two sons.

I have now had 2 children go through Darling Buds and there has never been a day when either one of them has left without the biggest smile. Stories of learning and fun with friends and the staff. Myself being from England, my sons very quickly learnt more Welsh than me, along with the ability to count up to 50 by the time me eldest left the nursery. We get daily updates through the nursery app, but also the staff always give an update on how my child was in the day. Their diet and food is excellent in nursery, often leading me to want to know what the menu and recipes are, which is emailed out. I have never ever had concern or been anything other than in complete confidence that my children are safe, in a welcoming, educational, diverse and fun environment. I'm going to be sad when my youngest leaves.

We love Darling Buds! Our child has a great time and is happy and settled. The wrap around service has worked brilliantly. All of the staff are approachable and take great care of the children. We wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

The Darling Buds has been our secure port in the last 4 years and a half, including challenging times such as the second Covid lockdown. One of my two children was born with scoliosis and she has been wearing a brace since she was 18 months. This put an extra burden on the staff, who had to take it on and off multiple times a day to change her nappy. Everyone has always been kind and supportive to us, full-time parents with no family around, and this has a huge positive impact on our lives and on the life of our children. The child with scoliosis has been making progress also thanks to the help of the nursery. The food is extremely healthy and variegated. The service is flexible and the staff does its best to accommodate our needs. The wrap around allows us to work without any worry. The Darling Buds does not only provide childcare but has been making a real difference in the education of my children. The staff is always smiling and the communication has always been superb.

My two daughters attend the Darling Buds, they are always extremely helpful. My daughters love it, highly recommended. They have been there for few years, and we never had any issue with the Darling Buds.

All 3 of my children have attended Darling Buds, my eldest is almost 13 to my youngest child who is 2 and still attending. I cannot thank all the staff enough for all their hard work and dedication. Every staff member always go above and beyond to ensure the children learn and develop as well as making nursery a "home from home" feel. I truly believe darling buds have helped mould my children into the wonderful little human beings that they are today.

My youngest daughter started nursery and all of the staff have been nothing but amazing with her since she has been there. She has progressed immensely with her speech and has learnt so many new things to do herself. The staff make me feel so comfortable and my daughter is so happy there. My eldest daughter has also been here for 7 years and still loves going to after school club with her friends!

Our little one has been attending since September 2020. Due to Covid-19 she hadn’t spent much time around other people or children so was nervous at first. The staff were so welcoming and we have seen a massive difference in our daughter. She gets so excited when she knows she is going to nursery. She has moved from buttercups to violets and is thriving. The staff are always happy to answer any questions and are very caring towards our child. She comes home with diary entries that we love as it shows us what she has been doing that day. Plus, plenty of crafts come home too which is lovely. We are expecting our second child and will have no worries sending our second child here as our daughter is so happy there. Massive relief when you see them go in happy and come out happy.

My son has been attending since eight months old and is now four, he loves Darling Buds Nursery and the girls so much, he will cry if he can’t go. I know my son is in a safe, secure environment and the girls go above and beyond with all the children. My son has learnt so much since he started and I can’t imagine him going anywhere else. I highly recommend everyone to this nursery. What more do you want than friendly staff, home cooked meals, a safe and happy environment. I would give ten stars if I could.

My son started Darling Buds Nursery in September 2020 and from the first day, he happily walked in and came out with a huge smile on his face. He had attended a different nursery prior to this and wasn’t always eager to go and would rarely eat his lunch there. At Darling Buds Nursery he was always excited to go and ate all his lunch, which was a great relief knowing he hadn't gone hungry. The staff at Darling Buds Nursery are so welcoming, loving and caring towards the children and so friendly towards the parents. He has learnt lots whilst at the nursery too, he can count to ten in Welsh and knows his colours in Welsh too. Unfortunately, now that my son has turned three, he has had to leave Darling Buds Nursery this month and go to the local school nursery and he was quite upset. He misses Darling Buds Nursery and his friends lots and asks regularly when he can go back.

Both of my boys have been attending Darling Buds Nursery ever since 2016. They both absolutely love it! The staff are providing fantastic care and the management is absolutely brilliant. Having used a different nursery in the past, I can definitely say that Darling Buds Nursery are second to none!

My son joined Darling Buds Nursery in February 2021. He has been enjoying every minute. The staff are professional and kind. Feedback about activities and food is given every day. I can’t thank Darling Buds Nursery enough.

My son is eighteen months old and my daughter is five and a half years old and both are in the nursery. Staff are very friendly, helpful and caring, they all look after my kids very well. Whenever I needed any help they were there for me and for my kids. I am very happy I got space for my kids in Darling Buds Nursery, I can only say good about them. Well done ladies.

My three children have currently started at the nursery. I was extremely dubious at first. I am a qualified nursery nurse and worked in many nurseries, so I’ve had my fair share of experiences first hand. From the moment the door opened my children were welcomed straight away. My two-year-old doesn’t do well with change but the moment her bottom lip went the staff took control in a settling, happy and nurturing way. Because of the coronavirus I haven’t actually been inside the nursery myself, however from what the children have told me, they are beyond happy and excited being there. As a result of covid. I wrote each room and networker/s a letter explaining the ins and out of each child. They were extremely grateful and have supported my every wish. The owner herself picks up and drops off my children, my children have developed a strong connection with her and are so excited in the mornings they eagerly wait at the door and call her name! Highly recommended.

The food always smells delicious and the rooms of cleaning at the end of the day, which is brilliant! It feels like such a homely environment, would not hesitate to recommend.

If you are going to leave your child with other people to look after them you know you want them to treat them with the care and compassion that you would. I felt Darling Buds did exactly that. I have recommended them to anybody that will listen. Friendly, flexible, engaging, educational, caring. Most importantly, my daughter loves attending. Outstanding!!

My daughter loves going here. She has such a great relationship with the ladies in her room, and she always has a smile on her face when she sees them. Her face lights up when we stand outside the doors to go in. I can't ask for any more than that.

My son started Darling Buds in August of last year and immediately fitted it. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at ease with the decision we had made to change him from the daycare he previously had attended. He is always happy when we drop him off/pick him up and always tells us of his busy day. His key worker, along with many other members of staff, are always happy to fill us in on what the children have been doing, what they have eaten and any other details we may like to know. We are so happy that we made the decision for our son to attend here.

Our little boy has been going to Darling Buds since he just turned one and has always loved it. All the staff are so friendly, welcoming and caring and the management is very accommodating to our needs. We can’t thank them enough. We would definitely recommend Darling Buds as a lovely nursery to go to.
