It really is a home-from-home setting!
Overall, a great nursery, which I would recommend.
The food choices have always been fantastic, and the activities they do have been great.
This is a great nursery, the staff are amazing, so kind and caring. I feel at ease leaving him, knowing he's safe, happy, and well looked after. My little boy loves going too, which is a bonus. All smiling, and loves the activities and photos he takes part in. Brings a smile to our faces every week.
Staff are super friendly and make our child’s nursery experience enjoyable. Have seen a growth in confidence in our child since attending nursery. Very good range of food/ lunches and snacks. Good range of activities and crafts, and the children look like they have a great time throughout the day and can’t thank the ladies enough.
My little girl has been coming to Brambles since she was 9 months old and she's now 3. Although she only attends a few days a week she loves going! The staff in each room have all been amazing with her and have helped her to develop into such a confident little girl. We all love the variety of activities that are on offer throughout the day and to have hot meals provided is also amazing. Would recommend Brambles!
My son has been going since 8 months old, he's now nearly 3. If when we've had a minor issue or anything, it's always been resolved straight away. Overall we've had an amazing experience with the Nursery and my son has come on leaps and bounds since being there.
He loves going, sometimes doesn’t even want to come home! They are always either doing crafts or outside (which my little one loves). The food is cooked from scratch with a different menu each day.
I would highly recommend Brambles, I don’t live near there, just work nearby but I keep my toddler there as the staff are so lovely. I will be sending my other son when I return to work from maternity leave again.
The only thing I would suggest, as an improvement, is a report of some sort every term to see how they are developing, interacting in a group, managing with their learning etc. I know they would get this in the pre-school but even as a toddler, I would like to know for my own peace of mind.

I instantly liked the environment when I went to view S4YC @ Brambles Children's Day Nursery. It was clear they care about the children and their development.
My son started at Brambles in September 2023 when he was 8 months old for one day a week - he settled in super quick and I believe that was down to the staff in the baby room (although all the staff make a fuss of him when I drop him off which is lovely).
I decided to put him in an extra day a week from February this year because he enjoys going so much and the staff do lovely activities with the children and treat him with such care and compassion. They have always been flexible when I’ve changed his schedule.
I also feel so comfortable when I drop him off or pick him up and the staff are so friendly and accommodating.
Brambles Day Nursery really is a community and I can’t wait to see what else my son gets up to over the years.
My baby girl has been coming to this nursery since she was 9 months old, my baby girl is now 2 and a half she feels so secure with the amazing staff, she runs in every time, her favourite lady, she runs up to her or goes straight to her when she is in it makes me so happy that my baby is secure with these amazing staff, they are so caring and do everything they can for my baby and all the children that attend and the staff deserve a lot of praise. I love they get fresh food every day and do so many activities with the children, she has come on so much since being here and her speech is amazing, she also comes home singing in Welsh which is amazing, they have helped develop my baby so much and would highly recommend this nursery. Like I said staff can't do enough and the staff are always smiling which is great.

Meet the Team (14)
I have been working with children since 2001 & I started to work at The Brambles in 2024. I have a Level 5 Diploma in Childcare.
I have twin daughters & a son and in my spare time I enjoy shopping & going to theatre shows & concerts.
I have worked at the Brambles since 2016, becoming Preschool room leader in 2017, Deputy Supervisor in 2021 & Deputy Manager in 2024. I have a BA (Hons) in Primary Education and a Level 5 Diploma in Childcare, Learning & Development. I am also the ALNco at the Brambles. I enjoy working in the Preschool room alongside Lauren, preparing the children for starting school!
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family & friends, going to the cinema, reading & baking. I also love taking my cockapoo Ted for walks!
I have worked in the Brambles since 2002 and I am the Infant room leader as well as the nursery supervisor! I have a Level 5 Diploma in Childcare, Learning & Development & I've recently taken part in a number of ALN courses.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching the soaps & looking for bargains in the local charity shops. I also love spending quality time with my partner Ainsley & our little boy William!
I have worked at The Brambles for over 20 years & I am currently the Baby Room leader. I have a Level 5 Diploma in Childcare, Learning and Development & I am also the Health & Safety lead.
When I'm not in nursery I love to play football and socialise with my friends & family including my husband Richard & our three young children!

I have always had a passion for working with children and exploring their development. My childcare journey started in 2012, taking me to different experiences in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. I now have two children of my own. From 2017 until starting at the Brambles in 2024 I worked in S4YC's Blacon setting.
In my spare time, I like watching sports and movies.
I have worked at the Brambles since 2021, before that I was a student here! I am currently working towards my Level 3 diploma in Childcare and will be qualified in April.
When I'm not in work I enjoy socialising with my friends and going on family days out with my partner Jac & our little boy Oscar!
I have worked in the Brambles since 2021 & I'm currently working towards my Level 3 NVQ in Childcare Learning & Development. I work in the Flying Start room and enjoy watching the children grow & develop! I have a Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care.
When I'm not in work I like to spend time with my friends & my boyfriend Tyler as well as reading & going to the gym.
