My son has been going to The Wendy House since he was 9 months old, I knew I was going to use this nursery again after my daughter also went there and I've absolutely loved sending them, it is the best nursery around. My son skips in every day with huge smiles, I don't even get a kiss or a hug sometimes as he's that excited to get in! The care is extremely good, I feel incredibly safe leaving him there and I know he'll have a great day every day. They don't just look after your child, they nurture them, teach them new skills through play and books, grow veg, and butterflies, learn all about them then release them into the sky. There's so much more that The Wendy House does. All the nursery assistants are amazing too, I highly recommend this nursery, I'll be very sad when my son leaves in September to go to big school but I'm very grateful for all they've done for him.

Wonderful staff, this is the second nursery my daughter has been to and she absolutely loves it. She’s happy and smiling going in and tells me all about her day when we get home. The owner and the team are phenomenal.

My son has been at the Wendy House for 4 years and I couldn’t wish for him to go to a better nursery. The girls who work there are amazing and my son speaks very fondly of them. They do fun things with the kids, such as having parties to celebrate special dates and visits from Santa each Christmas! I know that my son is very well cared for by the staff and he’s made strong friendships with the other children who he will be moving up to primary school with. The Wendy House has helped me out a lot doing the school runs to and from primary school. They are a 10/10 nursery and I can’t fault the girls who’ve cared for my son from baby room through to red group. Thank you Wendy House!

My son (18 months) has been attending the nursery for 6 months now. I am a very overprotective parent (even more so in the current climate) and from our first meeting, the manager helped to put me at ease, the settling in process was really easy and my son settled very quickly, a massive thank you to the member of staff who was always at the end of the phone with a reassuring voice when I rang for a quick check-in. On numerous occasions, I picked my son up with a slight smell of perfume on him. I loved the fact that the staff members were cuddling my son as I would at home. My son has recently been moved up to the toddler room and the staff have listened to all of my concerns with him moving rooms, I love the weekly pictures and the daily book. A brilliant nursery and I really wish I had found it quicker for my eldest son to have enjoyed the same facilities when he was a baby.

If you want your child to be cared and loved in the way you do yourself, then this is the nursery for you. Communication is excellent. The facilities promote learning and play. The food is made on site and is tasty (my daughter says so) and nutritionally balanced. You can see the staff really love and care for every child and they are all so friendly.

Couldn't be happier with this nursery. My daughter has been attending for 2-years and loves it. Even on a weekend, she wants to go to in! They plan so many fun learning activities such as crafts, painting, dress-up play, visiting the chickens, turning caterpillars to butterflies, both in and outdoor play. The managers have been excellent, especially in managing the pandemic, and kept us updated as to how they are keeping the children and staff safe, e.g. group bubbling, temp-checks, foot-operated sanitiser by the door, staff use of face masks in communal areas, and also for parents during pick-up/drop off, fogging machine to sanitise the rooms and furnishings, introducing staff lateral flow tests weekly... so many things. They have a lovely team of staff that care very well for the children. The menu is varied and healthy. My daughter has been through the Baby, Toddler, Blue and Red Rooms, and the staff in each one have been great. Photos each week of all the fun! I really couldn't ask for much more.

It really is a great nursery, and I will be sad when its time for my son to leave for full-time school.

Excellent response to constantly changing guidelines during the pandemic and regular communication about this with families. High-quality care provided with a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. Nutritious and varied menu.

My 2-year-old has been attending The Wendy House for just over four months, and I am so glad we made the decision to send him here. The nursery is the perfect location and a great environment, which is well organised for the children and has everything they need. I cannot fault the staff; they are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond to make sure the children and parents feel at home. The nursery is kept extremely clean and to a high standard which is especially important at the moment and makes me feel safe sending my child here. Honestly could not recommend this nursery enough.

My little girl as been going to this nursery for a few months. She’s developing amazing confidence and adores the nursery nurses and looks forward to going. I would recommend to new Mums looking for childcare for their children.

The staff make you feel at ease and answer any questions you have. There is a great variety of healthy food choices, and a daily diary, so you can see what they’ve been up to. Overall, fantastic, thank you!

I can not speak highly enough of The Wendy House Nursery; the owner runs a tight ship, and the children always come first. Her staff are amazing, and I have not had any worries over the past three years that my little girl has been attending. I love the fact the children have a lot of outside play, (being a countryside nursery), and my daughter's development has been nurtured by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. An amazing start for any child.

All in all, it's a wonderful nursery to send your children 5*!

The room leaders and staff are brilliant and always go the extra mile. Knowing my daughter is happy going in the mornings and coming home, she's made friends and an overall excellent environment.

The Wendy House took my little boy on during the pandemic. My little one has been attending twice a week since he was 6-months-old. The things he has been taught since going is sceptical! His key workers are the loveliest girls ever, and it makes his day when he gets to see them! His book is always filled in so I know what he has done throughout the morning. The food which he receives through the day is amazing and he never leaves hungry! His key workers always give him back in clean clothes and always a clean nappy. I could not recommend this nursery enough - baby room!

The Wendy house goes above and beyond in organising visits and trips to help broaden the experiences of the children, from making their own pizzas as a local restaurant, having an exotic zoo come to visit, to starring in their own movie. All the food served is wholesome cooked food, with nutrition for the children being at the forefront of a well balanced and diverse menu. Over the years having The Wendy House look after the little one I have seen the investment The Wendy House has made into making the facilities even more fantastic for the children. The Wendy House is full of fun, learning, creativity and support. The little one has a treasure trove of wonderful memories that have made her childhood so far an even brighter one.

Excellent environment and well organised for the children, staff are great and really welcoming. The nursery is kept clean and to a high standard which is a big tick from myself. Since 2015 both our boys have attended The Wendy House and enjoyed it so much. A fantastic stepping stone for the little ones to start learning, make their own little friends and have fun playing. Staff are wonderful too. So patient and caring. Our youngest will be moving on to school soon and we'll miss The Wendy House. Fabulous place.

She has made lots of friends and moved up the rooms with the same children. She comes home with some lovely tales from the day. Staff are very accommodating and the nursery is very clean and tidy. Food choices are excellent and varied.
