The best; loving, caring nursery for miles. Absolutely fantastic care and staff in all rooms. I have 3 children and will be starting my 3rd in toddlers soon and my other two sons love their time there. They always come out so happy and the staff take all my worries away. There aren't words to describe how fantastic each and every staff member is including the chef who prepares the most delicious meals! Wouldn't want anyone else looking after my little ones. Everyone goes above and beyond for your children and I would be lost without them.

I would highly recommend The Wendy House Day Nursery, the manager and all the staff are so friendly and have helped my daughter settle in really well in the toddler room. It's so lovely seeing her going in with a smile and being happy.

The menu is also fantastic.

The menu provided is great and provides a good variety of foods. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and keep you informed about what the children have been doing that day/week. I can’t fault the nursery at all and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great range of indoor and outdoor activities. The classroom staff are all friendly and build lovely relationships with the children.

I have 2 children at The Wendy House Day Nursery. My son started here during lockdown. The kindness and warmth, thoroughness and transparency of the staff and their approach completely put me at ease leaving my son there. After having my daughter and needing to go back to work I had no reservations sending her here too! Not only had my daughter settled amazingly, she is genuinely excited and beams at being collected at the door during drop off to go into the baby room! The app they use means keeping in touch and having updates is really easy. The staff are really honest with updates on the children. I love seeing them having a great time when I go to collect them from their respective rooms.

The best nursery around the Flintshire area! My two children attend The Wendy House. They look forward to the days that they go. My little boy used to get upset leaving me at the front door but the staff would always update me and send pictures to reassure me that he was happy and settled once he was in his room. He now walks off and waves goodbye with no issues due to the girls making an amazing bond with him. He adores them all. You can see the staff and management's genuine care that they have for all of the children. I love seeing all of the activities that both my children do when they are there through the app which I love. Sometimes my daughter doesn’t want to leave but that just makes me more happy in a way to know that she’s having the best time. I would recommend The Wendy House to anyone and will be very sad to leave when the children attend school! Thank you Wendy House for everything you are doing to help my children learn and grow.

The team have always gone above and beyond to accommodate us in terms of Covid anxieties and their communication is great. I leave my little girl in their care without any worries for the full day and know she’s safe, well looked after and having a fabulous time with her friends and the staff who really do care about your child.

I have two children attending The Wendy House at the moment and are settled and happy there. My 3-year-old can have separation anxiety and struggle to leave me in the mornings however the staff at The Wendy House are extremely attentive to her and are 10/10 and so supportive. Will be sad to see my children move on as they get older.

The staff at The Wendy House really are second to none! My youngest is currently in the baby room and has some additional medical needs which all the girls have become really knowledgeable about and are very supportive of his ongoing treatment. Staff also get to know each child's personality and little quirks so well and talk about them with such fondness that they almost feel like family! Even staff in other rooms know your child and say hello, it's really heartwarming! My eldest moved onto school last September and has thoroughly enjoyed going back to Holiday Club and seeing his favourite 'teachers' from Red Group! The food and daily activities are great and I particularly love how much outdoor play they get even in inclement weather. One slight negative is that I find the billing difficult to follow and would prefer a simpler, more transparent invoicing system, although I'm sure this isn't helped by the complicated funding system that is currently in place!

As a covid baby, our daughter found going to nursery really difficult. The staff were great with her and were very patient giving her lots of cuddles. She now absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are very friendly and show genuine care and affection to the children. Our daughter has made lots of new friends at nursery and has become a very confident little girl.

I find everything at The Wendy House holds so many activities and learning facilities for children of this day in age, they participate and get involved with day-to-day events like world book day, St David’s day, pancake day, etc. I find the environment is established for the age range and the staff are always on hand for support and emotional well-being. I cannot express how much The Wendy House has helped and supported not only my own child but others too.

My son (one) has been at The Wendy House for two months now and is so far, loving every second of it. He really seems to like being handed over to his key worker and he comes home a very happy kind of tired every day. We've really noticed a change in his personality and skills in a short space of time which we owe to the kind, caring and creative staff. He loves the food he is having which is home-cooked and full of variety. We get a full report of his daily activities every day and we love that they take him outdoors to see the sheep and horses etc. So far we couldn't fault the place.

We have our 2 children in The Wendy House. They have been attending for 1 year. Our eldest spent a whole year at home during lockdown and our youngest was born during that period. The transition to nursery followed unprecedented times and it was done with care, understanding and consideration for both children and parents. Both settled really well which is exceptional in the context! The staff are very caring and know the children and their personalities really well. Our children talk about the staff and it is clear there is a really good bond. They are excited to go in the morning! There is an app so you get lots of pictures and that shows a huge range of activities. I've found it positive to speak to the owner and the manager with experience of many, many years of working with children. As a parent, each stage is a 'first' so that has been helpful on occasion. We've all had a very positive, happy nursery experience so far.

Consistent and progressive provision for my daughter. A caring and nurturing environment. Outstanding care is delivered daily. Communication is also very good, parents are updated regularly on a range of information.

Lovely, caring, friendly staff, high standard of cleanliness, efficiently run, very good communication, healthy freshly cooked meals every day. (Our son talks about the tasty food cooked by the chef, every time we pick him up). They always have varied activities and practical play experiences. Our son attended from the age of two and a half and had his last day last week at the age of nearly four and a half. He has loved every day spent at The Wendy House. He has always spoken fondly of all the team that have cared for him and played with him. He will hopefully be returning to the High 5 club in the school holidays, so he can keep in touch with the friends he has made. I honestly could not find anything negative to say about the quality of care that the team at the Wendy House provide. Professionally operated by a caring team.

My son has attended since he was 9 months old and has been very happy, always willing to go and with big smiles coming home. There is lots of outside playing and the childcare is excellent. He has become a confident and independent little boy, since attending The Wendy House.

My daughter has attended the nursery for 2 years. Staff have always been friendly and approachable. My daughter has enjoyed going every day and I have felt confident in leaving my daughter in their care. I am actually sad that she is leaving now. The parents' app that the nursery use is brilliant for sharing photos and what they have done that week, it is handy to check and see what they are going to have for their meals and it makes communication with the staff in the room and the manager easy. I have recommended this nursery to numerous other mums.

My daughter has attended The Wendy House for 3 years and 4 months. It really is a brilliant nursery. During the pandemic, sensible decisions were made that were not over the top. The staff are absolutely amazing and are a credit to the nursery. My daughter has grown up to be a happy and confident girl with lots of friends and a great imagination - a big part of that is down to the nursery. I'm going to be extremely sad when she leaves for school in a few weeks. I wish she could stay there forever!
