Clever Clogs Day Nursery (Bowburn)

The nursery is truly amazing. My daughter started in September and absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing and friendly, full of smiles and obvious they care about what they do. The communication between the nursery and parents are amazing and they don't hesitate to contact when necessary. My daughter has grown more confidence walking recently but still getting to grips with it so has fallen as all children do at some point and they always made sure to call to give us an update as well as putting it on the app but they never want you to worry so take that extra time to make sure you know. They have stay and plays where parents can bring and see their children in the setting. Truly a lovely experience. They provide meals that my daughter enjoys. I cannot get her to eat some foods for the life of me but she seems to thoroughly enjoy them. Overall amazing experience and she has come on leaps and bounds since starting. Cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work.

Staff are friendly and professional and I have no hesitance leaving my children in their safe care.

I couldn't rate Clever Cloggs highly enough. My son has been attending since he was 4 months old and throughout every stage, the staff have been fantastic. I was extremely worried sending him in from such a young age but I had nothing to worry about! He is now 2 and a half and thriving. The girls have been extremely caring throughout every room and have always been there to help with any concerns I have too. I'm kept updated frequently through the app and they undertake a wide variety of activities which he loves. I'd recommend Clever Cloggs to anyone looking for a nursery in the area.

My daughter has been at Clever Cloggs since she was 11 months old. The nursery have been excellent and extremely supportive of helping her settle and feel happy and safe there. The staff are so caring and personal and really take the time to get to know the children. My child now enjoys nursery and comes home wanting to "play nurseries"! I credit the nursery to how well her speech and learning has developed over this last 18 months, she's come on in leaps and bounds! I would highly recommend Clever Cloggs to anybody and I will be very sad when my child leaves this summer. Thank you!

Excellent experience staff are always friendly and happy to help. Out little girl gets very excited about going to nursery and always has plenty of things to show and tell us when we pick her up at the end of the day.

If I could give ten stars I would. I had very high expectations when I sent my little one to this nursery at 9 months old. This was due to working in an Educational provision myself and I have to say everyone at Clever Cloggs have consistently exceeded what I was expecting. They have gone above and beyond with their care, consideration and professionalism for the past nearly two years. If you need to have some extra time/days the office are so accommodating, helpful and quick at responding. All the staff have developed very caring relationships with him and he really adores being with them. I don't worry in the slightest when I am at work that he is in the best place. He cannot wait to come to nursery, to go play outside, to see the staff and his little friends in a safe, kind, and supportive learning environment. A wonderful place for learning, fun, creativity, kindness and as a parent you could not ask for more. Outstanding from Ofsted but also from my toddler and my family.

It is always a warm welcome when you enter the nursery, the staff always greet my son with a smile. Developmentally and socially he has progressed exceeding our expectations. The staff are fully aware what he has done in the day and how he is progressing. My son runs in on a morning and leaves with a smile on his face i couldn't ask for more! The staff are always professional and I feel at great ease leaving my son with the staff as i know they will provide comfort and reassurance if needed in the day. The best thing we did was change nurseries to Clever Clogs!

Our daughter has been going to Clever Clogs Day Nursery since she was 11 months old and she absolutely loves going. The nursery has a lovely, homely atmosphere and the staff are all friendly and helpful, which made going back to work and leaving her, a lot easier. Our daughter is pescatarian and had a suspected nut allergy - processes were followed, and a variety of healthy meals that she enjoys are provided. Nothing is ever too much trouble and staff form lovely relationships with the children. Our daughter settled quickly, despite only attending for one day a week initially. Clever Clogs is not our local nursery but it came highly recommended and we are so happy that we chose here.

Excellent- all three of my children have been looked after by the loving and caring staff at Clever Clogs Day Nursery. They have all loved attending and taken part in a range of activities each day. Staff are great at communication! I'm so happy to have such an amazing nursery close to me. There is a lot of continuity of staff too- over a 10 year period, there are some staff who have cared for all three of mine.

Very happy with the service the nursery provides my child. All staff are helpful, friendly and always happy to help. My child has not once complained about going to nursery and is always happy when leaving. Highly recommend.

The app is also great if I'm feeling anxious I can check in and see details of his day which always gives me reassurance. I genuinely feel like Clever Cloggs has been a fundamental part of my son's growth. Helping him with developing skills and learning to get him ready for school and also as a mother made me feel comfortable about each new step. Genuinely cannot recommend them enough.

We had a great experience with our girls at Clever Clogs Bowburn. All staff are very kind and careful. Every time we found someone to help us when we needed. Our girls are happy and grateful and that's all that matters!

Clever Clogs is a fantastic nursery. My children started here when they were 5 months old and the staff have been amazing: they are so caring and friendly and my boys smile as soon as they see them. They're so well cared for and the communication between nursery and home is excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better nursery experience for my children and I'm so glad I chose Clever Clogs.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. My son loves going to nursery. In the time that he has been at this nursery, he has come on loads. We will be sad when it comes to July when he leaves to start school in September.

The staff are very kind and caring. They also seem very knowledgable, especially when it comes to preparing kids to start school. Lots of activities for the kids, lots of outside time, food seems to be very good (although obviously haven't tried). We're glad our child is there.

Our children love Clever Clogs Nursery and look forward to going to nursery. Activities are varied, staff are kind and enthusiastic. The staff take note of the children’s interests and often tailor the activities to include their interests. I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

My children both love to attend Clever Clogs. The staff are so fun and kind and create a great learning environment for my children. Both of my children have attended since they were babies and we are continuing with before and after-school care. I would highly recommend this nursery to working parents!

My daughter first came here to Clever Clogs Bowburn a year ago after her previous nursery closed down. All the staff have made the transition so simple by being welcoming, caring and professional. They have made an effort to get to know the whole family and communicate the day's activities in person as well as on their digital learning platform. The children are provided with a wide range of activities throughout the day to keep them entertained and stimulated. My daughter particularly enjoys talking about the crafting projects that we get to bring home. She has also made friends that we know will help ease her transition into school.

Clever Clogs is great! Our previous nursery closed suddenly in February 2023. We had no choice but to move our little one. We went to Clever Clogs with a little apprehension, but it turned out to be a fantastic move! Our little one learns much more here than in her previous nursery. Learning here is very hands-on: moths, lambs, owls, caterpillars, you name them! They take the little ones outside very often (every day) and they love playing outside. Food is good. The staff is great!

Staff/management have always been so friendly and welcoming. Very grateful to the Clever Clogs team and nursery!
