Busy Bees Sunderland, Doxford

My daughter has been in Busy Bees Sunderland, Doxford since 2020. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough for your little one. The staff are so caring and invested in your child, they know everything about her and I never feel anything is a chore! She has learned so much, we get lots of photos and updates about her day and informed, honestly, if there are any issues. From the fantastic manager, wonderful nursery nurses to the fabulous chef, they are all amazing!

Our 19-month-old son has been at Busy Bees now for four months and he is thriving. Staff were patient and reassuring as he settled in - and now he happily walks in and out of nursery every session, excited to see his key workers. His language and confidence have developed a lot since starting and we love seeing what he learns at nursery play out at home. So happy we decided to enrol him when we did.

All staff are fantastic, really friendly and are great with our son. The nursery experience has really brought on and developed our son's social skills and language. The policies around bank holidays needs reviewing. We also love the app to see updates during the day.

This was the only nursery which we visited and knew straight away from the atmosphere, cleanliness and facilities available that this was where we wanted to place our children. The communication with the nursery through the Parentzone App is great and very reassuring. We are happy with the meals and activities provided.

Busy Bees at Sunderland, Doxford is amazing. ALL of the staff are incredibly friendly and go the extra mile for both of my children. They invest time in getting to know their likes/dislikes and involve their interests in most aspects of their day. One of the staff even made a dinosaur with one of the boys, which he got to bring home. I'm so impressed with the way they have settled both boys in, they love nursery now - I'm dreading the day they'll have to leave. You can tell the staff build true bonds with the children, it's lovely to see and makes me feel reassured they're in good hands. Keep it up!

All girls are lovely and friendly. I always get a warm welcome when I drop my son off or pick him up. The facilities are great, all clean, couldn't fault them.

Food is good.

I love this nursery, my child is always happy on arrival and happy when I collect him. The staff are very friendly and approachable and there are always lots of exciting toys and things to do in my child's room. The nursery itself is very child-friendly, no stairs to worry about and is always clean and tidy. I always boast about how good this nursery is. I couldn't ask them for any more.

Busy Bees Doxford is an amazing nursery and the staff there have taken such good care of my little girl since she was ten months old. They have such a caring and supportive approach to learning that has helped my little girl so much in her development, we are so pleased with the progress she has made from attending this nursery. The staff are so lovely and helpful, they have taken care of all of my little girl's needs. Due to her disability, she has additional needs and the nursery staff have supported each and every one of them. They are a fantastic team of staff and as my little girl is starting school, it will be sad for us to leave after more than three years of such fantastic care.

My Son has attended the nursery for 2 1/2 years now. The progress that the nursery has helped him make is amazing, all of the staff have always been fantastic to him and he has grown very attached to all of the staff throughout the rooms. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone thinking of checking it out.

I regularly pick up my nephew from the nursery, on my first visit the nursery we’re expecting me collecting him, they made sure I knew the correct passwords and I was who I said I was from the information my sister had provided when he joined, I was then shown to the room and made sure I knew where to go. Ever since this visit I have quickly become known with the staff who have always been warm and welcoming

I particularly like the feedback I have been given each time as wel,l if only I had known how amazing this nursery was when my kids were little.

My daughter has been at this nursery from 9 months following very successful trial days in the baby room. She has always settled with the staff in every room and stage as they are very caring and build strong bonds ensuring its like home from home for my child.

In terms of her development, she has come on leaps and bounds and following her 2-year check with the health visitor she is exceeding expectations in her activities and I thank the staff at Busy Bees at Sunderland, Doxford for this.

I couldn't ask for a better nursery for my son to attend. When he first started he had a great transition from his old nursery to Busy Bees, he was given such a warm welcome with really helpful introduction periods to get used to his new routine. The staff are excellent and I feel 100% confident when I drop him off every day. They have fantastic facilities, fun-filled and educational days, such a wide variety of activities indoor and out and an amazing choice of meals and snacks.

Every day when I collect my son, I am given information on exactly what he's had to eat and how much and what activities he has done throughout the day. I'm always kept up to date with letters home and what's going on which helps a lot when working full time. I couldn't recommend enough

As a teacher myself and a mother of 3, I have experience of a lot of educational settings and found it hard not to scrutinise when looking for a nursery placement for my youngest daughter. From the moment I walked through the door here, I knew this is where I wanted her to go. The setting is beautiful and I was particularly impressed with the outdoor space. The staff are so personable and support me with every need I have for my daughter (and sometimes my own, haha).

It’s so easy to drop her off on a morning with only a change of clothes (when I remember) and know that all her other needs are met.

I haven’t had a single complaint- apart from the fact she calls her key worker ‘mama’ and not me... but we’ll let that slide.

My child has been in Busy Bees since she was 9 months old and is nearly 2 years 6 months. Her progression and ability have increased greatly since joining this nursery. All staff smile and they are all so friendly and warm towards myself and my daughter, which, as a parent, makes me feel relaxed when leaving her for the day at nursery. Busy Bees are always actively involving all the children in a range of fun activities during the day and they do a great deal for a number of charities which is great. I have nothing but praise for the staff and the nursery and I would recommend them to anyone. Leaving your child is a worrying time for all parents at first but Busy Bees at Sunderland, Doxford Park will welcome your child with open arms and ensure they get the best care.

My son's been going here since September and he absolutely loves it! He never used to want to come home and he asks every day if he can go to nursery. All staff are fab and very helpful. They've been supporting my son's potty training and he's doing so well. He has so much fun and he learns more every time he goes.

My little girl started Busy Bees in September and was very apprehensive when she first attended, however, has gained so much confidence now and happily goes to nursery without complaint.

Overall Busy Bees is an excellent nursery and I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic Nursery my little boy has been going for a year since he was 1 and has thrived, all of the staff are really friendly and welcoming. My son has a great time and it has been fantastic for his development. Every class has different development tools & really push him to discover new things. The meals he gets each day are to a really high standard it's great knowing he's having really good fresh nutritious food each day.

My daughter has been in the nursery since march 2015 and is thriving. A family environment where the staff are fantastic and the environment is very caring. The personal touch at the nursery is great.
