The Cedars Nursery - Sunderland

I can't say enough good things about the nursery. The staff make it the amazing place it is. My son has come on so well since starting, his speech/walking etc has shown vast improvement and growth. I am over the moon.

All the staff are friendly, my son has come on a lot since attending nursery. He has learnt so much and his speech has come on loads. My son has been at nursery since July 2014 until November 2016. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone as I think the nursery is homely. Staff are excellent with the kids which is a bonus.

I am very happy with the facilities and the varied activities the nursery offers. My daughter is very happy here and I have recommended it to others. My only negative comment which is very minor is that the daily report can be very generic. While I appreciate why this may be, it seems as though the nap times are not relevant to my child and the information of what and how much has been eaten is not always completed or detailed.

My child has been in/out of hospital and the flexibility and understanding of the nursery has been fantastic. My child's key worker has provided continuous feedback that I can pass on to consultants, either verbally or in writing. Every day since starting The Cedars my child has been confident, happy and it's always a good sign when she waves goodbye with a smile when dropping her off. Brilliant nursery from the beginning.

My little boy started Cedars Nursery as a shy quiet 8 month old baby, and is now leaving to start reception as a confident cleaver 4 year old. Cedars Nursery have taught him so much that I couldn't possibly have taught him at home. My little boy loves the girls (nursery nurses) and has enjoyed every minute since coming here. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery to my friends and family and I will use this nursery if we have any more children.

My son loves going to The Cedars, he gets on very well with all the staff who are very lovely and well liked. He enjoys the singing and learning new songs and the meals, they get are varied and healthly. He gets plenty of outdoor time in the garden which was a big reason for choosing Cedars. Overall a very lovely nursery which will be a big miss when he leaves.

Since our son has joined the nursery, we have had nothing but outstanding care and professionalism from all of the staff there. They made us feel very secure and safe in the knowledge that he is receiving the best care and education. They inform us everyday what he has been doing and provide excellent feedback. The nursery is very well maintained and the staff cannot do enough for us. we are delighted we chose this nursery and would highly recommend it to anyone! A fantastic place to start education.

My son has attended the Cedars for the last 2 and a half years. During that time, I have nothing but praise for the staff and management team. The girls are all friendly and supportive, know my son well and always have individual feedback about his day.

Events are well organised and the management are informative and professional.

Facilities are brilliant, they have a wonderful garden area and the building is bright and decorated.

Hours are flexible, and they are always happy to accommodate to individual children with regards to medications, allergies, parental requests.

I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

My little girl has been attending Cedars for just under 1 year I feel extremely comfortable leaving grace with the staff they are friendly and professional grace loves spending time there and it has turned my shy toddler into a very outgoing little girl.
