Kids Planet Kenton Park takes pride in an environment that works to cherish and nurture the early years development of each child, with a reputation for friendliness and hospitality among parents and families of the local community.

The nursery's environment is tailored to suit the goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage, with qualified staff looking to support each child to develop through the age ranges in their own way. A healthy eating policy also contributes to health, while the nursery also makes excellent use of its garden for free play, which includes a playhouse and small pond.

My child has been at this nursery since the age of 2-years. He is very well cared for by the team who genuinely care about the children they look after. He does a wide variety of activities and enjoys his time at nursery. The Covid-19 restrictions have been adhered to and communication around this has
been very regular and clear. I would prefer to see their app updated more regularly but I understand it's a busy time for the staff at the minute. Overall, I am very happy with Kenton Park Nursery School and I am pleased that we chose them.

Greetings to all the kindergarten teachers, I am very happy that my daughter is going to this kindergarten. I personally suggested to my friends that this place is good and clean and their staff teaches the children daily skills with love and skill, especially the kindergarten director. Thank you all.

Kenton Park Nursery School is a lovely, caring nursery. It has a real family feel to it and my daughter is absolutely thriving there. The nursery staff and management were so supportive when my daughter started in September when I returned to work after maternity leave. Having been born in lockdown
I wasn't sure how she'd find being with lots of other children but she absolutely loves her nursery days and it made my return to work feel much easier knowing she is so happy and cared for. The staff really take the time to get to know the children and are always happy to make the time to talk to parents at the start and end of the day. I love the updates I get from the online journal app. I really can't rate Kenton Park highly enough, it's a wonderful nursery and I'm really happy my little girl has a place there.

Both myself and my daughter love this nursery and would highly recommend it to anyone. All of the staff are lovely, the manager is fantastic who is always on the ball and is extremely helpful.
The staff know all of the children well and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. I will be gutted when my

Kenton Park is a fantastic nursery that we have used for all 3 children over a period of 6 years. The amazing care they have shown our children, from settling in days in the babies and toddlers room, through the 2-3 and 3-4’s room has always been consistent. They have always been there with us through
sleep and potty training, and our children have all thrived with the lovely staff and managers. From varied food choices to different activities, including loads of outdoor play, arts and early years learning, our children have always been happy to go to nursery and often been reluctant to leave and come home! Kenton Park has been somewhat of a second home to our children, and we will be forever grateful for how genuinely caring they have been towards each of our little ones.

Both of my girls have been to this nursery since they were tiny and we love it.
Everyone is so kind and caring, they look after my girls with love and affection and I couldn’t want anything else for them at this age.
They both have loved going to nursery and I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
They have helped us out on numerous occasions from having the girls on extra days to providing spare clothes, nappies and wipes when we have forgotten despite being asked multiple times lol!
Kenton Park Nursery always goes the extra mile for the children and for us, any nursery can provide nice equipment and premises but what you can’t buy is the love and care and I thank all the staff as I can go to work happy in the knowledge that my children are in safe hands and that is worth more then money can buy.

I am extremely impressed with this nursery. Due to lockdown my daughter and I really hadn’t had any time apart when I was due to go back to work. She was a year old and wouldn’t settle with anyone. The perseverance and genuine attention paid to my daughter from all of the staff, and especially her key
worker, was exceptional. When I picked her up her key worker was able to tell me things that she only would have known if she’s been paying really close attention. (She commented on how she nipped for comfort- and she did do this!)
I felt like my child was almost getting one to one care in a nursery setting.
There are other “flashier” nurseries in the surrounding area, but if you want a small, personalised experience for your child where they are cared for by experienced, kind and professional staff then send your child here. I highly recommend it and both my husband and myself work in education.

Fantastic nursery, my daughter loved it here, we left at the start of the pandemic to relocate with my parents back in Cumbria otherwise she would still be attending! She misses everyone there still. Would highly recommend.

I was very anxious about returning to work after maternity leave and sending my son to nursery. However, my son absolutely loves going to nursery. He is very excited each morning when we arrive in the car park. The staff and management team are really lovely and have been very flexible and accomodating
in supporting my son alongside my work commitments. My son has a food allergy, and they are excellent in managing this. I feel that the staff are very good at communicating with each other, and nothing is ever missed! My son has developed and progressed so much in the last few months. He is such a happy little boy, and I think it's all to do with the love and support he gets at nursery when I have to be at work. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The nursery has been very supportive in providing care to children of key workers and has helped me out numerous times regarding my work schedule by being flexible and understanding. Both my girls love nursery and I know when I pick them up they had a busy day playing, learning, and interacting with
other children. Also, they always eat the nursery food which is comforting during the picky toddler stages.

My daughter loves nursery and we are so happy with everything the nursery does for her. She has been going since before she was one and now, nearly 3. The staff are fantastic and the setting is perfect, encouraging her development socially. She has started going back since a few months off over lockdown
and has settled into things again very well.

Very friendly and caring staff with attention to detail. Love the environment and my son has definitely learnt a lot from there. Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2008

I have been nursery manager here since 2008, but I have been in childcare for over 20 years. My passion to work with children was ignited when I had my own children. I work with a fantastic team, with most of them being long term staff members. I hold a Diploma in Early Years Practice Level 5. I am also the nursery’s Designated Safeguarding Lead. I feel so proud of the nursery that I have had the pleasure of being a part of for so many years.
