Kids Planet Kenton Park takes pride in an environment that works to cherish and nurture the early years development of each child, with a reputation for friendliness and hospitality among parents and families of the local community.

The nursery's environment is tailored to suit the goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage, with qualified staff looking to support each child to develop through the age ranges in their own way. An amazing nursery! The staff go above and beyond for every child and provide the highest quality care. They work closely to follow frameworks to encourage continuous development amongst children and have great facilities. Children get to spend time outdoors and are encouraged to use their imagination.
I am continuously kept up to date with my sons day via an app, including sleep and meals. All staff work as a team to provide the best possible care for all children and I would most definitely recommend this nursery to other parents and carers.

Lovely nursery. The staff are very polite and helpful, nothing is too much of a hassle for them and they are fantastic with the kids. My little boy sometimes gets upset going in but when he sees one staff member in particular he calms down. I get regular updates on the app and we’ll be sad when he has
to leave to go to big school!

My daughter started nursery here beginning of September. We have nothing but positive comments. Wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors. Couldn't fault the nursery, staff or facilities. They have been helpful and supportive with the transition period from another nursery to theirs.

Very good local nursery for my child. Lovely staff and sensible management. I've never had any issues with anything. There are enough outdoor and indoor activities for the kids to thrive, learn and explore.

Brilliant nursery. The staff are lovely and clearly really care about the children. Always have fun activities. Kids are fed nutritious meals. We get regular updates about how they are doing, and the communication is great. Both my kids love it and have had a wonderful experience.

Lovely nursery with fantastic staff. My little girl has been attending since she was 4 months old so it's great to see how much she has progressed in a year with the help of the staff. I was anxious to send her to nursery at such a young age but she absolutely loves it!

I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough! Our son joined in June 2020 during the lockdown and the difference nursery has made in supporting his development has been amazing. There is so much love and care for him from all the nursery staff, we take so much comfort in knowing how safe and happy he

Absolutely fantastic nursery, amazing facilities and a prime location. The best thing about this nursery has to be the amazing staff! They are like extended family, my daughter loves each and every one of her carers and has made some wonderful friends. Her speech and development have been incredible

Both my children have attended the nursery from the age of one. They are currently two and four and still enjoying every day they are there. I have nothing negative to say about Kids Planet. Staff go above and beyond, and my husband and I feel confident that the kids are well looked after. We often
hear from our four-year-old about the wonderful things staff do to keep her happy and entertained, and my own dealings with staff show them to be well-organised and very accommodating. Having experienced some challenging times before leaving the kids at nursery, I was particularly nervous about not having them at home with me. My overall experience has been such a positive one, and I'm very grateful for that.

Wonderful nursery where the staff are all caring and warm. It's a lovely homely environment. The managers care so much about the kids and know them all. It's obvious how much the staff enjoy being around the kids which is lovely to see.
My oldest loves all of the arts and crafts and time playing outside
in the garden. And my youngest loves the beautiful toys in the baby room and getting lots of cuddles and songs. They love the food and my oldest asks for nursery soup at home.
The nursery has a real heart to it. It means a lot that both my girls are so well looked after.

Our daughter loves this nursery so much. We have never had a time that she's not wanted to go. She skips in every morning. She has come on so much in the last few months and that is down to the amazing staff at Kids Planet Nursery School.

Home away from home setting. Friendly, warm, experienced staff. Always willing to go above and beyond for my child and also to ensure their welfare and happiness is looked after with utmost care. Since starting over a year ago, the development I have seen in my child has been nothing short of amazing!
The best thing however is seeing how excited she is to go in every day. This is the best indication that the carers are looking after her and it's a safe place for her to be.

All of our children had a great experience here. Don't be fooled by the exterior. There are flashier-looking nurseries in Gosforth which don't achieve the same high standards. This is all thanks to the staff who genuinely care about the kids.

My children have attended Kids Planet Kenton Park since 2020. Both have been extremely happy there. All of the staff are so friendly and obviously very caring towards the children. Whenever I have required help or flexibility with days/hours the nursery has been so flexible, patient and understanding
and always tried their best to accommodate. Can't rate highly enough.

I could not have asked for a better place to send my child. Before starting here my child was with me 24/7 and though we partook in multiple baby and toddler clubs, shyness was still a huge barricade. For that reason, I was incredibly nervous of having my child start here but after hearing numerous
recommendations of this nursery I took the plunge and went for it. Within 2 weeks my child was settled and happily going in without even a goodbye, so eager to get in. After a month here I noticed how confident my child had become around other children even those who were complete strangers. 2 months later my child's language and imagination had flourished. The staff really love the kids and treat them as their own, and are incredibly good at keeping parents informed of everything. This nursery has helped my child for the better. We love it here!

Just an all round brilliant nursery. The staff are incredible and provide an amazing experience. Both of my children have gone here and I highly recommend it. My eldest had a food allergy when she first started and they handled it so professionally, I was 100% confident she was safe there.

We love Kenton Park and have had/are having a great experience here. It has been the best start for our children. All staff are so friendly and they were able to settle our kids in the nursery so quickly. We would recommend to everyone in the local area.

My son has attended Kids Planet Kenton Park for the last 2 and a half years since the previous owners. I can not fault anything from the amazing staff to the wide variety of food that they have offered him, some of which I would have never thought to make myself. He has learned so much while attending
here and I love that I am updated by staff each day while collecting him on what he has done that day. I do believe that the staff here have had a huge impact on how my little boy is in himself as they have continued to teach him the good manners and skills that he will need when he enters school this September.

Mandy Conway

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2008

I have been nursery manager here since 2008, but I have been in childcare for over 20 years. My passion to work with children was ignited when I had my own children. I work with a fantastic team, with most of them being long term staff members. I hold a Diploma in Early Years Practice Level 5. I am also the nursery’s Designated Safeguarding Lead. I feel so proud of the nursery that I have had the pleasure of being a part of for so many years.
