The Elmfield Nursery

Could not recommend this nursery enough. My eldest child attended for 3-years and was always welcomed with a smile. They complete some creative and well thought out activities for the different age groups, and provide excellent meals for the children. My second child now attends, and although struggles with attachment, the nursery have made both myself and my child feel at ease. They send photos and updates throughout the day and always provide cuddles when needed.

I certainly wouldn’t take my two children anywhere else.

I really couldn't have hoped for a better nursery for my daughter, they genuinely care about the children and how they develop, and she is a lovely little person because of it.

My daughter attends Elmfield Nursery and thoroughly enjoys it. The staff are very warm, caring and maternal, and clearly care dearly for the children and love their jobs! My daughter is thriving and loves to talk about the staff, the games she has played, and the fun she has had with her friends at nursery. The nursery is managed really well, has good leadership, has good communication with parents, and excellent facilities. My daughter continued to attend nursery during lockdown (during Covid-19 pandemic) and the safety measures put in place and communication from the nursery was excellent. The staff are professional and happy to help with any question or query. There is a parent portal, which is updated regularly each day, so you can see what your little one is up to at nursery. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

I have to say the highlight of the nursery is the staff. My son loves them all! I truly believe it isn't just a job for them; they all care. They take such a vested interest in each and every child.

Two of my children (boy and girl) have attended Elmfield Nursery since the age of 9-months until school age. The nursery is a fantastic, friendly neighbourhood nursery in a lovely quiet area. The staff go above and beyond for the families who attend. My children both enjoyed the nursery immensely. The atmosphere is very caring and nurturing. I would have no hesitation to recommend this nursery.

An exceptional nursery! Staff are professional and experienced. We have complete peace of mind and confidence that our little one will be well taken care of once we leave her in the nursery. There is always a warm welcome that awaits us and a true feeling of community.

The recent lockdown and getting back to the nursery routine was hard, but because of the team and the fun and engagement, her tears didn’t last long and she’s back to her routine, enjoying all the fab activities they get up to!

Elmfield is a lovely nursery. Our son goes off for the day with a smile on his face and comes home happy and also pretty tired from a fun filled day. We get regular updates from the nursery and photos. They also monitor his progress against EYFS and report back on this. It's really great knowing he is going somewhere he is safe and happy.

Fantastic nursery. The staff are the highlight and are, without exception, endlessly kind and caring. Our child settled in so quickly which I attribute entirely to the nursery staff and he still loves to go there.

From the very first day at The Elmfield Nursery, my little girl was made to feel so welcome. The staff are all kind, caring and trustworthy and they made her feel comfortable from day 1 which as a parent is important. My daughter had four wonderful years there and loved every minute, she made great friends and I include the staff in that. She has learnt so much at nursery and I thoroughly believe that she wouldn't be the amazing little girl she is today without their care and support. I can't thank The Elmfield Nursery enough.

Both of our boys attend Elmfield nursery, it is a wonderful, caring environment with lovely staff. They do so much with the children and with my eldest having just left and now off to school, I can see what a difference his time at Elmfield has made. He is a confident, happy little boy who is ready for his next step at school.

Both my children love the garden and the meals - they often have seconds, they're always doing something different and fun and not even realising everything they're learning. Recently the trips to the care home have been a great experience for my eldest and I think it's lovely that Elmfield cares about the community it resides in. We find the app useful too and enjoy seeing pictures of what the boys have been up to. I could not recommend this nursery more if you're looking for a caring, safe and fun place for your child.

I would highly recommend Elmfield Nursery. My son has attended since he was one year old and has always been very happy there. It is a well-run nursery and the staff are all friendly and professional, always giving the children the best care and attention. It is a homely environment with a particularly lovely garden for the children to play in.

A combination of very caring staff and constantly high standards have meant our experience of Elmfield has been fantastic. The staff and management work hard to promote great communication between nursery and home and any niggles we have had have been sorted quickly. Our sons are happy and thriving, which is a reflection of the nursery and its practices.

I have two children at Elmfield who have been happy and content since day one. The staff are friendly and caring. They adapt play and tasks around the likes and skills of my four-year-old to enhance his interest in numbers and maths. The children rush to nursery and never want to leave and that’s the best feedback I could get.

Both of my children have been extremely happy at Elmfield. My youngest is still there and has a strong bond with the team and children at nursery. It is a wonderfully creative, playful and engaging environment from the moment you walk in the door.

Both my children have attended Elmfield and I have nothing but good things to say about them. The staff and management are excellent, they are very accommodating, always listening and communicating with parents. The activities, environment and the learning opportunities are all first class. We are always recommending Elmfield to friends.
