The site is extremely secure in how people enter and exit the building - would highly recommend this nursery!

Both my children have attended the nursery as well as the holiday club and thoroughly enjoy being there. Staff are very nurturing and professional. It is great to know that they are in such good hands while I am at work.

My daughter Lily has attended the nursery since she was 9 months old. I am very happy with the care she is given. They are always doing lots of fun activities, my daughter loves going to the nursery. The nursery is very flexible which is great as I am a shift worker. Would definitely recommend the nursery to others and I don't have anything negative at all to say about this nursery. It's lovely to know that my daughter is cared for so well while I have to work it makes the process so much easier knowing she is so well looked after.

My daughter loves coming to nursery and is always full of happy stories when I collect her. Childcare is always a touchy subject for any parent and I have had bad experiences in the past. I am over the moon that I have found somewhere that I feel happy leaving my daughter and the fact that she thoroughly enjoys her time at Valley Nursery makes leaving her a lot easier. I can go to work feeling confident that she is looked after and happy. I would defiantly recommend this nursery to any parent or carer.

My son really like the nursery. We changed 3 nurseries before and I can compare. The friendly and professional staff. Plenty of space for activities, a large outdoor area. Security. My son was gladly to go to the nursery. I recommend.

If I have any criticism it would be the general maintenance of the building, the adult toilets could do with being redecorated and on occasions there is a smell of damp in the building. Also that details of quantity of food eaten could be specified on the Parent Zone app rather just what was offered.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who was looking for a nursery. The staff are so friendly my son settled from the first day he went in and made myself and my son feel completely at ease. They have worked closely with me to help carry routines and new practices on at nursery so that transitions from home to nursery are minimal. The staff are very professional and the standards are far higher than other nurseries i have used in the past. Myself and my husband have a tricky work schedule which means we work a shift rotation, the nursery had no qualms about accommodating us and work closely with us so that i have continuous childcare. My son has come on so much with the help of this nursery and loves to go in. He has built relationships with the staff, and as a working mother this makes me feel completely at ease and makes leaving my child in childcare an easier process. Can't praise this establishment more.

Fantastic nursery, really relate with the children and their needs and have great systems to keep you posted with what they do in their day and their progression. The menu is fantastic, full of variety and healthy meals. My son has come on leaps and bounds and the children really get to learn social skills in well selected age groups. 100% trust with the staff from a very young age.

Overall I am very happy with the service provided by Valley Nursery. We chose the nursery for its flexibility in terms of accommodating varying working patterns each week and this aspect of the service has been fantastic. The staff are friendly, helpful and always very obliging. We like the use of the Parent Zone app, but would appreciate more information; one member of staff was excellent in recording milestones achieved, whereas generally we only receive the bare minimum about what our child has done in a day. Our son really enjoys nursery and has lots of stimulating activities to do now that he's a bit older. There are also a number of planned opt-in activities like hand prints on tiles that we really value as parents.

6 weeks old in 2006 until present. During this time the nursery has gone from strength to strength! Massive thank you to all the staff for all their help and support over the years.

The children are extremely well looked after and the staff are great at keeping in touch about children's developments and events.

Excellent quality of care, wide range of activities carried out throughout the day with lots of play taking place outside, weather permitting, so plenty of fresh air. Good range of healthy foods and overall a stimulating environment for children to learn and play.

I sometimes worry that we are spending a mortgage's worth on childcare but when I compare prices to other nurseries I am reassured that we are getting really good value for money.

My daughter started this January as part of the 2 year funding. She thoroughly enjoys going and loves all aspects of nursery life. The staff are so down to earth and always listen to what I have to say or work with me with something e.g potty training. Seeing my little girl running into nursery means to me she loves it which is totally heart warming to see, as soon as she is at the gate she gets the warmest welcomes off everybody, its so lovely to see. I believe the nursery is fab, especially her room.

The nursery staff here are very professional and friendly to both parents and children. I find them very approachable which ensures me that my child can go to them any time. The nursery itself is very clean and appealing to all. My child shows signs of new skills, learning, activities every week which shows continuous learning and games which the children enjoy and progress by.

The staff are friendly and very attentive. Plenty of outdoor and indoor activities for the kids. I am very satisfied with the level of care provided for my child.

Only negative: some facilities need updating/ repaired (kids toilets in some rooms and dampness smell in one of the kids rooms).

Conveniently located just off the A1 on Team Valley Gateshead. Opening hours 07.45 to 18.00 facilitate working. My child has been at the nursery for 2 1/2 yrs since they were 1. Staff friendly and genuinely interested in the children. Usually able to fit in extra sessions if needed at short notice which I have found very helpful.

The Valley Nursery & Kids Club have been exceptional for my son and daughter, they all need a pay rise.

This is a fantastic nursery. Both my daughters and son go to Valley Nursery, my son in the nursery and my daughter in Holiday club but she was in the nursery first from when she was 1. Both my kids enjoy going and have lots of fun. My son loves Pyjama drama which runs on a Wednesday am. All the staff are lovely and very approachable. I highly recommend Valley Nursery.
