St Agnes Day Nursery offers care and early learning for children from the age of three years, although occasionally some children start from two and a half years old, when there is availability.
Some 30-hour funded sessions are offered subject to availability.   The nursery provides morning and afternoon sessions, as well as wraparound care, with a breakfast and after school club running during term time. There is also a holiday club to help children maintain their routine during the school holidays.

Children at St Agnes Day Nursery are supported to learn through play in a secure and fun environment where they can develop in confidence and individuality. Each child is assigned a key person who works closely with their key children to monitor their progress and support them throughout their time at the nursery. A higher than statutory ratio of staff to children is usual practice, with about one practitioner for every six children. Practitioners are all qualified to at least Level 3, and there are two qualified teachers on-site at most times.

As well as following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), St Agnes Day Nursery promotes the British values of democracy, mutual respect and tolerance, the rule of law and individual liberty.

Funding & Fees

Nursery sessions are £6 per hour plus charges for meals. Government-Funded sessions are also available with additional charges for meals, snacks, wipes and resources.
Out of school club sessions vary according to the times attended. For school-aged children, breakfast club is £7.50 from 7.30 am, or £6 from 8am. After school club starts at £9 per session. Please contact the nursery for details. Holiday club is £25 per day from 9am to 3pm.

St Agnes Day Nursery has been a godsend for my son! He’s thriving since starting here and loves going to nursery here. I love how I get to see what he gets up to through an online app and see pictures of him doing numerous different activities! The staff are all so lovely and welcoming, and I’ve had
no issues at all. Flexible with days etc too very accommodating! Thank you so much, and I’ll be sad to see my little boy leave here!

Our daughter started nursery in January and absolutely loves it. As parents, it is so reassuring to know that she is cared for in such a lovely environment. The nursery updates are fantastic, with photos of the children and descriptions of what they have been doing. We have been so impressed by the
level of stimulation, the topics covered, and the interesting methods of learning through play.

I could not speak more highly of St Agnes Nursery. The staff are all fantastic at what they do. As a parent, we want to know that the place we're sending our children is safe, secure and that our kids are looked after; this nursery has ticked all the boxes and more. They have provided an excellent learning
environment with regular updates via the app, which provides us with regular updates and reassurance. I feel lucky to have such a fantastic placement for my child in this excellent nursey.

Both my children have attended this setting, my youngest is still there, and they both love it. The staff are so warm and friendly, and will happily go above and beyond to make nursery special for your child or help with any issues such as toilet training. I have never had any complaints about this
nursery in 4-years and don't know any other parents who have had either! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

St Agnes Nursery is a wonderful nursery. As soon as we visited, we were given a warm friendly welcome. The staff are fantastic, always smiling and they give the children 110%. I completely trust the care and education of St Agnes Nursery, I feel the high staff: child ratio is extremely beneficial to
the children at this age and the vast range of activities offered ensure the children experience a wonderful learning experience. The outdoor space offers many activities and the regular trips to the local library encourage a love of books. The EYlog is an excellent way of finding out what the children have been doing and the open door policy reassures parents they can approach nursery anytime. A truly outstanding nursery all round.

There is nothing more important as the people and place who look after your children. At St Agnes Day Nursery I am completely happy and secure in the knowledge my little one is cared for in the best possible way. The staff are amazing. Our daughter loves every second she spends at St Agnes Nursery. The staff are amazing with all the children and make it a lovely, safe, learning environment for everyone. The staff keep you updated on how our daughter is progressing and provide lovely feedback from their daily activities.

I have used St Agnes day nursery for pre-school care and now after school club. I cannot fault the care provided for my child. As a parent you are made to feel involved in the development of your child and now my child is at school they provide excellent after school care, providing my child with a
safe environment to play and learn. I feel part of one big St Agnes day nursery family.

As a nursery manager, I believe we have a nursery brimming with laughter and curiosity, where every child feels seen, loved and excited to learn. With the help of my amazing team, we have created a warm, playful space where little ones explore the world through hands-on fun, build lasting friendships and discover their unique talents.


We nurture social and emotional growth, fostering kindness and confidence, so they blossom into happy, lifelong learners.
