Busy Bees York

Our daughter has been attending Busy Bees in York since she was about 9 months old and is currently in the foundation class. Over the years we have been delighted with how professional and welcoming the nursery is and the way it has helped our daughter develop from baby to almost school age. We are always kept informed about our daughter's day and her overall progress, receiving feedback at the end of each day and also at parent's evenings at certain points in the year. The nursery uses the parentzone app which is also useful to see how your child is doing throughout the day. Each child at Busy Bees in York has a key worker and the children clearly love the staff. The nursery has good facilities and educational areas, the food provided is varied and healthy and there is a real community feel to the place (the nursery often raises money for charities and had special events such as summer fairs.) We have felt extremely secure and happy leaving our daughter at Busy Bees in York, knowing she will be well looked after and will enjoy her day. Our son has also recently enrolled and is currently enjoying the baby class.

Great nursery. Lovely staff. Wonderful environment. My little girl loves it. Always has a huge smile on her face and loves all the staff. The baby room is spacious, clean and full of fun activities.

I have two children attending nursery, one in the baby room and one in toddlers. As a family, we are always made to feel incredibly welcome by all staff. What I always find striking is how much the children are spoken to and sang to; communication, speech and language is clearly a high priority. Home cooked meals are cooked on site and there is always a range of fresh fruit and vegetable. I have no doubt that attending Busy Bees has had a big impact on the positive start to my children's life.

Love the nursery and staff are all fab and helpful. My son has moved into a new room and they have made the transition so easy and stress-free for him. He loves going and doesn't want to come home at the end of the day. The nursery is well equipped with activities to enhance his learning and development at every stage and staff are committed to encouraging him wherever they can. I can't recommend highly enough.

Very helpful staff. Twins have an amazing time at the nursery, always come out smiling and happy- developing new skills every single time. As English is not their first language starting the nursery was a little scary for me as a parent but the staff were so helpful and assisted the twins in settling in and making them welcome and part of a group. Thank you to the ladies for all the hard work.

Lovely friendly staff at Busy Bees York, they have welcomed our daughter and supported me since she started there. We are very happy with her development and progress there. Most of all, our daughter is happy there and enjoys it.

Since leaving my daughter in the care of Busy Bees, at 1 year old, when returning to work, I have always been safe in the knowledge that she is happy, cared for and having fun. She is now 4 years old and thoroughly enjoys the time she spends there. She has very close relationships with staff members and all of them, regardless of room, remember her by name. The transition between rooms has always been smooth and she has been lucky enough to form firm friendships with other children, as many have moved through the nursery with her from being babies. My daughter is a confident, polite and social little girl and I have no doubt that the Busy Bees environment and its staff members have contributed greatly to that.

This is a great nursery and my daughters have definitely benefited from being there.

We have been using Busy Bees in York for over a year now and our daughter is very happy there. The nursery is split into 4 age areas (babies, 1.5 - 2yrs, 2-3yrs and 3-5yrs). The rooms are clean, bright and airy with different play area in every corner. There is also large outside play area. All staff are qualified, very friendly and always happy to help and go along with your wishes. The children do different activities every day (from playing with toys, puzzles, painting and even helping to bake muffins). They also have different meals every day which our daughter enjoys. The pre-school group do Nativity plays for Christmas, and the whole nursery has a Christmas fair with Father Christmas, they do dress up days and much more throughout a year. You can also have access to your own online account where you can get updates and photos of your child at nursery. All staff at Busy Bees in York do a fantastic job.

Busy Bees is a fantastic nursery. My two year old is still there and she is very happy. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend to any parent. The rooms are bright and staff make a real effort to change activities and areas fresh and exciting. This is my second child who has attended the nursery and we have used the nursery for over 5 years. You are always welcomed by happy staff and children.

I attended the free baby group on a Monday morning for a few weeks before returning to work from maternity leave. I met all the staff that would be looking after my son and they are really lovely and caring and are so dedicated to providing the best childcare. He really loves going to nursery and the baby group really helped with settling in and with my anxieties about leaving him as I have no doubt he is in the best possible care whilst I'm at work. The nursery facilities are fantastic, caring for all of my child's needs and the daily activities are fun and exciting keeping him entertained and educating him too.
