I can honestly say that me and my wife were both sceptical about putting our 6-month-old boy into nursery at a young age, but after meeting all the staff at the Busy Bee's on Cornwall Road Harrogate, our minds were put to ease. You can call in at any time and check on them, see how they are doing, the
staff are so great with our son. They constantly work on the development of each child and our son's development has come one massively since spending two days a week at the nursery. All the staff are really great and one member of staff, in particular, is fantastic, such a great person and really great at her job, our son loves her and is always so happy to see her. If you can get a place at this nursery it would be highly recommended. Every time I check in on our son, he's always doing something new, from playing in the sandbox, water, painting, or activities with other children. The nursery has its own chefs which has helped our son be great at eating a variety of foods. All food is cooked fresh on site.

I love the staff here, I feel like they really care for my son as well as keep him occupied with interesting things all day. The outside space is fantastic and he always comes home excited and tired out from the days he has there.

My little boy is 2.5 and started at this nursery 7 months ago. He did take some time to settle in but his key worker really worked with him to try and make him feel at ease. The nursery building and outside play area are exceptional and I have been really impressed with the quality of equipment provided.
The staff at the nursery are very assertive with the children and I feel confident that they are instilling high standards and excellent manners at an early age. The staff were great at working with my little boy during toilet training and he managed to conquer this successfully in a week! My little boy does have times when he gets upset at drop off but the staff are working with both me and him to try and improve this for him and I am confident we will get there as he always comes home with a big smile on his face.

Can't recommend Busy Bees Cornwall Road enough!! MY little girls absolutely love it and has come on so much with her development just from her time there. The meals they give to the children are all freshly prepared, home-cooked and are varied and healthy. My little girl started there when she was just
6 months and is now in the Bumbles Room for age 2 and up.
All the staff are patient but also firm with ensuring the children learn to be kind and polite with one and another. The ladies in Bumbles are just brilliant.
Their outdoor play area at the back of the nursery is safe, secure and full of activities to keep them entertained. My little girl especially loves the large sandpit and the wooden playhouse. The fees are very reasonable compared to other nurseries in Harrogate and it was one of the reasons that swayed us to choose them in the first place.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the care our child receives from this nursery. The staff are always very pleasant and provide helpful information about our child's day proving their vigilance. The outside play area is fantastic and they regularly play out which I personally find to be a real
positive. Judging by the updates I also understand they receive a really good varied choice of meals and snacks. Finally, my wife and I chose this particular nursery as we saw the ratio of children to carers appeared much better than what we saw elsewhere. This remains to appear the case to us and we feel our child has formed strong bonds with staff, but a particular those who are more regularly caring for him.

The staff at Busy Bees are extremely kind, funny, and warm. My daughter loves going there, I feel like she is safe and having a lovely time. The staff have really got to know my daughter well and I trust that she is happy there during the day. There is a great outdoor play area, my daughter is kept
entertained all day, comes home with wonderful pictures and things she's done during the day, and we always received detailed feedback about what she's done during the day.

My son joined Busy Bee's at 6-months-old, from the first day I left him I not only knew he was being thoroughly cared for, I felt it too - the staff are so warm and welcoming, always happy to see you and you can tell they really enjoy what they do! I wouldn't consider taking my child anywhere else -

This is the first nursery my child has ever gone to, and she's progressed from being reluctant to part with us at the door to getting excited to go in just a few weeks. The nursery itself is small and friendly. I particularly like the outdoor facilities and the effort the staff put into taking the children
outside at every possible opportunity. I really feel like the little ones benefit from the fresh air and activeness that come with being outdoors. I also like that the nursery assigns a key worker to each child. My daughter's key worker has built a fantastic bond with her, and I feel like she's gone to great lengths to get to know my child's every like, dislike, and personality trait and she gives me fantastic, detailed updates about her learning and development regularly.

My daughter has been attending since she was 6 months old (April), the staff are amazing and always take the time to give you a detailed breakdown of the day, great for any full time working parents who feel guilty leaving their children!
She settled really well and loves the home-cooked meals.
The
outside play area is also a child’s dream.
I visited many day nurseries when searching for childcare, I knew as soon as I walked through the door at this one that this was the nursery for us and we’ve never looked back.

I have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to friends/colleagues. Our son has been here since January 2015 and is very happy. For us, this nursery was a good location, en-route to work, with off street parking and a great outdoor area.
It has a really great outdoor play area/space at the rear
for the children, recently refurbished and as it's astro turf based the children can play in all weathers; including a sandpit, mud kitchen and tree house with slide. The food is all home cooked from scratch on site and a really varied menu, which is great as it means my son eats food here that he might refuse at home.
The staff are all friendly and do a great job, they have a great rapport with the children and our son loves going to "tweenie house" to play with his friends.

The staff are great with both parents and children. It’s a very friendly place where my daughter loves to learn. This is such an amazing nursery. The staff welcome and know my daughter's name even if she isn't in their section. They are outside in the fresh air whenever physically possible!


The facilities are great and the food menu has such a good variety.


The children really are at the heart of everything

they do. It's so lovely to
see that all staff want to be there and feel so passionately about the nursery.


Our daughter's development has come on so much and I believe the nursery setting is a direct result of this!

Our daughter has attended this setting for 4 and a half years and our time at nursery is about to come to an end. This will be an emotional time, both for our family and I also get the feeling the long serving members of staff will also be sad.
Kindercare is now a well-managed, safe, secure and caring
environment. The setting has improved over the last couple of years because they have received more resources - staff and financial (potentially).
Our child is equipped with social, emotional and the educational skills required to flourish at school and much of this is as a result of the Kindercare - Cornwall Road staff.

My son has been at the nursery since he was 9 months old and has been thriving. The staff are lovely and friendly. Easy to talk to if I want to let them know anything about how my son has been at home. They care about their jobs and make you feel welcome. They know the children who attend there. The
staff always greet you with a smile. Most of the staff members have been at the nursery a long time which shows they care and enjoy their jobs. The management is good too. Always care and if they have any concerns they will let you know. They are easy to approach if you have any concerns too. My son is settled and happy sometimes he doesn't want to leave when I come and collect him.

We have been taking our son to Kindercare - Cornwall Road nursery since he was 11months old until recently (headed to school) and our daughter is now attending at 11months as well. The staff are really friendly and are always available to help. They know our children so well and we feel that they do
everything possible to help them where they struggle (meal times, listening, writing their name, etc). It's a lovely extended family environment! The only constructive point to make is that we wished to have more interaction (on maybe even a quarterly basis) to have an update on our child's progress and what we can do to help at home (if our child is below or above average in areas of development)! I think we might have had maybe one parents' evening in about 3yrs. We are told in passing what our children are up to and what they have been working on that day when we collect them.

All 3 of my children have been part of this nursery, I have been using it since September 2013 and will be continuing for the next 2 years.
All the staff are friendly and patient, they do a job I never could! They are very knowledgeable about child development and are happy to answer any questions
about how children develop. They also take them out to the park nearby which my children have enjoyed.
All my children have attended on a part time basis, full time when I was recovering from an operation and have been very accommodating when I have needed an extra day/early start.
I have never used any other childcare provider and would strongly recommend their services.

Fantastic nursery, of which we have seen both of our children attend, one of whom is coming into his final year.
The nursery and staff do a fantastic job of encouraging the children to grow and develop key skills, ready for when they start school.
It has recently had an amazing refurbishment of the
play area (which was brilliant to begin with) which the children love.
Off street parking for drop off and pick up is a rare luxury in Harrogate, and avoids parking headaches.

Our daughter has been going to Kindercare - Cornwall Road since she was 9 months and she loves it. They have a fabulous, nurturing environment and she is learning so much. There is an amazing outdoor area too which the children get to spend lots of time in. All the staff are fantastic and very loving.
