Blue Sky Day Nursery (Market Weighton)

Blue Sky are brilliant, my daughter loves going and enjoys the different activities she does. Not too many children in the different rooms. If she could, she would go every day.

The members of staff are warm and friendly, they always have a smile on their face. The establishment is clean and has good measures of security. My daughter enjoys doing the fun activities that are provided and loves playing in the vast outdoor space. The meals and snacks which are provided are healthy and nutritious. Whilst my daughter is at Blue Sky Day Nursery, I feel safe in the knowledge that she is receiving the best care and is very well looked after.

I have two children at Blue Sky and my experience has always been positive. The nursery nurses are fantastic in giving us updates on what the kids are up to during the day and the admin staff are all really helpful any time I have any questions for them. Both kids love going to the nursery and they are always doing activities that keep them engaged. It is also worth mentioning that Blue Sky is unique in its flexibility which is extremely helpful given our job schedule with my husband which is always changing. I can only recommend this nursery to everyone!

It was hard to imagine trusting anyone to look after my baby when I returned to work, but the staff at Blue Sky are amazing with him and know him inside out. They are reassuring and communicative. It really does feel like he is one of the family.

I can’t praise Blue Sky enough for all their time, hard work and care they have put into my son who has extra needs. The team is always on hand to help with anything we need. My son loves attending and I love knowing he’s happy and safe in their care.

My son absolutely loves attending this nursery his confidence has soared since starting. I love the fact all the meals are home-cooked and my son enjoys what he eats. The Elves staff are brilliant with my son and I can tell a lot of effort goes into his time with them.

Always smiling and happy to help, quick with their communications, and keeping us in the know constantly about our child's development. We also love seeing their social media posts with photos of what they all get up to throughout the day! We recommend them to everyone!

We needed flexible care due to shift patterns and self employment and their flexibility is fantastic compared to others we looked into. They have never failed to accommodate late notice requests and will take her as little or often as we require.

Blue Sky is an amazing nursery. I was always apprehensive about sending my child to daycare and felt guilty to go back to work. But, Blue Sky is like a home from home. The staff are wonderful and always have a chat at the end of the day so I know exactly what she has been up to. My daughter loves going and tells me all about her adventures on our journey home. It also amazed me how much they work with the children on writing skills and penmanship; she isn't just playing, she's learning too. Their tag line rings true and I know my child is safe, happy and loved at Blue Sky.

Could not praise Blue Sky enough for how amazing they have been before and during the pandemic. My little boy loves every minute he is at nursery and it’s all because of the wonderful staff that work there. He has learnt so much in the last 2 years of going to Blue Sky. When they say they treat your child like their own, they mean it. It’s lovely to see the great relationship my boy has with everyone that works there and we will be sad when he moves up to school in September.

Blue Sky Day Nursery has been amazing for our daughter who has additional needs. The dedication and hard work of all the staff has been amazing. They have gone above and beyond to offer our daughter the help and support that she needs, whilst being included in activities with her peers. Our daughter comes home from nursery very messy and very contented - just what we wanted.

Any parents looking for a nursery would be hard pushed to find better, I wish all the staff and children all the best in the future.

Absolutely outstanding! The Team really do uphold the nursery promise which is to care for each child as they would their own. My little boy started at around 9 months old and is now 6. He still loves coming and often asks if he can go more often. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the team and they will do everything they can to ensure the child’s needs are met. The out of school club and holiday club have a wide variety of activities and he always comes home saying how much fun he has had. Blue Sky is definitely like a big family. Covid has been difficult for us all but the staff have made sure it is as safe as can be and that the children still have lots of fun.

I would highly recommend them to other parents who want a child care solution, knowing their child is safe and happy. All of this is at an affordable rate, with flexibility. Also, their continued commitment to child care during these challenging times has been fantastic, and each and every one of them should be acknowledged for this.

I feel incredibly lucky that they are my local nursery. They have cared for my son since he was around 9 months old; he is now nearly 4 and loves his time there. They were incredibly helpful in managing his dairy intolerance when he was first there and even now, manage to get him to eat things there, that he won’t even try at home. The way they have handled childcare during this pandemic has been outstanding and I have full confidence in their abilities to manage anything that will happen in the future.

Absolutely amazing place. They love our children as we do. My little girl has been going since 3 months old and she absolutely loves the place. Such a caring and pleasant atmosphere and so many activities and different things for the children to do. My little girl is 15 months now and is coming on leaps and bounds. The nursery play such an important role in her development.

Blue Sky have always been very flexible, approachable and professional. We feel confident that our son is receiving high-quality care at all times and he clearly has a fantastic time. This high-quality care has not been affected at all by the Covid guidance in place and this shows how fabulous and flexible the staff are. My son has additional physical needs and this was picked up by the skilled staff team early, when he was a baby, meaning I was able to get him the support he needed early. Sending your precious bundle to nursery can be daunting and meeting work demands can be stressful. I will always be grateful for the care given to my son at Blue Sky as it has made those things easier to manage. He has attended since aged 1 and is now 2 1/2, he loves it and loves the staff. I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. Thank you Blue Sky.

I do feel that my child has become part of a family rather than a number at Blue Sky. There are plenty of varied activities and I love that they get the children outside as much as possible. The staff are great, with a positive can-do attitude and the management is always helpful with flexible childcare as/when required.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for two years and loves going in to play. As a teacher, I am pleased with the provisions and care provided and I love that the children spend a lot of time outside, exploring, digging, planting, running and climbing. A great, flexible nursery which provides a safe, caring environment for my child.
