Blue Sky Day Nursery (Market Weighton)

Our daughter has been going to Blue Sky since she was 9 months old. She is now 22 months old and still thoroughly enjoying her time there. She seems to have built a lovely bond with the staff and always comes home happy and chatty (and tired out from all the fun!). The nursery is always keen to reply to any queries I have and I always get a response extremely fast. They provide lovely activities and trips for the children too. I've just had my second daughter and she will hopefully be joining all the fun at Blue Sky next year when I return to work!

I feel comfortable leaving my child with the staff at Blue Sky.

Blue Sky Nursery are always very accommodating with the days that you require booking which you don't find with many nurseries. My child loves attending the nursery and always has fun and productive days. On collection of your child you always receive a debrief of their day and highs and lows and things to be aware of. The nursery often do trips and outings which my child loves. My child has been coming to this nursery since he was 10 months old and we have always had a great experience. He will be starting school soon and he will be using their wrap-around care. I have full confidence in the nursery and I thank all the team for their love and care for the children.

Children have attended Blue Sky since September 2021. The staff have always been attentive and know my children really well. Nothing has ever been too much trouble and when having to change days etc. The staff have been fantastic. I would highly recommend Blue Sky as they are extremely flexible which suits our needs as a family.

From the get-go, my child has been very well looked after to the point she now wakes up saying "nursery morning" because she absolutely loves going. I love seeing all the updates online and the staff are just brilliant! I would recommend this nursery to anyone. You can really see the difference in my child's development when she's been to nursery because she comes out with new words which is brilliant.

My 9-month-old has just started at Blue Sky and he loves it! I can tell from the moment I drop him off, he is smiling and keen to go inside. He is always in a good mood when I pick him up, happy and chatty! The staff are always smiling and seem to be relaxed and calm with the babies, which is key to keeping the babies happy. They are genuinely passionate about being with the children and encouraging them to be the best versions of themselves.

Wonderful nursery, the management team have been brilliant whenever needed support, room leaders are caring and fab at their jobs. The staff are lovely and I can tell my daughter has enjoyed her time there.

Great out-of-school club, my daughter goes regularly and has done so for 18 months. She loves it and sometimes is disappointed when she has to come home. The school holidays are always fun, there are often other activities being done such as going out on day trips etc. They are really helpful and flexible and will try and accommodate any changes to childcare requirements.

This is an amazing nursery, they do so much with the children and our little boy is always so happy when he’s been there. They keep us updated with everything he does in the day and really do look after him like he’s their own! Can’t recommend them highly enough.

A brilliant nursery, that both of my daughters attended and since joining they have developed so much in speech and knowledge. They have many good things to say when they come home every time, are amazing with communication and very helpful with any needs of ours as parents.

My son loves going to nursery here and the staff are excellent with him, he has come out of his shell so much and always has a great time there. They offer a good range of food for them and my son is a really fussy eater but has definitely improved.

Great staff. Good place. Always try their best and always go out of their way. Good contact if there are any problems and always fast. My child loves going here. Good selection of things to do and lots of different activities.

They always go above and beyond and try to fit your children in last minute and if they can’t do the day you asked tell you an alternative if that works for you and stuff. I don’t usually do drop off or pick up but when the staff see us at school always talk and wave and ask how the boys are which is lovely and appreciated and wave at us when driving past when we are walking.

My son absolutely loves attending nursery. He walks in really happy and comes back out happy too. He has a close bond with the staff team and they are all lovely. Staff have a good understanding of his allergies and ensure that he doesn’t have anything to eat that he shouldn’t have.

I've had two children who are/have been/ at Blue Sky Nursery. They have both settled in very well. The staff/ managers are very lovely. The staff like to give you daily reports of your child, which is nice. The setup is very nice.

We have used Blue Sky out-of-school club for both boys for nearly 7 years now. The staff are great, the kids enjoy the activities, particularly the trips which are organised over the holidays. We have always found the service flexible and good value, I wouldn’t be able to work full time without it.

My son has shown remarkable improvement in his speech since he started attending the nursery. The staff greet with warm smiles every time I drop off or pick up my child, which brings me immense joy knowing that he is in good hands. The staff diligently provide detailed updates about my child's activities throughout the day. It's reassuring to receive such thorough information, knowing that my child's experiences are being closely monitored and communicated with care. The environment at the nursery is consistently clean and welcoming.

Blue Sky has been great for our son, who is now 15 months old and has been attending for around 6 months. He's always excited to go in and is progressing really well there. The care he receives from the staff is excellent. We're always impressed with how flexible they are and we're able to just book the days we need.

We love Blue Sky, nothing is ever too much. If I need to change days or send my daughter in earlier it's never any bother. She has multiple food allergies and they always send me an email with ingredient lists of new foods before they give her them. She loves her room teachers and her room teachers really supported me when her behaviour at home was causing issues. They implemented a sticker chart at the nursery to help support her sticker chart at home.
