Kids Planet Whitwood

Since my son started in September, the nursery has encouraged him to develop in all areas, and they don't only just work with the children, they're great at working with the parents as well. The team and setting overall are amazing, my first child when to Hillside Private Day Nursery and now my second child is attending there and I wouldn't have him in another setting, they are great.

My daughter loves it at Hillside Private Day Nursery. At the start she was very shy as she's never been in a setting with lots of children before but it didn't take her long to settle in and the educators helped her so much with this, she now runs in. I'm provided with updates throughout the day on my child and love all the things she brings home that she made at nursery. All the staff are lovely and are always telling me what she's been up to during the day and the healthy meals she's had. She already can't wait to get into their new nursery at the wheat sheaf it looks amazing.

Our daughter has come on leaps at bounds at Hillside - the educators are always providing us with updates on how she's doing throughout the day and when we collect her. Everyone's doing a fantastic job to provide a safe and fun environment - thank you to everyone there!

My son has additional needs and I have been blown away with how his key workers and management have adjusted anything and everything he needs to make things easier and more settling for him. The manager has been incredible with assisting with my son's Mysupport plan and EHCP (education, health and care plan) and just makes things so much easier during a challenging phase for us. We don't ever want him to leave! It's his happy place after home which means the world to us! Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for him and us!

Fantastic setting for a nursery, all the assistants are helpful with a smile always on their faces. Makes dropping my child off in the morning less of a worry knowing that they will always be cared for. Moving to the new nursery will be amazing just sad that the outdoor space has been cut off.

One word fantastic! After having to move my twin girls from another setting to this one I've got nothing but positive feedback. For the first time I feel happy knowing my girls are safe, well looked after and happy within their placement! Would recommend to anyone! The staff are amazing, the meals every week are brilliant, one happy mummy.

Love, love, love Hillside Private Day Nursery - Whitwood. My little one loves going there and loves all the staff who work at this setting. They are like his second family. He loves all the learning and playing. He has been at this setting since he was 10 months old and it will be very emotional when the time comes for him to move on to big boy school. There is creative indoor spaces which change often if not daily and the outside area wow, the way they get to explore the wooded area is great. Staff are not only great with the kids in their care they are always there for the parents no matter what, they see you as their family which brings you comfort. The app they have for parents is very informative every day. Their events are great! I could go on forever about how good this nursery is and I would recommend anyone looking for a nursery to go here you won't regret it.

My daughter attends this nursery three days a week and loves it, especially her key worker who she talks about all the time! They are amazing at keeping parents up to date with regular photos and notes on my daughter's progress over the month. They also have lots of events where parents are invited into the nursery. I'm looking forward to my son starting here soon!

Fantastic nursery all the staff who work with my little boy are amazing. He absolutely loves it there. They keep him clean, well fed and do their absolute most for him. They are working really hard with his development in all areas.

My little boy attends this nursery in pre-school he absolutely loves goes to nursery to play with all his friends and educators. He always comes home with a great big smile on his face and telling me about all the exciting things hes learnt throughout the day.

Absolutely love this nursery and all staff my daughter visiting this nursery for a year nearly and she is confident and she loves all people there and the kids. I appreciate everything that they did and are still doing for my little one. Nursery did help her with talking, and getting friends and more. For sure will be tears there when we leave, love it can’t be more happy than already I am.

I have never had a moment's hesitation in leaving my children in the care of Hillside for the last 4 years. The staff are amazing; friendly, caring, dedicated, professional. The buildings are old, but well maintained giving the setting a very homely feel with lots of outdoor space, which is well used. It is small enough to know all the staff, but big enough for the children to make friends. Activities are well planned, engaging and take account of the children's interests.

If you are looking for a homely, loving, stimulating environment this is the place to be. Staff are committed to providing such wonderful experience and high quality care, they also plan fantastic family events giving families the opportunity to get to know the practitioners caring for their children. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
