Kids Planet Wetherby is set in Crossley Street Primary School. The nursery has 73 places for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Kids Planet Wetherby strives to give children the best start to life by giving them the confidence to play and learn about the world around them. The focus is on learning through play where children are nurtured and encouraged to take part in a wide variety of activities to boost their imagination and social skills.

Parents are kept up-to-date with their child's development and are invited in for regular parent partnership meetings. A monthly newsletter, themed stay and play sessions and fun family events mean parents will soon become part of the Kids Planet family.

A fabulous environment for my grandson to spend some time. The staff have been great in helping him to settle in and go the extra mile to make him feel secure, allowing him to explore and interact with new people, especially in the current climate. Well done everyone and thank you so much.

Both of my little girls have loved their time at Twinkles Nursery Wetherby. The care they receive in all of the rooms is truly impressive. I am especially pleased with the amazing menus and quality of the food prepared from scratch and cooked on site. No wonder they have both thrived in the environment

My 2 children joined Twinkles when they were 2 and 3 and settled in straight away thanks to the amazing and welcoming staff throughout the setting! They have encouraged them over the last year and not only helped them to develop skills but also build confidence. I could not rate this nursery and the
staff more highly! My daughter is now ready to start school but my son is looking forward to another happy year here!

We have been very impressed by Twinkles since our son started nursery, especially with the support we received during the pandemic (as we are both key workers). I was very apprehensive about returning to work and leaving my son at nursery but feel that all of the staff at Wetherby and the core team
at Boston Spa have gone above and beyond to support the process. Each day there is a range of activities available aimed at stimulating and supporting our sons development, and we can already see how quickly he is flourishing.

Twinkles Nursery is amazing. My son has been going there for 18 months. The staff have gone out of their way to help him settle and work with us to ensure his drop off went well (he was a little clingy and anxious). His key worker even changed her shift to be there for him.
During the Covid 19 pandemic,
the nursery continued to have our son (due to both parents being key workers) on the days needed and were brilliant at keeping us up to date with all information.
They are always accommodating for our needs. So friendly so caring. Our son loves it. Thank you Twinkles!

My little one goes 3 days a week and has flourished while at Twinkles, coming on leaps and bounds in confidence and language.
The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, planning all manner of activities and events with the toddlers both inside and outdoors. Even as a parent, it is nice to come across
the random events as they happen (recently ducklings were being hatched).

There is parking if needed, close by.
A brand new enclosed outdoor play area.
Meals prepared on site.
Useful services like "Sun Club" that will provide sunblock and hats in summer for a small subscription.
A Pram lock-up (very useful as I often walk down).


In short, I would be hard pressed to find a better nursery.

My son has been here since he was one. Throughout this time, I have been incredibly impressed by the standard of care overall and the staff, who are all first class. In each room, he has thrived in the environment. Staff are knowledgeable about the care they give and the development they provide.
I
have felt completely assured that he is in the absolute best environment to encourage his development.
I will be sad for him to leave Twinkles and can only hope that he continues to be so well supported on his educational journey. During the last year, my partner and I separated. Nursery have been outstanding at supporting my son through this difficult time, supplying helpful books which 'normalised' the situation, helping him thrive despite the situation. They provide activities to stimulate learning, Forest Schools is excellent, as are play and sessions for parents.
I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They are an outstanding rated nursery and in my opinion, outstanding in every way.

We are incredibly happy with the care that our son receives at Twinkles Nursery. He is always excited to go and clearly enjoys each day there, coming home happy and tired out from all his activities.
We have been especially pleased with the way that all the staff, particularly his key worker in the
baby stars room, have learnt new skills to communicate with him using baby sign, something which we were using at home and were keen to maintain during his days at nursery. This has been carried on in the rising stars room and is much appreciated. The love and care that they show him is wonderful and it is lovely to see the close bonds he has formed with them. We couldn't wish for better.

I would highly recommend this friendly down to earth nursery with fantastic relatable staff in which professional relationships between parents and carers are easily forged.
My son attends Twinkles two days a week and he loves it. Nursery has brought him on leaps and bounds and he is developing so
quickly. Twinkles have been so understanding about my son's medical conditions and never hesitate to ask me for further information to help with their understanding.
When choosing a nursery the manager at Twinkles gave us all the information we needed and went above and beyond by sign posting us to the child care choices website to find out what we were entitled to.

We heard so many good things about Twinkles in Wetherby before, so we always knew that it is the place our daughter. We enrolled our daughter immediately when she was born so that her place will be secured. She has been in the nursery for more than 6 months now and everything proved that it was a brilliant
decision for us. She was well looked after by the key carer also the other staff in the room. Her development is reported by APP and parent meetings; either going or picking up, she is always happy. She also bonds with the staff. Both my husband and I know she is in safe hands while we are working. We both feel very lucky that Wetherby has such an outstanding nursery for our little one. We are 100% confidence to recommend this nursery to the local parents.

We have recently placed our little girl in the very capable, friendly and nurturing hands of Twinkles Wetherby. From the day we looked around we knew it was the best place to leave our daughter - the staff could not do enough for us; our key worker is fabulous with her; the activities are engaging and

Both of our children attended Twinkles in Wetherby and we could not have been happier with the care and attention they have received from the dedicated staff.
The nursery works hard to keep you up to date with information about your child's development and activities via a variety of means and with
both our children we have noticed how they developed rapidly during their time at the setting.
I would highly recommend this nursery to local parents considering where to send their child.

What an amazing, friendly, nurturing and loving setting for your children. My second child has just left the baby room and moved to rising stars. I don’t know why but I have found this tougher with my daughter than my son who’s now in top room. Maybe as I know it’s my last. It’s the hardest thing to
leave your child in someone else’s care 4 days a week but her keyworker of baby room made it a whole lot easier. The love and care given to my daughter has been amazing and to see the bond that they have grown has been so lovely. I will never forget this start to her nursery life. She really does go way above her duty along with all the staff. The activities and the fun they have each day is great. The food always smells yummy too whenever I have gone in for an early collection.
My son has developed so well here. He loves all of his key workers and the staff. He’s so happy going into nursery which makes it that little bit easier. Amazing dedicated staff.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I am a proud mother of two independent, thriving boys who have pursued their unique interests with encouragement and determination. Supporting them on their journeys has been one of my greatest joys.


Coming from a family of carers—including my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who were all in the medical field—I have always been inspired by a love for nurturing and supporting others. This led me to a fulfilling career in childcare, where I managed a nursery for over 12 years, from 2008 to 2020.


Having travelled and lived across the globe, I deeply value diversity and inclusion. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of different cultures and ways of life, which I aim to incorporate into our nursery to help children embrace the world’s diversity as they grow and learn.


My focus will always be on providing the best possible care and opportunities for our children to thrive, whatever their individual abilities may be.
