Muddy Boots Nursery (Gildersome)

His verbal and social skills have developed so quickly during his time at Kaleidoscope. I cannot rate this nursery high enough it is 5 star and more!

I have a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old attending using the 30 free hours childcare but split over 51 weeks of the year which can be hard to find. Both children have gone since the age of 1.

We got a great feel for the nursery environment, interaction of staff and happiness of the children from the moment we stepped through the door. This has been the same ever since.

The nursery staff and management communicate brilliantly with parents and grandparents. Email queries are answered promptly and we are kept well informed of changes and events at the nursery. They have parents evening where you can get a more in-depth look at your child’s development and get to taste the food menu with recipe ideas to try at home.

The key workers my children have been involved with have known them inside out, are loved by the children and they help to support routines and behaviours at home. We keep up to date with each other using an app, and it’s updated each day they attend so you can talk about their day and activities at home.

My son joined red room in January 2019 and whilst he only attends for 1 full day each week, his behaviour has already improved and his speech is now impressive. He loves attending nursery each week and has quickly settled there with the help of the terrific staff. Every time he comes home he talks about the different activities he has done with his friends. They also play outside and learn about different things at least twice per day. The food is varied and my son eats well there. The nursery was recommended by friends and in turn, I would recommend it to anyone. I will have no hesitation in sending my younger son there as well when the time comes.

We love this nursery! My son has been attending since September and absolutely loves it! All the staff are amazing and the key worker system works really well. The app used by the nursery is great to see what they've been up to during the day. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

Our baby is now a toddler and still loves nursery and his friends there, he has developed so much over the months and staff are brilliant with any special requests, I’m so glad we picked Kaleidoscope (Gildersome)!

We love that they join in with charity days allowing the children to dress up etc. We also love that they let children take a lead with their own interests. E.g a love of dinosaurs so they create a whole section on dinosaurs. Overall a wonderful nursery with polite, friendly and welcoming staff, food is amazing and I always feel my son is safe and happy whilst being there.

My little boy has been attending for about 8 months now, he absolutely loves it and it is very clear to see why!! The place is clean and inviting, the staff are nurturing and friendly, the menus are varied and delicious (even for fussy eaters!) and the activities and experiences offered are stimulating and fun! My little boy has developed so much since attending so for that, I thank you all! Knowing my little boy is happy makes nursery drop-offs less traumatic for mummy.

For environmental reasons, I choose to use cloth nappies rather than disposables and all the staff have completely supported me in this which has meant a lot to me. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to others.

This is my second child at this nursery! I knew straight away that I wanted my daughter to come to the same nursery as her big brother. My daughter has been going since she turned one and she has settled in so well. Everyone made her feel so welcome and looked after. I can’t thank the staff enough for their loving care towards her. She absolutely loves going to nursery and it is evident from the smiles we get when we pick her up! Keep up the fabulous work Gildersome Kaleidoscope Nursery and thank you!

My eldest son attended here for nearly 3 years before moving to primary school and now my youngest son has been here over a year. It’s a fab nursery by far the best in the area the staff are so nice and always go above and beyond for your children.

My son has been going to Kaleidoscope in Gildersome for 9 months and he loves it, the girls spend so much time with the children and my son has come on leaps and bounds, he's always so excited to go which makes it much easier leaving him all day whilst I go to work. The girls are really good at keeping me and his dad up to date, sharing what he's been up to on the parent app which is great to see. My son can be a handful (typical boisterous boy) and the girls are so good with him and do a fab job! Would recommend Kaleidoscope Gildersome to everyone.

I wouldn't take my boys to any other nursery but this one, the staff are amazing they are friendly and welcoming and very nurturing towards to the children, the food smells and looks amazing every day, they ensure the children are happy and content. I love this nursery and will be sad when my son leaves in September to go to full-time school.

The nursery provides a consistent staff team. Our son is always happy to be there. Communication with the nursery is very good and we have a good relationship with the staff. They always provide lots of new and interesting activities including trips to new places. There is lots of outdoor play and walks out in the local community.

My son thoroughly enjoys attending nursery. The staff are all welcoming and approachable. There are lots of different play areas where the children can explore and learn.

Friendly, welcoming. The daily schedule seems varied which is good for stimulation. Also, helps kids of all personalities interact and learn. Approachable staff and always eager to help.
