Dolphins is a fabulous nursery I spent an awfully long time researching nurseries for my first child who is now aged 9! I sent my second son now age 7! and now my third who is 2 and half! The staff are very caring and fun and extremely good at taking care of the children. My sons all learned so much and had so much fun at nursery they see it as a home from home and loved the staff.

We are really happy with our decision to send our son to Dolphins. He is always greeted with a smile and all staff are very caring and friendly. He loves his key carer who genuinely cares about his needs and development. She regularly suggests activities which she thinks he will have a personal interest in - at home and at nursery - and is quick to follow up on her suggestions. Our son is very happy and confident having been at this nursery for over 7 months.

Our child has been attending Dolphins for about a year and a half now and she absolutely loves it. The staff are great by really getting to know your child making it easy for her to settle in. My child is currently in the toddler room which has just been redecorated and is full of stuff to keep my little girl busy. The outdoor area is great as well and staff are always encouraging outdoor play in all weathers which is great. I would highly recommend Dolphins to anyone.

My daughter has been at Dolphins since she was 11 months old and now spent time in all three of the rooms. We chose Dolphins because of the setting and the lovely warm feeling we got from the staff when we visited. Since her first day, she has loved Dolphins and become really close to the other children and key workers. As she goes four days a week, it was really important to us that she was in a loving environment as well as a stimulating one-and we found this with Dolphins. Not only do we know the staff care about her development, they care about her personality and emotionally. Throughout each room, she has had a brilliant combination of activities, free play, cuddles and boundaries set that have been a great benefit to her. Childcare is one of the greatest stresses of being a working parent, but I'm so glad we chose Dolphins and am confident our second daughter will be as happy there.

My nearly 3 year old loves Dolphins - and my husband and I love Dolphins.

We love taking him there every morning & enjoying the woodland by the nursery as we walk down the path.

He loves the warm, kind, enthusiastic staff - a feature of every age group's room at Dolphins. He has adventures every single day.. from emergency rescues in the garden to storytelling inside, he is entertained all day and comes home tired with lots of things to tell us.

If we're lucky enough to have another child one day, they will definitely be going to Dolphins too.

Lovely caring nursery. My daughter is very happy there. Key workers have always been very interested and caring. They do lots of creative ideas and activities. They keep me updated using tapestry to share photographs, ideas and development which I really appreciate. The manager is full of enthusiasm for making the nursery a stimulating and happy place for children. The meal choices are excellent and offer double portions as appropriate. The outdoor area is accessed using their own provided waterproof clothing.

Dolphins is wonderful! My son loves it there and has developed so quickly. The activities look excellent and the staff are always friendly and informative. It's great to see photos and videos of the kids having fun and learning. I highly recommend it!

Dolphins allows my child to participate in a wide range of activities which he loves.

The staff are dedicated and regularly give up their own time to plan/prepare activities and rooms.

A recently introduced parents group allows feedback and suggestions and although only one meeting has taken place so far changes were suggested, accepted and implemented.

My two children have loved their time at Dolphin's and it has made it easier for me to go back to work knowing they are happy and looked after in such a lovely environment.

The outdoor space is enjoyed by all and the staff are very caring and responsive to the children's interests. The online learning journal is great for showing what the children have learnt and helps with the conversations on an evening about what the children have been doing!

The staff have always responded helpfully to and concerns, queries and suggestions and have recently made positive moves to increase parental engagement in all aspects of nursery life.

I have had both my children at Dolphins over the last 4 years. It is a lovely set up and would recommend to anyone. They both had great keyworkers and enjoyed going. They have plenty of outside play and do a wide range of activities. The Manager is doing a really good job of getting parents more involved and improving the spaces for more inventive play.

We have been using Dolphins for our 3 children since 2008 and have always been extremely happy with the level of care the staff have given to our children. The quality of learning throughout the nursery has always been exceptionally good especially in the pre-school room getting them prepared to start school. We are always kept up to date with our child's progress using Tapestry the online learning journal and love seeing what they have been up to that day. They have an amazing natural outdoor play area where our little girl loves making the occasional mud pie!! I would highly recommend Dolphins to anyone looking for a nursery in the Horsforth area.

The staff are amazing. Friendly helpful and caring. My daughter loves being in the nursery and is always mentioning everyone there.

She learns so much too. Picking up lots of new words and songs.

The atmosphere when you walk in is brilliant. Couldn't wish for a better nursery for her.
