We are thrilled with the care our child receives at Busy Bees at Colton Mill, since starting in June 2018, she has progressed well, with social skills, eating and speech - I love receiving pictures and reports of her undertaking a range of activities. She particularly enjoys one creative and cookery activities. I would highly recommend the nursery to others.
I have two children at the nursery and I have been impressed with the care and the learning they have received.
I would recommend this setting to others.
My child has been attending Busy Bees, Leeds since August 2015. We have experienced nothing but good since the first settling sessions. Our daughter has become confident in social circles, is confident within herself and has a determination to succeed, all because, we believe, her time at nursery. Could not ask for better care whilst we have to go to work.
Both my children’s development are coming on amazingly well and the staff are great at keeping me in the loop with what they are doing and what is the next goal.
They are served food that is better than I could eat myself, with such a varied diet and some amazing dishes that are all freshly cooked on site.
I really couldn’t ask for a better Nursery and a better team of people to help turn my children into the amazing characters that they are.
Plenty of toys and activities to keep children interested.
A large outdoor play area with a good selection of outdoor toys.
The staff are approachable, warm and caring.
They form lovely relationships with the children.
Any parental concerns are addressed quickly and without a fuss.
I have been really pleased with the progress my children have made in this caring environment.
My little boy joined in September 2016 and he loves going to nursery. The staff ar so welcoming and friendly and from the first day, I felt at ease in leaving my little boy.
Our daughter has been at Busy Bees since March 2015 and in that time we have seen her flourish and this is due to the attention she receives at the nursery; the range of activities she is involved in and thanks to the staff who are wholly engaged with her welfare and happiness.
We believe that we made absolutely the right choice in sending her to Busy Bees. Everything from the general atmosphere, the facilities and the food are excellent and the staff are a cohesive group and encourage values which promote fairness and respect.
Our daughter will be well-equipped to deal with the experiences which both pre-school and school will bring. This makes our lives, and hers, easier. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Busy Bees to other prospective parents.
Our nursery experience has made going/returning to work after maternity leave so much easier than we could have imagined.
Our daughter has formed an amazing bond with her key worker and we are all going to miss her very much when our daughter moves up to the next class next week.
Busy Bees have cared for both my children. Would never send them anywhere else. It took us years to have our children so leaving then is hard! I'm a needy mum and the team have gone out of their way to help me feel better. I did visits with my son for weeks and they let me leave him at a slow pace. I count many of the carers as friends and family! They are like an extended family for my children and you just don't get the level of care they give elsewhere.
She loves the extracurricular activities they provide; BabyBallet and Enjoy-a-ball, to such an extent that I will be continuing with them as she gets older.
If ever she has been upset, poorly or just a bit out of sorts, there is always someone there to give her a cuddle, look after her, treat her as one of their own.
I will be very sad to say goodbye to Busy Bees when inevitably she has to go to school, and I would recommend it to anyone, in a heartbeat.
Choosing a nursery is difficult, wanting to ensure your child is in safe hands, as the days are long. Busy Bees at Colton is an excellent nursery, with very caring assistants along with management/admin team. Very personable with parents gaining a good relationship. My son loves his time there, including the additional classes which visit nursery; Enjoy a ball and now Spanish, breaking up the day.
My only criticism and it's very small is the fact in summer the children during hot periods cannot be outside - I'm sure most nurseries are the same. The garden is large with great equipment for children, however, there's no shade or escape from the sun - possible investment required for the future to improve this area even more.
Would definitely recommend to other parents living in the Cross Gates and surrounding areas.
Mum; to a very happy little man who doesn't stop talking about his time at nursery
The facilities are great and my daughter receives a varied curriculum of activities that are both fun and educational and we have seen her really come on leaps and bounds since starting here. The meals provided are always varied and we never fail to hear that she has eaten everything and asked for seconds! We always look forward to hearing from both our daughter and the staff about everything they've done that day and are 100% confident that she gets the best care possible and has made so many wonderful friends!
Busy Bees is a fantastic nursery that our daughter loves attending. She runs into nursery every morning & gets on well with all of the staff who are really friendly & caring towards of all the children. There is always a great variety of quality food on a daily basis & there are lots of educational activities that she takes part in. We also love that she gets to play outside whenever possible.
