Stepping Stones Day Nursery - Gomersal

I have 2 kids currently attending Stepping Stones (baby room and pre-school room), both absolutely love coming to nursery.

The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and make you feel extremely comfortable and confident in leaving your child with them.

The range of activities they do with the kids is brilliant and keeps them engaged throughout the day. I particularly love that they take them out on trips e.g. to the park and the library.

Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone who asks.

I would be lost without this nursery! And never ever want my child to leave! So very thankful to have the best set of ladies look after and help bring my child up!

My daughter has attended stepping stones nursery from 9months old and she will soon be leaving for primary school in September.

The care she has received has been second to none, I was extremely nervous as a first time mum leaving my daughter at nursery for 2 full days a week to go back to work but I can honestly say that the staff have looked after my little girl like they would their own. She has built some amazing relationships with the staff, and the other children at nursery and she has come on in leaps and bounds in her confidence, her speech and her overall ability.

The facilities at nursery are brilliant and my daughter enjoys the structure of the day and being able to choose activities based on her interests that day.

I would highly recommend stepping stones to any parent looking for a nursery where the staff care for your children like they would their own.

The absolute best group of nursery practitioners and a wonderful setting for my son. He learns so much there and the staff pay amazing attention to all of the children's needs. We have other friends with children who are envious of all the activities our son does here and they really care about each child. I wouldn't consider any other nursery and can't recommend them enough.

I have also found the environment and structure have allowed my children to flourish and advance at an accelerated rate meaning my son was more than ready to start school.

The nursery and all the staff are absolutely fantastic, they are so calm and welcoming, especially with my little boy who struggles with us leaving him. They are brilliant with him and always reassure me he's ok and he always is. He absolutely loves going to nursery once he's there and settled and loves all the different activities they do. I really struggled with the thought of nursery but these guys have made it so much easier. Thank you.

My little boy has been coming to Stepping Stones since September and loves his days at nursery. From the initial show around to now all the staff in the nursery are welcoming and kind. All the staff in Baby Care Room are so caring and lovely and my little boy has developed great relationships with them all and is always so happy to see them. I have seen a change in my little boy by him being much more confident, developing new skills and developing his communication skills further. I feel confident, at ease and comfortable when I drop him off at nursery which makes going to work a lot easier. The nursery offers so many events for parents to be involved in which offers that extra touch of being part of your child's nursery journey. A lovely and inviting environment with engaging activities. We're so glad we chose Stepping Stones for our little boy!

My daughter has been coming to Stepping Stones Day Nursery in Gomersal since she was 9 months old. From our first visit to the nursery and since the day she started, I've felt complete confidence and comfort that she is very well looked after, eats great food, is in a clean and safe environment, with a team of the loveliest people looking after her. Her development has come on leaps and bounds since starting there. Morning drop off is a pleasure, because my daughter and I are excited for the day she will have. The communication from the nursery to parents is also fantastic and I feel very much informed about what has happened, along with future activities and events that we are told about in good time. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone. 10/10

Our daughter has attended Stepping Stones since she was just under one year old and has now been there for 2 1/2 years. She has thrived in the setting and loves the different range of activities both internally and externally to the nursery- such as visits to Tots praise, the chickens and the park. The staff are all very compassionate and caring. We love the interest the nursery pay in our child's home life which is evidenced through the family photo wall and weekend book where they update what they have been up to at home. We would highly recommend this nursery and are glad we chose it for our daughter. Our daughter was very happy with the new outdoor activity equipment this year and loves spending lots of time outdoors

So glad I decided on this nursery for my little one, the staff are amazing, their communication is second to none, they have helped my little one thrive, they have helped him overcome some obstacles and have been extremely patient and supportive. Would ten out of ten recommend it to anyone looking for a good structured nursery that listens to your child's individual needs and who helps them prepare to be the best they can be.

All the staff at the nursery are amazing from babies all the way to preschool. They built up my son’s confidence and language so quickly. He was not walking or talking much when he started and they helped him along so much. They have such amazing bonds with the kids so much that my son wanted to invite his favourite to his birthday party! They see the kid's interests and work with that to build the kids' learning and it’s so fantastic. My son just had 2 weeks off and asked me daily when he could go back as he loves it so much. If you're looking for a nursery to send your child to I definitely recommend Stepping Stones Gomersal!

My daughter attended this nursery 4 years ago and so when I had my son it was the first place to revisit when thinking about childcare. The staff provide you with confidence that your child is being looked after by warm and caring individuals, almost like they are extended family. Children are provided with lots of opportunities to explore learning through play which is fun and interactive and grow in independence too. Staff work with parents to support the changes in development that the children go through. My son absolutely loves attending nursery which makes me as a parent feel happier knowing he is safe, cared for and having fun whilst we’re at work.

From September 2023 my son has been attending Stepping Stones and from visiting to see the nursery I knew it was the one. The staff were so welcoming and being able to speak to the manager straight away was a big bonus. My son had previously struggled with change, but not at Stepping Stones. It’s like home from home for us and that makes me feel at ease. He’s encouraged to do things that he loves and learning is developed around that and he’s supported to be the best he can be. Massive thank you.

My son just about to leave Stepping Stones to go to school and my eldest son also attended here from being twelve months old to leaving school. The staff at Stepping Stones are the absolute best, they love and care for all the children and it really shows. Both my boys have had so much fun there, the staff keep us informed of activities done that day and meals they’ve had. The staff go above and beyond taking the children out on local visits and fun nursery trips. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I've had two children that have both attended Stepping Stones, one leaving in 2021 and the youngest just leaving in 2023. Staff have always been welcoming and friendly and have always been encouraging and supportive in both children's interests and abilities. Both children have always enjoyed their time at nursery and still fondly talk about their time at nursery.

Stepping Stones is such a wonderful nursery and has made my return to work so much easier knowing that my child is cared for so well. They create a nurturing and fun environment and really care about each child. This is my third child who has attended Stepping Stones and each time I have been thrilled with the care they have received.

My daughter has been going since she was 9 months old (now nearly 3) and my youngest started at 8 months (now 11 months). Both children have loved the nursery and are happy to go over to the lovely staff members who greet them each morning. There is a real mix of experience and personalities within the staff and I think this really helps the children feel at home. I like the responsibility they allow the children to take from a young age and feel the daily roles and routines really help their development. The daily play activities are varied and engaging for the children, I think the outdoors activities such as climbing and balancing really help their physical development. I really appreciate that families are invited into the nursery for play and stays and special events such as Christmas and the sports day, and I think the children really value this too.

Our daughter has been attending the nursery for two and one-twelfth years and has come on leaps and bounds. She thoroughly enjoys going to nursery so much it’s hard to get her to leave. She has so much love for the staff, who in turn also care for her needs. We couldn’t ask for a better place for our daughter and her Henry bear.
