Treetops Day Nursery

Our daughter went to Treetops Day Nursery from 10 months old, right up until pre-school. She really enjoyed her time there and made some lovely friends. The staff and her keyworkers were great and staff were very adaptable to any changes we needed to make, sometimes with short notice. I highly recommend Treetops.

We feel comfortable with all of the staff and appreciate all the work they do.

Our time at Treetops Day Nursery has been truly amazing. The staff's dedication, the stimulating environment, and individualized attention have created a nurturing and educational experience for our child. Leaving is bittersweet, but we are grateful for the exceptional foundation provided here. Highly recommended

I never hesitate in recommending Treetops to other parents, a fantastic nursery.

Our daughter has loved attending Treetops Day Nursery since she was ten months old and her development and speech have come on so quickly since moving to the rainbow room. Her key worker knows her really well and we feel assured that she is safe and happy there.

Both my children have attended this setting and benefitted from the caring and nurturing environment. The staff are warm and understand the needs of my daughter. Even those who don’t work regularly in her room seem to know her individually. The range of activities is stimulating and engaging and both my kids have always enjoyed their nursery days. Communication with management is good - emails are promptly answered and they try to be flexible where possible.

They always keep us up to date via email and communication is great.

My daughters have both been using Treetops Day Nursery services and they are both happy and have been learning a lot of things every single day. My eldest daughter has the most amazing teacher and she loves her.

He's always had a busy day exploring and learning! Enjoys all his meals, which are made fresh daily. Plenty of outdoor areas for all ages as well as indoor, just a lovely atmosphere!

Brilliant nursery - staff are fantastic and care deeply about the children. Both my daughters have thrived here, all because of staff commitment. They have also been extremely flexible and accommodating to changeable hours. I recommend Treetops Day Nursery to any parents.

My daughter used to go to a smaller branch of Cornerstone before it closed down and was very happy there. She was very little at that time but I could tell she was happy and learnt a lot of new things, staff were amazing too, always smiling and engaging with children. Most of young years practitioners moved to Treetops, but unfortunately I haven't seen their faces as happy as before, neither my daughter's. From week one she showed me that she didn't want to go to nursery but I was dismissive as I thought she needed some time to adapt. Time passed, but she still was refusing to go in the mornings, her behaviour changed to worse with throwing things, and kicking, I haven't noticed new developments either. Managerial side wasn't very approachable, it was difficult to get swap days, had lack of communication in regards to illnesses and attendances, emails were not answered until I spoke to them personally. It felt more that it was not a nursery, but a strict bureaucratic estate.

All the staff are really friendly and are really attentive to my son's needs. They provide a personalised handover at the end of his day in nursery. His days are filled with a variety of activities and he enjoys telling me about his days in the nursery.

My daughter has recently left Treetops in preparation for starting Reception. The support, guidance and care she has received from Treetops has been second-to-none; she is, without doubt, more confident socially and in her learning as a result of attending here. The staff are kind and generous with their time, for the children and parents, and nothing is too much trouble. They provide a safe, engaging and exciting environment and, despite the challenges facing Education of late, remain optimistic and driven to help every child achieve their potential and more. The facilities are airy, well maintained and varied in their opportunities for play-based learning; the indoor play and Forest Garden have been particular favourites but the classrooms and other play spaces are equally inviting. External providers are also well used. I will be forever grateful to Treetops for the foundation that they had given my daughter in preparation for “big school” and the wider world. Thank you.

My little boy has been so happy here, ever since he started in toddlers in June 2020. He's now in pre-school and asks me if he can go to nursery even on the days he doesn't usually go! He clearly has a wonderful time there, has made loads of friends, is very happy and well cared for. The outside space is wonderful, particularly the forest garden and he has a great time in the mud kitchen! Staff seem very caring and approachable and management is very responsive and accommodating. I'm not sure about equipment as we've only recently been allowed back in since Covid but there seems to be a wide array of toys and games. In terms of school preparation, I think this programme is developing and some more phonics activities are starting soon. The decor overall may be tiring a little but the most important thing for me is how happy and well cared for he is.

I just wanted to write a review to thank all the staff who have made my son's transition up to pre-school so smooth. He took a long time to settle into nursery and therefore we were a bit concerned about how he would cope with this transition, however, he has been really happy since moving up and always has a story to tell when he gets home about what fun activities he has been doing and what he's learnt. His keyworker has been fantastic with the transition, always taking the time to hand things over, and most importantly really taking an interest in my son and his ways, telling me daily all the funny things he has been up to. He also tells me daily how much he likes his keyworker! Thanks for all the hard work you do, no matter how hard things have got over covid, you have always been so flexible and I have no concerns at all about the care my son gets at Treetops.

After a bad experience somewhere else, we were pretty nervous about our little one starting but he’s settled in brilliantly thanks to the amazing staff and nurturing environment. Everyone has been both friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend it!

Having sent my child to this nursery, I can honestly say that I would not recommend that any parent consider sending their children here. The staff do not care about their job. They are dismissive, rude, and at times aggressive. It was a difficult decision to remove our child from this nursery as he found it very difficult to settle in. However, we felt we were left with no choice as we had no faith that his well-being would be put first given the attitude of the staff.

The staff are very friendly and communicative about the needs and development of my child. I love how many activities she is involved in, even though she only attends for a few mornings per week. Regular parents evenings are also helpful to have a more formal check-in. My child runs into nursery in the mornings, eats well there, plays happily (apparently she has a group who chatter together) and then comes home ready for more fun.
