Pre-School Centre

We are very happy with the process my son is making at the nursery.

I cannot recommend this centre highly enough - it and the staff are fabulous.

Have sent all three children here. Very caring staff. My older children still speak fondly of their time there and love going back to visit their Key Workers. Lovely activities and nice use of wider university grounds to take children on walks.

This is the most fantastic, well organised, well run and friendly nursery I've ever come across and I am delighted that my daughter will be starting soon. All the staff are extremely helpful and approachable and have always been willing to discuss any concerns in a kind, caring manner. Our son has thrived under their care and had such a high quality and happy early years experience. Thank you!

Love this nursery the staff made me and my daughter feel relaxed and at ease at such a big time with her starting nursery the staff go above and beyond. My daughter has only been going for a little while and she loves it.

Choosing a nursery for your child is such a big decision. The Pre-School Centre University of Cumbria ticked all the boxes and more. They have such a dedicated and committed staff and management and the care and support they give your child is exceptional. My little boy went from 7 months old and how we watched him grow all thanks to the wonderful staff. What a fantastic nursery in every way.

My little boy has just started at the University of Cumbria Pre-School Centre this month and already we both love it. The staff have been amazing. The communication of what he has done through the day, changes, food he’s eaten, naps taken, and activities. The Facebook page replies quickly to any queries/questions and the staff are so easily contacted via email, not just by phone. Plenty of settling in sessions were offered to allow a smooth transition and my little boy already loves his key worker.

Fabulous preschool and amazing staff! Great facilities and love the outdoor forest school. My little boy has flourished here. My one year old is starting in the nursery from September and I know he’s in the best hands! Have recommended to friends and would to anyone!

My son has been at this Pre-School since he was 12 months old. He is now in his last 2 weeks before his big step to primary school. In each setting all the staff have been amazing. They generally care for your children and want to be a key part of their development. We will really miss going to the University of Cumbria Pre-School Centre.

The University of Cumbria Pre-School Centre have been caring for my two boys ever since 2016. Both joined part time when they were just 1 year old when my maternity leave finished for each. Each kiddy started in the baby room, progressing up to 2-3 room until finally 3-4 room. In every room setting, in every way, all the wonderful staff have all cared for and nurtured my baby boys with a smile. Which I’m sure is challenging but they excel at it. That’s six years we have been working with the Pre-School Centre and now, as the youngest is just about to start primary school, I’m honestly so sad to be not needing their service anymore and on his last day, there will be a lump in my throat! I couldn’t have wished for a better early years setting and you will not find better in Lancaster.
