Playdor Nursery School Burnley

The nursery has helped my girl grow so much, attended to her needs and was very patient with her behaviour issues. The staff are very welcoming and kind and caring. They are great at safeguarding all the children. All in all it is such a great place to send your children.

Please do consider this setting for your child/children as it’s truly amazing.

Lovely nursery, staff are very welcoming and make my son feel looked after. This is the only nursery where I’ve managed to get my son to settle into. The staff go above and beyond for the children. My son has made some amazing bonds with members of the staff in preschool room. He’ll be sad to leave!

Can't wait for my son to start soon!

My little one has flourished since being at Playdor Nursery School Burnley, her confidence has grown, her speech and development have come on so much and she skips into nursery each morning with so much excitement. The staff are amazing, we are always met with a friendly smile and nothing is ever to much to ask. We definitely made the right decision choosing Playdor and we will recommend them to anybody!

My son is currently in the Baby Room where he has been since he was ten months old. Whilst being in this room, he has come on leaps and bounds. He has gained more confidence, learnt to crawl, eat and drink independently as well as many other development milestones. This is thanks to the help and support of the staff working in the baby room.

Playdor Nursery goes above and beyond. I couldn’t thank them enough. They have made us feel so welcome and my little boy settled into the nursery so quickly. Every morning you are greeted with smiling faces. The atmosphere is happy. All the staff are extremely caring and always go the extra mile. My little boy has learned a lot, developed plenty of friendships and turned into the most caring and polite young boy. The admin team are always supportive. I would recommend this nursery.

My little boy attends Playdor Burnley. He is autistic and had developmental delays. The staff at the nursery have been absolutely amazing, he loves attending. They are so inclusive and have a sensory room set up for when he needs time out. The staff in his room show genuine emotions when he says a new word or one of their names. It is amazing to see the relationship he has developed with them. They have helped so much with gaining his EHCP and have been supportive of all of his needs. I was apprehensive about sending him to nursery, but made the right choice with Playdor. We will miss it so much when he leaves.

You get everything included apart from nappies which is a little hard work remembering to take some/keeping nursery stocked up.

Fantastic Nursery! My son has been attending this nursery since 9 months old and I cannot fault anything. All the staff are incredibly friendly and are always available to help you if you need anything. My son has thrived at this nursery his speech and vocabulary are exceptional for his age and he absolutely loves attending. The staff plan a huge variety of activities for the children and my son can’t wait to tell me when he comes home. When you collect your child all the staff are up to date with what they have eaten that day, the last nappy change and how long of a nap they have had which is really useful. I would recommend this nursery to anyone and my second child will definitely be attending here.

My daughter started at Playdor Nursery School in Burnley 3 months ago in the baby room and so far the whole experience has been amazing! The staff in the baby room are so helpful and genuinely caring. Although a little upset when she first started, after 2 weeks my daughter was fully settled and absolutely loves going to nursery. It’s so amazing to see her face light up when we arrive in the morning and she is handed over to one of the ladies. When looking for a suitable nursery I found it difficult to find one which accommodates shift workers who require availability in a nursery different days each week. Playdor have been so accommodating and flexible! I am so glad I found Playdor Burnley and look forward to continue watching my daughter grow and develop there. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing nursery! We were looking for the best one for our boy and we are so happy that we have found Playdor Nursery School. Staff is always smiling and the atmosphere in there is always warm and welcoming. Our boy has overcome being shy and he absolutely loves going to his group now which is Little Tods. I can fully recommend this nursery! Very very deserved for the highest grade.

Me and my daughter absolutely love Playdor Nursery School.. they're so accommodating in every way. Staff are so caring and passionate it really shows. My little one has developed so much since she first went here, I truly couldn't recommend or thank them enough. The variety of activities they do, the food they eat, the social skills they learn as well as the environment itself is truly exceptional!

My grandchild loves nursery she has attended since she was a baby and at nearly 3 years old still runs into nursery each day, the staff are amazing so helpful and friendly and always willing to listen, I get great feedback at the end of each day as to what she has eaten, if had a sleep etc, it’s a wonderful nursery 10/10 for us.

Amazing nursery. The staff are really friendly and nice. My daughter loves it there. They tell you what your child has been doing on that day, what they had for dinner and how much they have eaten. At the moment they are getting my daughter ready for school which I think is a brilliant idea to give them a head start.

It's a really brilliant nursery and as parents, it's the best feeling to know your child is happy and our son really is!

Gave my daughter from 9 months onwards and it has been the best decision for her development. They bring out the creative side in children as well as prepare them for primary school. Management are very accommodating to parents work times. Have a great range of foods and cater for all cultures and religions. Have great indoor and outdoor facilities. Very safe and secure systems are in place. Staff are well trained and explain thoroughly what the child has eaten and done throughout the day. Playdor also gives chances to young adults to learn and progress. We definitely recommend this preschool and worth every penny. Keep it up.

After comparing many different nurseries in the local area, I would highly recommend this nursery to all mothers looking for an excellent nursery. It did have another name but has been taken over recently by Playdor hence the reviews are less. From my first telephone call to viewing the nursery with my child and husband, I was very pleased throughout the whole process, as this can be very stressful and hard for first-time parents and someone like myself. Very well done and keep it up to all staff, my child has been attending for a month now and he is very happy he has lovely hand-cooked dinners by the chef on-site and the staff are excellent with updates and I could not fault them in anything. Very pleased, thank you for all your hard work.

Good facilities for the children, variety of food, halal too. Friendly staff, good play areas outside, convenient distant wise and time wise for work. Will probably come back next year with my new baby.
