Evergreen Early Years - Ladyewell is set in the semi-rural heart of Fulwood, with close links to both Longridge and Grimsargh. With stunning views of the countryside, it offers beautiful areas for the children to explore and go on walks.

Ladyewell has two rooms for children aged 0-2 with their own specific outdoor space to play. Children aged 2-4 have the use of a large open room and landscaped outdoor play area, with allotment patches, climbing equipment and plenty of space to explore. There are also many other smaller spaces for quiet time, like the snug and the sensory room, to help support children's well being and self regulation. Settings are designed to feel like a home from home, whilst also providing the very best care and education for all children.

Evergreen is family run and prides itself on always striving for excellence in its approach to early years education, which in turn positively influences children's daily lives and prepares them for school and their life ahead.

The team has a strong set of core values and principles that they have developed as the ‘Evergreen Way’ and these are fully embedded and drive all that they do at Evergreen. The main aim always being that Evergreen wants all children to be happy, confident and believe they can achieve their potential.

Evergreen enriches the lives of children to laugh, learn, love and grow.

Evergreen is a fantastic nursery. My little boy only attends one day a week, but they still treat him in the same manner as all others. He was one of the first to attend there and was given amazing care and attention from the beginning. We are always kept in the loop with his development by using the
app. The team listen to his needs and adapts accordingly (especially food related). We couldn't be any happier. My son loves it, and we appreciate the effort the team put in with both activities, communication and additional events for parents to join in - I especially enjoyed my Mothers' Day take-home bag from an event I couldn't attend. They think of everything!

This nursery has been such an incredible addition to our weekly lives. It is an amazing setting. Fantastic staff. Efficient organisation. My twins love going to nursery. The outside space is very large and very well-kept. And the cleanliness and space internally are exemplary.

After looking at many nurseries in the area I am glad we came to the newly opened Evergreen Ladyewell setting. My little girl has been attending Evergreen since June and I have never felt so at ease. The staff are really caring and friendly and I am always excited to hear about her day. They do a wide
range of activities with her and keep us up to date with pictures on the app. The nursery like to take the children in their spacious garden and also go for walks to the shrine. The nursery building is always really clean and the grounds are well kept. It is an all round beautiful setting in a lovely location and I would highly recommend it to all.

I could not be happier with Evergreen Nursery. I moved my daughter a few months ago from a previous nursery due to not settling in and Evergreen were fantastic. Reassuring, welcoming and regularly kept me up to date with how she was getting on. My daughter now goes to nursery smiling and excited. She
loves it there! All the staff are really nice and friendly. They put a lot of effort into making days different for the children and doing a variety of activities. The outdoor space is fantastic and the set-up inside equally as good. Highly recommend this nursery.

Current Review Score: 9.3 (9.278)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.3 (9.278) out of 10 for Evergreen Early Years - Ladyewell is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.953 for Evergreen Early Years - Ladyewell is calculated as follows: ( (102 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 106 Ratings = 4.953
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.325 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Evergreen Early Years - Ladyewell is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 3.7
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 72 number of registered child places is 14.4. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 14.4 = 0.625
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
