Kids Planet Padiham, conveniently situated in Burnley, offers full time and sessional day care, opening from 7:30am - 6pm each weekday.

The nursery team are qualified and passionate about delivering high quality care to all children. Working hard to promote children's independence, confidence and enjoyment for each day, the nursery offers an environment that is inclusive, safe and consistent with a wide range of resources and activities to spark their interests.

The team work closely with families and provide regular updates on children's time at the nursery, giving peace of mind that you never miss a key milestone or achievement.

My big little man has been attending Kids Planet Padiham since he was 11 months old. These ladies go above and beyond with him every day he attends.
My son has additional needs, and he is cared for and loved as much at Kids Planet as he is at home.
These ladies and gents do all they can to aid him
in learning, to keep him engaged and happy and to develop his skills in a way he can understand.
They do their best, and I would never ask for more.

I can't rate Kinderbear Nursery highly enough! My daughter has been going now for over 3 years and loves it so much. Right from the start, the staff were incredible - putting our minds at rest as we were very anxious leaving our precious girl - but nothing was ever too much. I could ring several times
to check on her and each time they put my mind at ease and took the time to tell me what she was doing and how settled she was. She has come out of her shell since being quite a shy little girl when she first started going, now we can't stop her talking and her confidence has grown dramatically! She loves to tell us about her day and what she has been getting up to at Kinderbear. Not once has my daughter ever said she didn't want to go to Kinderbear, and that I think is the best review a nursery/preschool could receive. If my daughter is happy then I am happy! They are all amazing! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

My girls have gone to this nursery since they were 10 months old! (They turn 5 in September). They both absolutely love going to nursery I know they both feel very sad about leaving soon as do I. The staff have always been amazing and we will all feel incredibly sad when they finish. Thank you for the

My daughter started in 2021, when she first attended all she would do is sit in a corner by herself, play alone and sleep in the corner on her own. Due to a previous childminder, she didn't have a great start, she was anxious and sad all the time. Since starting at Kinderbear Nursery, over the past
year or so, she has such a funny and outgoing personality. She was massively behind with her talking, now she counts to 10 and says her ABCs (somewhat questionable) knows all the animals and their sounds. The girls are fab and I can't thank them enough for neutering my tiny human and bringing her so far away from the sad, distant baby she was. I honestly appreciate and love you all so much. Xx

My little man has been there since he was around 10 months old due to being so clingy. The fantastic staff have done an amazing job with him and shown him it is ok to go to nursery. He has come out of his shell and come on so much. Thank you so much.

My daughter started in September 2020 in the 2's room and is now coming to the end of her Kinderbear journey. The whole nursery is outstanding and the staff and management are friendly, caring and professional - it's like being part of a big family. They've always been a great support to me and a big

Kinderbear Nursery are amazing! I have been using them for 10 years, with my youngest still there! They have a great environment and wouldn’t send my children anywhere else!

An excellent nursery, brilliant facilities and friendly, loving staff. My two children both attended from 6 months old right up until they started school and they have so many fond memories. My daughter who left nursery two years ago still talks about the “ladies” there and asks if she can go back just
for a day! My son who attends currently is excited for nursery every day and comes home exhausted (which is a good thing!) and full of stories from the day. Lots of special fun days and dress-up days which he always looks forwards to. Pirate day was a huge hit with him and he looked forward to it for weeks! The staff always have the children's best interests at heart and are really accommodating towards working parents. The pre-school side of the nursery is also excellent and my daughter was familiar with her phonics and numbers before she started school because of the lessons she had as part of her pre-school group. I couldn’t have asked for a better start for my little ones.

Kinderbear is a fantastic nursery, all my four children have thrived and still are with the help of the brilliant staff. My first child started in 2011 and I’ve never had any concerns, I have two children still in the nursery and they love going every day. I would highly recommend them.

My son has been at Kinderbear for 7 months now and absolutely loves it! The staff go above and beyond and always update the parent app with things that they’re getting up to. Kinderbear care for my son as their own, I wouldn’t send him anywhere else.

The staff are amazing. The nursery's most valuable resource. They always put the children at the heart of what they do. My daughter has thrived at the nursery and she never wants to miss a day. Communication with parents is excellent about what the children are learning and their next steps in learning.
The food menu is wonderful and my child has enjoyed healthy and balanced meals and snacks every day. My child has made progress in all areas and I would highly recommend Kinderbear to other parents.

My children started part time and the nursery was great in starting them within a week, then they went full time and they absolutely love it always dropping them off and picking them up smiling. Staff are great and always a happy great communication with parents and children. They helped me and my daughter
when she had a diary allergy.
Very good at the activities we do at home and putting it in their journals. Highly recommended.

Lindsay Wilkins

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2004

Lindsay Wilkins is the nursery manager of Padiham. Lindsay has been a part of the nursery since 2004, where she started as a nursery practitioner and progressed within the setting becoming the nursery manager in January 2013. She is passionate about providing innovative experiences for the children in her care, together with an enthusiastic team of skilled practitioners.
