Kids Planet Padiham, conveniently situated in Burnley, offers full time and sessional day care, opening from 7:30am - 6pm each weekday.

The nursery team are qualified and passionate about delivering high quality care to all children. Working hard to promote children's independence, confidence and enjoyment for each day, the nursery offers an environment that is inclusive, safe and consistent with a wide range of resources and activities to spark their interests.

The team work closely with families and provide regular updates on children's time at the nursery, giving peace of mind that you never miss a key milestone or achievement.

The staff have been wonderful since we started bringing our daughter in 2021 - she adores the nursery and all the staff. They have done wonders for her.
There isn't a day that goes by where they haven't helped her with her learning or had some fun games etc.

Couldn't recommend this nursery enough to people! They have been absolutely amazing with my 2 children. The staff go above and beyond for the children, they talk about them with passion and can see how much they genuinely care for each child. My eldest has ASD and the staff fought in our corner to make
sure he was getting the support he needed. I will be forever grateful to all the staff members, for loving and caring the way they do.

It's a great nursery with lots of amazing staff! My little girl loves going and gets excited when it's nursery day. They have an app that keeps you updated and they get a good variety of meals. Plenty of walks to the park and the surrounding areas too, along with indoor learning and making friends.

Our family had many options for which nursery to choose for our first child. We were terrified when we came to each of them. But! Then we found Kids Planet Padiham and it was our choice. Great staff. Clean and cozy. Children are always busy. Parents are always aware of everything that is happening with

The nursery has been incredible on my daughter settling in. As she is my first child I was scared, nervous and apprehensive of leaving her at nursery. They were so supportive of me and her throughout the full process and always made time to reassure me and give me updates on her settling in. She struggled
for a couple of sessions and after a week was so happy to be going and was content in being left. I couldn't speak highly enough of Kids Planet!

My little boy loves coming to the nursery. I have used the nursery before for my little girl who also thought it was fantastic. All the staff are lovely and make it fun for the children. I would highly recommend to others.

Fantastic people fantastic place to take your child. All the ladies take care of my boy and put all the children's welfare before anything else. They send out newsletters to keep you up to date with everything that's going on. Brilliant.

Love the staff. Always friendly and you can tell they love all the children they look after. They are always ready to offer advice, happy to see the kids whenever you bring them in. They are amazing at teaching the kids what they need to know/learn.

I absolutely love this place. From day one we have been welcomed as if we have been there from day one. My little one loves every single member of staff and they all treat her like their own! They have been so understanding in regards to finances as well and helped create a suitable, affordable plan
to keep our little playing with her friends. Would 100% recommend it!

My child loves his nursery. The staff are so professional and very caring for all children. The love and care they provide on a daily basis are naturally visible to all parents. My child loves to attend there, and each day there is an adventure and great activities. I can check on the app, what my child
is doing, what meal was cooked and what kind of activities my child participated in.

Positive interactions. Son started at the beginning of September, the staff made sure he was comfortable and at ease via settling-in sessions and positive interactions. I know everything he's doing and what he's eating, making home life a smoother transition.

My little boy has had the most amazing time at Kids Planet Nursery. He has really grown and developed thanks to all the staff's help and support. They have assisted in meeting all his SEN and medical needs. There is a good range of activities every day and resources and plenty of opportunities to explore
the local community. Pre-school really helps prepare the children as well for primary school and the transition period. The management staff go above and beyond, they have the children's best interest at heart and really care about the children. I can't fault Kids Planet Nursery at all.

Amazing nursery. My two youngest children have attended here, starting from another nursery before changing to Kids Planet. The staff treat my children like their own, made them feel at ease and was there whenever needed. My little girl has two weeks remaining before she starts primary school. I would

My daughter joined Kids Planet after we moved to Padiham. She's been going now for over a year and I can't fault it one bit. I love how they update me all day with everything my daughter does and how she is progressing each month and what they are working towards with her. She loves going so when my
other daughter joined as a baby I felt very reassured and comfortable knowing she would be very looked after. My youngest also has a dairy allergy which they have accommodated for with no issues at all. They are also really supportive with things like potty training. The staff are so loving and friendly and I can tell both my children really love both their key workers and all the other staff in their room. I highly recommend this nursery to all my friends and family.

I cannot rate Padiham Kids Planet enough. My son is in the toddler's room and I was very very nervous about him going to nursery however, the girls were amazing, really put me at ease and they invest so much in my son and his development. No question is ever too much for them. They are always trying
to come up with new ideas to help my son with his talking/noise-making. My son loves nursery. He goes in with a smile and a wave for every session.

My daughter has been with Kids Planet Padiham since August 2021, and I have not a bad thing to say about the place or the girls! They all work amazing together - from dropping my child off to picking her up, the friendliest faces and nicest people! To watch my daughter run into nursery every day with
such excitement is someone any parent would want for their child! She has had the best education with them so far and I'm sure when she leaves next year she will surely miss you all - thank you all girlies, your all superhumans.

Just wanted to say I can't recommend this nursery enough - definitely the best one in the area. They have taken care of my son and daughter since she was three months old. All the equipment is age-appropriate, and they even have activities for a range of age groups to be involved with, for example,
they also get my 6-month-old involved with the activities my almost 2-year-old is taking part in. This nursery also has an outdoor space where they put your child in waterproofs to protect their clothing and get to experience outdoor play at all ages.
They get freshly made meals that are very nutritional these kids get fed better than me! They are great with communication and you get pictures and updates through the app, which is really helpful. All the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. I have full faith and trust in all the staff at this nursery that my kids getting the best possible care whilst I'm working. My son constantly asks if he can go to nursery - he loves it!

We have had the most amazing settling-in experience over the last two months. Our little boy started full-time at Kids Planet at 9 months old. From the settling-in sessions and through the first week they were so supportive. Their communications are great and we love the app for keeping us up to date
on what he's up to! The nursery has a lovely family feel to it and the staff are so caring and maternal with him. After six weeks he's really settled and happy. I'm so glad we chose Kids Planet Padiham! Thank you to all the staff in the babies and tot room.

Lindsay Wilkins

Lindsay Wilkins is the nursery manager of Padiham. Lindsay has been a part of the nursery since 2004, where she started as a nursery practitioner and progressed within the setting becoming the nursery manager in January 2013. She is passionate about providing innovative experiences for the children in her care, together with an enthusiastic team of skilled practitioners.
