My child has significantly matured in all areas of child development. The curriculum provides a wide range of activities from forest school to dancing. Strong values are instilled in the pupils from nursery and there is a culture of respect and togetherness.

This place is worth every penny!

I could not be more delighted with how our daughter has settled and is progressing at Highfield Priory Nursery and School, Preston. She is so happy at nursery, looks forward to going every day and has created lovely relationships with the staff and the other children.

Our daughter is able to follow her interests while being guided to develop skills. In particular, her vocabulary has come on incredibly and her interest in reading and development of early phonics is wonderful.

The activities the children do (forest school, weekly library visits, dancing to name but a few) have developed her confidence and love of the outdoors.

The nursery is managed excellently and the whole team are clearly dedicated to their jobs and love working with the children.

The food the children are offered is delicious and nutritious and our daughter always asks for seconds! The staff also manage to get a very reluctant sleeper to nap each day!

I recommend this nursery to everyone!

Always a happy environment. New activities all the time. Very creative with the children. Clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Outdoor space is great for playing and learning. Very happy with the kids being there.

A fantastic nursery, with caring and excellent staff who have been looking after my son for the last year and a half. He loves going to nursery because he always has fun. I can see how my son's skills, awareness and personality have developed since joining.

My daughter has been attending Highfield Priory Nursery and School, Preston since she was eleven months old, she is now three and a half years. The nursery staff have always been fantastic with the care they provide her with and the support they offer to my partner and I. We are always very confident that she is being well looked after and cared for. My daughter settled in very quickly and it's clear to see how much she enjoys her days there. The activities offered to the children really do give them the opportunity to embrace all their senses. Receiving the 'focus week' reports with photos gives me an insight into how much fun my daughter and her friends have together. The forest school activities are by far her favourite, she loves being outside with her friends in the woods learning new skills, making dens and learning about nature. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the nursery to others. It offers fantastic opportunities for children to achieve their potential.

Highfield Priory Nursery and School, Preston is like a home from home for my two children who attend. My little boy has been there from twelve months old and is now in the preschool and he really enjoys all the activities, including p.e,dancing and Forrest school. My little girl has also attended since she was twelve months old and she’s now in nursery. She loves all the activities and learning experiences on offer, especially the messy play and splashing in the puddles with her friends. All the staff are very experienced, very friendly and make you feel super welcome. I would highly recommend Highfield Priory Nursery and School, Preston to anyone.

Excellent nursery with fantastic members of staff and brilliant facilities. My girls have always absolutely loved coming. Great 'wrap-around' care with an easy transition into preschool and school. A ten out of ten from us.

Both my daughters have attended Highfield Priory Nursery and School, Preston since they were six months old. My youngest is still going, currently five days a week and loves it. The staff are wonderfully caring and dedicated, yet honest about what kind of day the children have had. I am able to work every day knowing my daughters are cared for and stimulated to a high standard, with a wide range of activities including many outdoors and forestry types of tasks.

This is an excellent nursery. I have enrolled both of my children here and my eldest has stayed on to go to the school. Both children love it and in turn that makes me very happy and confident in my choice.

Lovely friendly nursery with a small homely feel to children’s surroundings. Friendly staff, who are flexible and accommodating with varying childcare needs. My two year old daughter loves attending and her days there are always full of varied activities.

My son first joined the nursery during the current pandemic and therefore I was a little concerned at how he would settle in as I wasn’t able to enter the building etc. However, my concerns were quickly alleviated; he loves his time at the nursery and the relationships he has formed with both the adults and children are wonderful, there’s no doubt that the staff care for the children and do their upmost to support their academic and social development. His speech has come on a great deal and I love the range of activities the children engage in from the outdoor space, to baking, art and crafts and dance lessons to name but a few. A fantastic environment and space for little ones to grow and develop.

Excellent nursery my son loved his time there before pre-school. The staff were fantastic and it was a great nurturing atmosphere for children to develop. The variety of activities both indoor and outdoor each day was fantastic! My son would run in every day.

Highfield Priory Nursery and School, Preston offers a wonderful, personal and caring environment for my child. He loves going to nursery school. Every day he comes home and says "I have fun at my school Mum" with his little group of friends. They do lots of indoors and outdoor activities and he especially enjoys their adventure walks in the woods and watching the birds. The nursery staff are professional and are so supportive with his development - he started nursery when he was nine months and is now three years old. My child is confident and expressive.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 2. The nursery has been fantastic, and she absolutely loves it. I can’t fault anything, she loves the teachers and all the activities on offer. I only wish I had sent her sooner.

My son first started Highfield at 6 months old ... I was so worried leaving him so young, the nursery has been nothing but amazing as my son is now 3 years and 4 months old. He has come on leaps and bounds ever since he started Highfield, the teachers are all exceptional and he speaks about all of them and how fun his day was every time he arrives home! Thank you Highfield I highly recommend you to anybody wanting a perfect nursery for their child.

Always give us honest, yet reassuring feedback, support, advice, tips and generally excellent care for our children. We have always felt extremely comfortable and happy knowing our precious children are in the best care we could possibly ask for.

My child has been attending the Nursery since January this year and the staff, facilities and care have been nothing but fantastic. My daughter settled straight away and is always happy to be dropped off with her keyperson Miss Kidd, who she loves. The Nursery is so stimulating and always something different happening every session she is in which we get to see on the emailed weekly reports.

The ratio of staff to pupils seems to be at times very low, which seems to have an effect on the supervision the children receive at preschool. Besides this I would fully recommend this school as our daughter loves going here and shows great skills that favour her future development.
