Conveniently located in central Cleveleys, Kids Planet Clarence is a warm and welcoming day nursery, set up to deliver care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. They are open year round from 8am - 6pm, making the nursery ideal for working families who need an earlier or later pick up time.

During their time with the nursery, children benefit from a calm and purposeful setting, with a vast array of opportunities to learn, play and explore in a safe and positive way. The friendly and experienced team support each child's development, respecting their differences, preferences and unique requirements. The nursery also has a great outdoor space where children can explore the natural world and let their imaginations run wild.

The team ensure that parents and families are kept up to date as much as they want to be. As part of the Kids Planet team, families have access to a hub where they can see updates about what children are up to during their time at the nursery, ensuring they never miss out on those special moments.

I have two children who attend Squirrel Nutkins. Both children have been at the setting since they were both babies. They both love going to nursery and never want to leave when I pick them up. All the staff are lovely and I am well informed of their day. My children wouldn't be where they are now without
the help of you all!

My little girl has attended this nursery since she was 2, she's nearly 4 now. She absolutely loves going. My little girl is behind with her speech development, and with support from the nursery and all the staff, especially her key person, she is making amazing progress and is coming on so much. I honestly
couldn't thank everyone at the nursery enough for everything they have done for my daughter.
I also absolutely love the tapestry app, which nursery use to keep you up to date on what your child has been doing and what they are up to, and they upload photos.

My little boy has attended this nursery for 2 1/2 years now and my little girl for the last 8 months. It is a fantastic nursery, the children love it. There is always different things going on and the staff are great. I also work shifts and often need to change days, they always do their best to accommodate.
Wouldn't send my children anywhere else now and would definitely recommend it.

My son has been going to Squirrel Nutkins Nursery since he was 10 months old, he is now nearly 2 and we couldn't be happier with it! The staff are brilliant, so friendly and welcoming. My son loves his days there and often doesn't want to leave when I come to pick him up. The range of activities they
do with the babies is brilliant and the software they use to keep you informed and to log observations is fab.
I have and will continue to recommend Squirrel Nutkins to everyone.

We have had 2 children attend this nursery setting, I can't thank the nursery enough for their support, professionalism and dedication they have given to both my children and us as parents. Our children are adopted and my eldest was extremely difficult to manage due to the unfortunate start he had to
his life, with their commitment they helped us as a family to get through really tough times and they were always thriving to adapt to my child's needs. With my eldest now at school We have one child at this nursery, I have complete peace of mind that when my child is there he is happy, thriving and in the best of hands.

Our child is in the best care possible. Having had a previous awful childcare experience I wasn't sure I would be able to trust any provider with my children again.
I spoke to the owner & asked her why she opened the nursery, she had the exact answers I wanted to hear as a mother.
The Manager has
always been approachable & the staff are always friendly, ready to answer any questions I have regarding my child.
There is a holistic approach in caring for the children & countless opportunities to discuss progress.
I didn't think I would ever find anyone suitable to care for my child in the way I wanted. The key worker has a huge impact on the children, being able to pick his own was imperative to him settling in at the nursery, thank you.
The staff all have basic first aid training amongst many other opportunities to increase their own knowledge & understanding which I take as a sign of the quality of care provided.

My daughter started squirrel Nutkins in November 2015 at 7 months and since she started. She is very happy always smiling when I drop her off staff are very helpful and friendly and it is like a home from home environment and I wouldn't take my child anywhere else.

The staff at squirrel Nutkins are all lovely, they are all so welcoming and friendly to myself, my partner and most importantly my son. They helped him settle in and treat him as if he was one of their own. They have great facilities and the nursery is always kept clean and tidy. Also, they have great
activities for the children and always have fun ideas to celebrate occasions such as Easter and sports day etc. I would recommend Squirrel Nutkins to anyone as they have a great standard of quality and care.

Love, love, love this nursery. Both my children attend Squirrel Nutkins and have developed so much since joining in June this year.
Every day seems to be a different adventure and I thoroughly enjoy reading about what they've done each day.
Best of all, they're tired out when they arrive home, which

Squirrel Nutkins Nursery is a very caring and fun filled place, our daughter loves to go and even when she's not there she's pestering to be dropped of. Amazing nursery, my daughter loves going and has come on so well since joining . They have many activities she can join in with. The staff are all so friendly and always there to help. Out of a number of nurseries we viewed this was by far the most welcoming, cleanest and informative nursery! We were given so much information and got to meet all staff to help make us an informed choice! The care is fantastic and great to see a mixture of ages, unlike some nurseries with predominantly
younger staff members! The balance is just right and every member of staff is excellent! My daughter has come on so much since starting here and I would highly recommend!

Squirrel Nutkins is an absolutely fantastic nursery. The setting is warm and welcoming. Our daughter loves nursery and adores her key worker! She comes home singing songs and telling us all about what she has been doing. The staff are so friendly and always take the time to talk to you about your child
and their day to day activities and achievements. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Squirrel Nutkins... In fact I have recommended them numerous times already!!

My eldest child (2) began attending here in March 2015. We had around five settle in sessions with no pressure to commit to paying until my little girl and I felt confident it was the right placement. All of the staff seem really professional and are very approachable to both parents and children.
Each week there seems to be new initiatives for the children to engage with and the feedback we received is to a very high standard. We recently got involved with 'National Play Day' in which parents could come along and play with their children for an hour. I also like the use of social networking sites (if in agreement) where photos and updates can also be viewed. My youngest child is in the process of starting here too, highly recommended!

What a fabulous nursery!! I can not fault them in any way. I have never had a moments worry leaving my son with any of the staff. There is always a warm friendly home from home atmosphere. Such a lovely environment for children to learn.

My daughter has been attending Squirrel Nutkins for just about a year now and every time I pick her up at the end of a session I walk out always feeling reassured that this is the best nursery and the best decision made.
We had looked round a few nurseries when researching those in the area, but once
we went into Squirrel Nutkins we knew it was perfect. It has such a friendly and welcoming staff who are always so helpful and go the extra mile. They plan wonderful activities for the children and everything is so organised. It radiates a family feel. I've always felt 110% that they care for the children not just because it's their job but because they are genuinely concerned and want the best for the children. They made the daunting experience of leaving my baby to go to work one which was made easier- knowing just how wonderful the staff are. I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough. Go and see for yourselves and you will agree. The Manager and the team are simply wonderful.

My son has been going to Squirrel Nutkins nursery for the past 18 months and loves it! He is always doing a wide range of activities, which has helped his development and social skills. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and you can tell the really care about the children in there care.
I would recommend it to anyone looking to put their child in nursery. I'm sure my son will continue to enjoy his time with them, and that Squirrel Nutkins will provide the highest standard of childcare.
