Stepping Stones Day Nursery - Lingley Mere

This nursery setting is absolutely fantastic. Both of my daughters have received fantastic care whilst attending here over the past few years. Staff are caring and friendly - this goes for every member of staff I have ever spoken with and about any query I've had. My daughters love playing both inside and out, and they learn so much whilst here, I highly recommend Stepping Stones Day Nursery at Lingley Mere.

Stepping Stones Day Nursery have been brilliant with my little boy. He was very unsettled starting and they were just lovely and patient with him. The feedback each day is thorough and he now enjoys going there. I love seeing pictures of him there.

My son has been at Stepping Stones Day Nursery for almost 18 months. He absolutely loves it which makes it so much easier as a parent when you drop him off! They have assisted with every stage of his development, most recently adjusting into the toddler room which has been a big step up for him.

Highly recommend this nursery and have done to many friends and family since we enrolled. It's always been a friendly warm atmosphere since my son started back in May 2022. He looks forward to nursery and leaves happy and content after his day. The staff are friendly and approachable. Thank you!

My little girl has attended this nursery for just over a year and has transitioned from the babies room, through pre-toddlers and recently into toddlers. Each room has helped her develop in so many different ways at each stage, and all of the girls in each room are an absolute credit to the nursery. I know my little girl is with people who genuinely care for her when I drop her off! She always comes out with the biggest smile, and seeing what she's been up to with her friends throughout the day via the app and through handovers with the staff is fabulous. Never had any issues, and the communication has always been spot on.

I couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a caring and high-quality nursery!

Excellent nursery cannot fault anything about it, our son is in such good hands and loves it at Stepping Stones Day Nursery. All the staff are brilliant and would highly recommend. Nothing is too much trouble!

My son has come on so much since coming to Stepping Stones Day Nursery. He gets on so well with his key person and they are great with the children. I like that the nursery continually improves as well, recently they have begun to use the nursery app to put diary entries on, which is a great way to see what he has been up to at nursery.

My daughter starting Stepping Stones Day Nursery when she was a year old. From her very first sessions, I felt as though I was handing her over to extended family, all the staff were so caring and nurturing. They took a great interest to learn her routines and to find out what comforted her. I felt confident and happy that my daughter was in such excellent hands. Our daughter is now 19 months old and has come on brilliantly since being at Stepping Stones, she interacts well with other children, is confident and most importantly of all, happy. All the staff at the nursery are incredibly friendly and approachable. They keep us updated daily on what our daughter has been doing, with regular pictures. The nursery is in such a beautiful location and my daughter regularly goes to the library, duck pond and park which she loves. I myself have a disability and the management have been tremendous at ensuring access needs such as accessible parking are available to me, something which I really appreciate.

This nursery has been fantastic for both my boys! My eldest started in January 2019 and my youngest will finish September 2026, so we have had many years with this nursery! One thing that stands out is how attentive and caring the staff are, my boys loved their nursery workers and both made lots of friends. They learnt many skills there, including using a knife and fork, which was a surprise for us! Very approachable and accommodating, would highly recommend.

We couldn't be happier with the care our child receives at Stepping Stones Day Nursery Lingley Mere. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and truly invested in each child's individual development. From the moment we walk in, the welcoming atmosphere is evident, and our little boy always loves going into nursery. The curriculum is well-rounded, with a great mix of creative activities, outdoor play, and educational learning experiences that are clearly tailored to their age group. We especially appreciate the detailed daily updates. We would wholeheartedly recommend the nursery to any family searching for a nurturing and stimulating nursery environment.

Watching our children thrive within the setting, to grow and achieve so much during their time here has been paramount. The skill base grows daily and our children have grown in confidence, are excited to learn and are developing so much.

My son goes to the preschool room in this nursery. The staff are lovely and friendly and are always able to tell me how my son's day has been. The part I like the best about the nursery is the open-door policy for his room, I can go in at any point and see that he is happy and safe. The nursery itself is completely secure and always manned by a staff member at the front door. I also love the photos that I can on the app of his learning. I feel my child is completely safe and secure and is happy and settled at this nursery and the staff are lovely and helpful.

We have felt recently the preschool room is overcrowded, but the staff are always doing everything they can.
