Our little girl has gone here from 10-months-old, and she’s now two and a half. She started in the baby room and absolutely loved it from day one; there’s no better feeling knowing your little one is happy and content to go into the nursery. The staff in the baby room are absolute angels. Being in the baby room with those girls made our child flourish into a strong, confident and caring little girl. She’s now moved on to the toddler room, and the level of care and attention from all the girls in that room is still second to none! Our toddler struggled with the transition, which is completely normal and natural, and the staff really helped work with us to make sure. She began to understand and enjoy her new surroundings, and now she bounds in every morning, not even a look back. Thank you to the owner and manager for creating a safe environment full of love and respect. They’re not just a nursery; they’re family.

My 3-year-old son attends Sir Leslie Martin Day Nursery and loves it! The staff are wonderful and have been nothing but amazing to our family. My son adores his teachers and is always happy and excited to go in the morning - he also loves the food, which is a plus! We recently moved here from the States and have greatly appreciated the staff’s kindness and generosity.

Both of our sons have attended Sir Leslie Martin Day Nursery. Our eldest left last year, and the youngest has been there from the baby room right through to the pre-school room. The owner clearly adores children and manages the nursery with devotion and care. The staff in each room are enthusiastic, dedicated, proficient and caring. The delicious food menus cater for every taste, and the fun weekly programs encourage development in the children. I am so grateful to everyone at Sir Leslie Martin Day Nursery for looking after our boys and would recommend it without hesitation.

This is a fantastic nursery! I have been incredibly pleased with the progress my little one has made and the skills he has developed in the last 2-years. The staff are absolutely amazing, friendly, supportive and genuinely care for the children. I would highly recommend them as they are really good.

The learning and development skills my child has formulated over the past 12 months has been greatly increased from the teaching and variety of experiences encountered during nursery.

I have found Sir Leslie Martin to be an excellent nursery. All of the staff are very professional and have supported my son’s transition from another setting really well. They provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment, and it’s clear to see that all the children enjoy attending the setting. I’m very pleased with the level of care and attention my son receives, and hence would highly recommend this nursery!

He is loving his time in the pre-school room, and his time in the toddler room was just as good.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this was where I wanted my children to be. The staff are amazing, always so welcoming and friendly, and the children love them. They have been with Sir Leslie Martin since they were 8-months-old; they have always loved all the art, activities and enjoyed the outside play areas. My son will be really sad to leave his Sir Leslie Martin family this month but is ready to start in his new big school in September. He has had the best time at nursery, and it has been the perfect starting point, and I know he is already looking forward to coming back to pick his sister up and tell everyone how he is getting on at school.

I would highly recommend Sir Leslie Martin to any family. My son has attended there from 2.5-years-old, and we are so happy with how he is getting on. They have a great outdoor area; they do such fun activities and are always making great things with the children. His development and language have come on no end since attending there. Any issues or concerns have been dealt with speedily, and the staff are all so approachable, friendly and professional. The rooms are lovely, and the sleep areas for the children with fairy lights are so lovely. Their dealing with Covid and health and safety has been amazing. Would highly recommend it.

Sir Leslie Martin nursery is a small, friendly and caring nursery. My son enjoys the activities and looks forward to going to nursery. He enjoys a variety of different foods and is very sociable because of his experience there.

The wonderful staff at Sir Leslie Martin Day Nursery provide a fantastic nursery for our daughter. Nothing is too much trouble, and they have helped us out at a moments notice on several occasions. My daughter loves going and is always doing something different and exciting! I would recommend Sir Leslie Martin Day Nursery to anybody who is considering it. Whenever I speak to friends about nurseries, I am reminded of how lucky we were to find such a wonderful place for our daughter.

We moved to Hartford at the end of May, and I was really worried about my daughter changing nursery. I needn’t have been concerned - the team at Sir Leslie Martin are absolutely brilliant and spared lots of time beforehand to talk about the nursery and routine there and to learn about my daughter. Every morning is a warm welcome, and you feel as though your child is being made part of a family and truly cared for as an individual. The setting is also superb, with lots of good indoor and outdoor space, all beautifully decorated. I love the way the team communicate what my daughter has done every day. The variety of activities is huge, and her conversation and physical dexterity have come on in leaps and bounds. The team provide excellent advice on anything you need (such as potty training) and really make you feel like part of the local community.

Our experience of the Sir Leslie Martin nursery has all been extremely positive. Our daughter has flourished since moving from her previous nursery. She settled quickly into her new class, and we could immediately see the care and individual attention that each child is given on a one to one basis.

We are particularly impressed with how the team has pulled together during the Covid pandemic and the attention given to keeping our families safe.

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds and has learnt so much since attended the nursery, and I honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

I can’t sing Sir Leslie Martin praises enough. My daughter started here at 15-months and loves it. I was so nervous to send her to the nursery, but it was truly the best decision. She is learning so much each week, the amazing staff have worked so hard throughout the pandemic to keep everyone safe and should be proud of all their hard work. They are very friendly and welcoming, helping with the children’s development and supporting the parents too. Truly, a great nursery; they go above and beyond.

My children have loved their time at Sir Leslie Martin and have thrived. My eldest was well prepared for school and my youngest still attends and loves every minute. (Except going home time) It simply doesn't get better than Sir Leslie Martin.

My daughter has come on so much since being there, she absolutely loves it. They encourage her to learn new skills all of the time, play with her, encourage her, try her with new foods etc. The two main teachers/carers in the baby room clearly genuinely love babies and the jobs they do and I have no hesitation in leaving her in their care. They are first aid trained too which is of great comfort.

They are very accommodating for specific food requirements. There is always something to celebrate - either British or foreign and this makes for fun activities for the children. A true "home from home" and we'll all be sad when it is time for big school!
