The children always say how much they enjoy nursery, and our boys love the show and tell sessions! The extra work that goes on behind the scenes to bring special occasions to life such as Christmas time is unbelievable; the staff, children and parents of the children are all one big family. Would highly recommend!

The carers have a good balance between being fun and firm, expecting good manners and behaviour from the children. The outdoor explorers is amazing, my son loves being able to learn in the outdoors and the big room garden is fantastic for him. He learns soo much in nursery, when learning numbers, letters and colours it’s all achieved in a fun way, he loves the arts and crafts and has a lot of fun with his friends. The carers are very loving if he is ever feeling sad and they’re full of joy to laugh with him when he’s happy. I couldn’t recommend the nursery and staff enough.

The nursery is bright and cheerful and a real learning environment - also, the fact they pride themselves on being a small, independent day nursery is evident - the fact they are smaller than some other nurseries definitely enables my daughter to build some real relationships with the staff, but also with the parents too.

After a couple of sessions, the transformation was incredible, he was asking to do more days, and when out and about, he was no longer the child clinging to me - but excited and confident to mix with others!

The most comforting part of this development was the fondness in which he spoke of his room leader - speaking of her on a daily basis and excited to see her again, demonstrating the utter trust he has so quickly developed for someone outside of our family.

She is now in the toddler room and throughly enjoying it. She took a little bit to adapt but I think it was just the change. The girls were fantastic with settling her in and every time I pick her up she is smiling from ear to ear saying what a fun day she has had. Any issues that have ever arisen have been dealt with promptly and efficiently. I have complete faith in everyone that works there and I know my daughter is in great hands.

Another important thing was how inclusive and diverse the nursery is. See I am Portuguese, so for me, it is very important to have a place where I know he will learn English and English culture, but there is space to learn other cultures and languages, and staff at Sir Leslie are super open to learning about Portugal.
Also, the team has a male member as a teacher, which is pretty uncommon, and I thought it is great for my baby to learn how males also are part of raising a child, and it is not only mummy.
It has been super incredibly months, and he is developing in an impressive way. Highly recommend Sir Leslie Martin.

We have had to take our two out of nursery for a period due to having to shield, the nursery has always accommodated our requirements. The kids have sometimes found it hard to settle in due to the time out of nursery but the staff have always made a special effort to help their transition back to regular attendance.

discovered the offer of childcare available that this was the nursery for us! The baby room allows for lots of adventure, a quiet sleeping area and access to a safe outdoor area. As the baby grows, they move into different more appropriate areas of the nursery. The location is ideal for us living in the area with helpful opening times.
Since starting the nursery, my daughter has developed her social skills, physical strength and confidence. She enjoys the great meals offered, which is a large variety of different foods. The nursery has worked within our daughter’s routines in order to assist with an easier transition.
The staff all take the right approach towards the children.

She’s now moved on to the toddler room, and the level of care and attention from all the girls in that room is still second to none! Our toddler struggled with the transition, which is completely normal and natural, and the staff really helped work with us to make sure. She began to understand and enjoy her new surroundings, and now she bounds in every morning, not even a look back. Thank you to the owner and manager for creating a safe environment full of love and respect. They’re not just a nursery; they’re family.
