Richmond House Kindergarten

Our little girl is sad to be leaving and will be missing here for a while to come.

Definitely good memories.

The nursery is great, clean, well-presented, and warm. The staff are great. My two boys have recently joined and I've seen a massive improvement in their speech and language and trying more new foods that they'd previously just not entertain. They both love going, they don't want to leave when we pick them up. Which puts our mind at ease knowing they love it.

The acid test for us is that our child really misses nursery and her friends when she’s away (on holiday). She sings the nursery songs all the time and asks not just where her friends are but where her teachers as too. Other nurseries have provided child-minding facilities to our two (teenage) boys, but Richmond House engage more and educate to the extent that we can say our daughter would not be as confident, advanced and chatty if she had simply stayed home. She is off to a flying start thanks to Richmond House. Highly recommended from a usually pernickety dad!

Richmond House have made our family feel incredibly welcome since our first visit. Our son has attended for a year now and has learnt so much. He is very happy there and the staff have always gone the extra mile for us to help him settle and feel cared for.

Our daughter has been going here for 18 months now and she loves it. It’s a lovely family-style setting where all the staff know our daughter’s name and we know theirs. We’ve been very impressed with our daughter’s learning since she moved into the kindergarten and preschool where she does phonics, numbers and Spanish! We’ve already signed our newborn up for a place in the baby room later in the year.

I have had three children at Richmond House and have always been impressed with the dedication, care and provision of activities. The children benefit from music, movement and even Spanish classes on top of their daily routine. The nursery also does lots with parents and carers to build a close bond with families. The staff are incredibly hard-working and I really love the homely atmosphere. All my children have enjoyed their time there. A fantastic place.

Two of my children have done/currently attend Richmond House and my third is due to start in September. We have been extremely happy with the service provided and our children have all settled well. All of the staff are incredibly helpful and caring and have always worked hard to support the children in achieving personal, emotional and social goals within the nursery setting. The communication is brilliant and I love seeing my child’s progress from week to week. My children have taken part in a variety of different activities including Stretch and Grow, Spanish, Forest School and much more! Our daughter attended right up until Reception and still talks about the staff and memories she has of attending Richmond House. It’s so lovely! The nursery has always been very accommodating to our children’s dietary needs, which is so important to me, and we have always been assured of alternatives with staff being on hand to answer any questions. Couldn’t recommend Richmond House Kindergarten enough!

Our daughter started when she was 9 months old. She has been looked after and cared for very well. She is 2 now. The wide range of activities she does is amazing from the music and dancing to the pictures and collages that come home. She has made a close little group of friends that she talks a lot about! We feel her language is developing due to her attendance. The staff are lovely and very pleasant always greet us with a smile and cheery manner.

Both my daughter and son attend Richmond House full time and absolutely love it. They have made so many friends and love all of the 'grown ups' which makes the world of difference to us as parents. We have even had tears on the weekend when they can't go to nursery! The range of activities and developmental attention given to each child is second to none, we couldn't ask for more. My son has had difficulties with eczema and what ended up being allergies - the team at Richmond House were and continues to be so supportive and accommodating really helping him and us manage what he needs. Thank you to all at Richmond House - you are fantastic!

Both my son and daughter attended this nursery. They were both very happy here and the staff showed genuine care, love, and support towards them both. It is a small intimate nursery which was great for my children and had a very homely feel. The learning was fun and engaging and set them both up perfectly for starting school. I would highly recommend this nursery for your little ones.

We have had the most incredible experience with Richmond House! Our son started at age two in 2020 during all the Covid madness and the way that the staff welcomed us and settled him into the nursery was absolutely brilliant from the first phone call. They gave us a virtual tour beforehand and then once he started he was so happy from the first day. The communication is excellent and I love the app you can access to see photos and updates. Everyone is so friendly, the team clearly really care about the kids and our son adored going. Such a wonderful nursery and I would recommend them to anyone.

My son has been at Richmond House Kindergarten for 4 years and while he is looking forward to school he will greatly miss his friends and all the staff at the nursery too. He loves all the staff at the nursery and has bonded with all his key workers throughout. He has thrived there and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. The outdoor play area is fantastic and the variety of activities that he takes part in throughout the week ensures that he is always interested and stimulated whilst also allowing lots of time for free play too. The nursery has been extremely flexible and has always accommodated our needs where possible. A lovely nursery.

Richmond House staff are friendly, approachable, knowledgable and very caring. Our son formed genuine bonds with his carers, they have contributed significantly to his development and he has been very happy. Great facilities and great environment.

The staff are fantastic. Always smiling. They update the progress every day. My 2 year boy comes home with a huge smile on his face everyday.

The staff, in particular, make this nursery a very lovely setting for my daughter. They are dedicated and put a lot of effort into making sure the children progress and have fun at the same time. They involve the children in lots of different activities and my daughter has settled in very well for these reasons.

I couldn’t recommend the nursery more. The service is flexible and geared completely to the needs of family life.

The staff are caring and ensure your child’s wellbeing and education is their top priority. My children are now confident children who are motivated to learn and Richmond House continues to offer them the challenges they need on a daily basis.

Parents are always well informed by staff of their child’s learning progress and having staff that are warm and welcoming makes communicating even easier.

I could not recommend a better nursery and I feel very lucky to have been able to put both my kids through Richmond House.
