Kids Planet Widnes was rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted in October 2018 and is in a purposely-converted Victorian building which makes for a charming and spacious environment for the practice of childcare and early years learning. The facility includes a sensory room, secure outdoor play with rubber soft surfaces.

Staff are fully qualified and up-to-date with all aspects of the EYFS, taking pride to be approachable and supporting freedom of play and learning throughout all the age groups. Good health is also supported by a freshly prepared food menu.

Such a wonderful nursery. My little boy has come on so much and runs in excited each day. Love the interactive app with parents and seeing the fun moments he has each day. Social media is always updated with the latest events, which really gets all kids involved.

Highly recommended, staff are amazing and so friendly. My son loves going to this nursery and loves all the staff, especially in toddlers room. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work and making my son happy and come out of his shell.

My daughter goes here, at first she was shy to go but now she has become more confident and she loves going to the nursery. Since she has gone to this nursery she has come on so well and she learns something new all the time

The best nursery ever! My daughter loves it, she’s very well looked after, knows all teachers by name and absolutely loves her time here. She loves the outside facilities. She knows the days she does, she is very clever and learns a lot from this nursery. The staff are out of this world, always available
for any questions I have. They encourage her, always have the best interest at heart for her. I’m going to be devastated when she leaves for primary school. The best nursery ever.

Amazing nursrey, my little boy loves it here. Made going back to work easier knowing how happy and safe he is there. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Every day they update me, on an app, on what they are up to and the activities they have done that day.

My grandson has been here since 12 wks old and he's leaving next week at 4.
I couldn't rate it higher - staff are lovely, couldn't help more and keep me informed of everything he does. I love the way all the food is cooked in the nursery. It will be a sad day when he leaves next week. Brillant place

The staff at Kids Planet Day Nursery go above and beyond in their role when working with the children and alongside parents. Any concerns regarding your child are always taken onboard eg. potty training/eating issues and are practised within the nursery as well as what your child is doing at home. They
are friendly and approachable and will do all they can to put parents at ease. They are in very safe hands.

Best nursery by far my two have both been here and they were both very wary of starting nursery but the staff managed to calm them down easily and in the end, they loved it. One has now moved into big school but the youngest is still here she loves coming to nursery now she has come out of her shell
so much since she started would always recommend here I would never use any other nursery

My daughter has attended the nursery since September last year and in such a short space of time she has come on in leaps and bounds. The staff are so caring and maternal and offer lots of good advice when needed (1st-time parent)
They have welcomed us as a family and my daughter is so settled. They
have lovely nice touches throughout the nursery especially the parent coffee station for me to grab on way out to work... helps with the morning madness.
Couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

My little girl has been coming to this nursery for nearly two years now since she was 5 months old. She absolutely loves it, with the care and attention from the staff she has become such a confident and playful little girl and she thrives from going to this nursery. I have had zero problems since

My son has been attending this nursery since early 2014 and I have never had an issue with the staff or the nursery itself. My son loves coming to nursery and is always coming home telling me about different things he has done. There are so many opportunities for him to take advantage of, the newest
is rugby minis. My child came home enthusiastic and was practicing what he had learnt that morning. Staff are so friendly, welcoming and I feel confident leaving my son in their care. He also has a balanced diet and eats different types of meals that I would not necessarily cook at home for him. I would recommend this nursery to any parent/guardian.

Beth Jones

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Originally qualifying as a Primary School teacher, I spent several years in Primary Schools before transitioning into the Early Years sector. Over time, I have taken on a variety of roles within Early Years settings, gaining valuable experience and deepening my understanding of early childhood development. I took over as Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Widnes in March 2023. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a Master’s degree in Disability Studies, and a National Professional Qualification in Early Years Leadership (NPQEYL). In September, I will begin studying toward a Doctorate in Education (EdD), further deepening my expertise and commitment to driving excellence within Early Years.
