Heathside Nursery is located in Weston Village, close to Heath Business and Technical Park.

The nursery features indoor playrooms, providing sensory equipment where children can build, draw, climb and explore. Staff plan activities that build each child's skills and imagination. Every child is valued and encouraged letting their own personalities shine. The team follow the EYFS curriculum.

Heathside has a lovely outdoor area with lots of space to play and learn, it has a lot of wildlife to watch.

The nursery has a passion for health and nutrition and was awarded Halton Healthy Early Years Status in recognition of their commitment.

My son started Heathside in October as I was very unhappy with his last nursery. The staff were so welcoming and since he has been there only 2 months, he has grown so much he is so much happier and the staff have been amazing with him as he is a little slow with his speech, he now says more words and
for that alone I can't thank them enough and they encourage him to do and try everything. I could not be any happier.

Our little boy joined Heathside in May 2024. He absolutely loves going to nursery and is thriving. The staff are all absolutely lovely and very obviously care about all of the children within the nursery not just within their individual rooms. Would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone.

My son started attending Heathside Nursery in January at 6 months. From the moment the transition started, all the staff have been fantastic, ensuring my son is happy and thriving and that my partner and I were settled and reassured leaving him for the first time.
All of the staff at Heathside are
extremely friendly and approachable. The communication is great, informing us of all the different activities my son has engaged in and just general updates. The development my son has achieved so far in his time at Heathside is amazing and the excitement and smile on his face each morning on arrival shows what a great nursery Heathside is.

My little boy has attended Heathside since September 2020 and he absolutely loves it. The girls are wonderful with the children and they are always busy with engaging and creative activities. They have brilliant outdoor space too. He is in the pre-school room now and as sad as it will be to leave this
year, the pre-school team are doing a great job preparing him for starting school in September!

My daughter and son both attend Heathside Nursery and I can't sing their praises highly enough. The dedication the staff show to the children, the engaging activities and focus on all aspects of development is clear to see. My children are always so excited to go, and have developed great relationships
with staff. I feel secure in the knowledge they are being well looked after, and have come on leaps and bounds since attending. Thoroughly recommend this nursery!

My son has attended Heathside since he was 11 months old, last summer and prior to that my daughter attended from 2019-2022.
I was initially attracted to Heathside due to its location and the huge outdoor space.
The staff are friendly, approachable and communicative.
Both of my children have enjoyed
their time at the nursery and my son is excited to go in each morning.

This is an excellent nursery. Staff are very caring and plan excellent activities to help my little one develop and report to me regularly with their progress. They have created an environment that is engaging, and caring and my child loves every minute of being at nursery and every member of staff
that works with them.
The manager is kind and caring and always willing to listen to parents. She has had a massive impact in changing this from what was already a great nursery to an excellent one.

The most wonderful nursery! Cannot praise the amazing staff enough!
My child has been attending for over two years since they were 8 months old.
Staff are fantastic with both my child and myself with regards to reassurance, support, education and overall well being!
My child is always happy to
attend and actively seeks out their key workers to greet them when we arrive. Evidencing the caring relationship they have.
I work full time and there is nothing better than going to work knowing my child is extremely well cared for during the day.
Would recommend it to any parent looking for a nursery for their child in the area.

The nursery is the best I have known it! The range of activities is excellent and communication is too. My little girl is thriving. She is clearly having lots of phonics input as she is becoming very inquisitive about words and likes to listen to them and then play around with them. Segmenting, blending
and finding rhyming words. She is very well known by all staff and cared for brilliantly. I would highly recommend Heathside Nursery, especially under the manager's leadership.

I have two boys at Heathside Nursery and they love it. The girls that work here genuinely care for the children and I know both of my boys are spoilt with love and cuddles as well as challenged to learn and develop new skills. They get lots of outside time which I love and their key person knows them
very well, their likes, dislikes, their temperament and how to settle them.

Hearthside Nursery has been amazing, my daughter started in 2020 and has absolutely loved it from the minute she started. All staff are very caring and really get to know the children. The nursery has had a few changes since my daughter has been there and they are definitely for the better, driven by

Fantastic nursery. All the staff are amazing. My little girl loves going in every day. She loves to play out in the big garden and help feed the chickens. I would definitely recommend this nursery to all my friends and family.

The staff at Heathside Nursery are the most incredible ladies who really go out if their way to support families. Both of my children have attend Heathside and are so happy. My little girl even calls it 'Fun House'. My little boy has autism and they really have bent over backwards to make sure he is
looked after and happy. He is due to start school this year and the team have also gone above and beyond helping us prepare for this to ensure he has all the support in place he needs. Special mention to two members of staff, I don’t know how we would have got through the last few months without your support. Thank you so much for everything you do, you guys are the best.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for genuine, friendly and caring childcare. The staff are so accommodating, nothing is ever too much and they always have a smile on their face which doesn't just set the children up for their morning, but the parents too.
They have fabulous resources,
endless activities and they make everything fun. Their outdoor space is enormous and hosts so many different aspects - dens, zip wire, chickens, reading shed, play area etc so they really push outdoor and natural play. They have lots of outside influences from the likes of local companies, places of culture and other places of work to give the children a wide view of the world.
They are fantastic and have brought my daughter on so much in the time she has been there - we can't thank them enough.

What an amazing place. I'm so pleased I found you for my 16-month-old daughter. The manager and my daughter's key worker (and the team) are amazing, so caring, sensitive and nurturing. They not only helped settle my daughter in so well but gave me the reassurance I needed to know she was in safe hands.
The activities, indoor and outdoor, are absolutely wonderful. Our daughter has fun-packed days there and clearly enjoys it. The app is fabulous too, giving me constant updates, photos, posts etc on her daily progress and activities. They are extremely supportive of my daughter's needs. So excited for all the future activities coming up and my daughter exploring, learning and progressing with the help of this wonderful place. She's only been attending a month or so and can already see her coming on and developing. They have helped her with socialising due to the lack of this in lockdown and not having any siblings. Such a special, magical place, couldn't be happier.

I have 2 grandchildren attending this nursery, each in different rooms.
My grandson hated going to strange places, he just loved the comforts of being at home. He has never had an issue being left and going to Heathside Day Nursery. He's gone here since he was 7 months old. He loves everyone there
especially the cook. My grandson is in an amazing routine and everyone in the nursery sticks to our routine. He loves it at the nursery and they work really hard with him as part of his development.
My granddaughter also loves to go to nursery, she loves chatting about what she's done when she finishes her day. She can't wait till Monday to go back over the weekend.

Both of my daughters have attended Heathside nursery and my youngest returned after the spell off due to lockdown. She loves going to nursery and all staff are friendly and helpful. I love the outdoor space at Heathside and so does my daughter. Excellent nursery and I love that staff stays the same
and it has a very family feel.

My name is Kelly and I am a room leader of the toddler room at Heathside. I have been here since December 2022 but I have previously worked at Heathside Before. I have worked in Early Years for 13 years and I absolutely love my job. One thing I enjoy most is planning exciting activities for the children and watching them learn and develop. Outside of work I enjoy going for walks, anything Disney and lots of trips to Chester Zoo with my partner and three children. I am so excited to further develop my career at Heathside.
