Excellent nursery, all staff are fantastic.

My son started at Chestnuts Day Nursery at 12 months old and has thoroughly enjoyed his experience. He is almost 4 years old and loves the preschool class (Busy Bees). There is a low turnover of staff and they are all very caring and hardworking. The activities in nursery are always appropriate to the children's ages and abilities. Chestnuts Day Nursery continues to develop the resources both inside and outside. Our son loves the nursery and we are very happy that we chose Chestnuts Day Nursery.

Chestnuts Day Nursery is a lovely nursery with a very homely feel. All the children are very happy there. The staff are very attentive and well trained. The nursery is not very IT savvy, no newsletters or memorabilia is shared via email/facebook etc. This would be beneficial. The outside space is very good and used well all year round. There are lots of events going on to involve the children and excite them.

My eldest son has just left Chestnuts to start school having been there since 11 months old, and my youngest is nearly 3 and has just moved into the pre-school class at Chestnuts, having also been there since 11 months old. The Chestnuts staff are all friendly, loved by the kids, reliable and passionate about working with parents/families jointly on any areas of development. Regular development meetings with the staff again highlight how they are on top of the needs of my kids and their unique quirks. Both boys had great help with toilet training. My eldest has left being able to write his name. My younger son hasn't quite got the language to give much detail about his days but he is always happy when picked up and if you ask him who he played with today he always passionately reels off a list of the nursery staff. Newsletters and arts and crafts clearly demonstrate the rounded education received by kids at Chestnuts and I would thoroughly recommend the nursery to anyone.

Chestnuts is a very welcoming nursery where the staff are very friendly and approachable. My little boy has been coming for over a year and a half and settled into the baby room and the toddler room very quickly and easily.

My son has been at the nursery for three years on a two days per week basis, in this time the nursery has provided an excellent learning programme for my son. Their has been no issues throughout his time at nursery and I have seen major development and change in his behaviour during this time. Excellent.

My son has attended since he was 9 months old. He now leaves to start school confident, caring and prepared. Such a wonderful team, his 'Chestnuts family'. We highly recommend Chestnuts. Child focused, fun and professional. Thank you.

I would highly recommend this nursery, my daughter has developed so much since coming here. The staff are really friendly and loving towards her and she's always really happy when I pick her up! Clean, warm welcomes and generally an excellent place to take your child!

Nursery is excellent, all staff are so friendly and is a really happy environment for my daughter. My daughter has attended this nursery for two years and I believe that her outgoing happy and bright personality has a lot to do with how well she is treated at nursery. This nursery is outstanding.

My son loves coming to nursery he always has a smile on his face when dropping off and picking him up. The staff are all caring and provides activities to help him to develop. He spends time in the garden and likes to climb on the climbing frame which he couldn't do a few weeks ago. There is always sand and water out for him to play in.
