Chestnuts Day Nursery

The staff in Chestnuts Day Nursery always go above and beyond. My children love it here and have come on leaps and bounds since starting. The wide variety of activities that my children are involved in day to day is extremely impressive and always seem both educational and engaging.

My son has not been around people much due to the pandemic, so I was anxious for him starting nursery. The girls in his room were fantastic, and the manager was very supportive. He loves going now, and we have already noticed him developing lots more since starting.

The staff are lovely and very focused on providing a happy setting for our children. The care has been particularly good during the challenging coronavirus times, and we are been very impressed with the professional attitude of the staff and their efforts to reintegrate the children.

We are very happy with Chestnuts Nursery. The care for our 18-month-old daughter is excellent and she clearly enjoys spending her day at nursery. We appreciate that there is very low staff turnover, and the staff genuinely seem to care about our daughter's development. One small piece of advice, it might be helpful to create a guide for new parents through the first few weeks of nursery. It is quite an emotional rollercoaster. The staff had answers for all our questions during this time, and it put our mind at ease, but it could help to put it in a small leaflet or something like that. Thank you for making nursery so enjoyable for our daughter.

Excellent nursery overall. The staff are extremely nice and look after the children in detail. The back garden is excellent for children to play.

My daughter has been coming to Chestnuts since March and she loves it. The staff have been brilliant at helping her (and me!) settle into our new routine. I like the fact that Chestnuts is small enough for her to get to know all the members of staff and spend time with older children. I'm confident this is the best nursery for her and I feel happy leaving her here every morning.
