Brilliant Nursery. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Our daughter looks forward to going and she picks up new things every day. Very happy we chose to send her to Chestnuts

We couldn't be happier with Chestnuts Day Nursery. From the start the staff have been amazing, genuinely caring. It's clear they truly know him, what he loves, what he doesn't. Every day he comes home chatting non stop about what he has done with his friends. The nurturing environment has helped him grow in confidence. I can't recommend Chestnuts enough. I couldn't be happier with the care and attention my child receives. They are amazing with him and he loves the workers. He always comes home happy and cleaner than I've sent him. They show what he is getting upto online and I can see he is happy in the pictures. The food they provide is great and routine there suits him. They give feedback each day when collecting my child and he shouts the workers names while he plays at home happily. He learns animal noises and flash cards, I can tell when I pull new ones out at home and he already knows them and he gets lots of fun time inside and out, with great learning activities.

My daughter has recently started at Chestnuts at 8 months. This is a hard time for any parent but the staff at Chestnuts have made it so easy. The staff are so friendly and know their stuff, very reassuring and flexible to your needs and requests. My daughter has settled in so well and has formed relationships with staff and children in her room. I'm so grateful to all the girls at Chestnuts for all they have done to continue to do. I give Chestnuts a very strong 5 stars.

We could not recommend Chestnuts any more highly! Chestnuts is a fantastic nursery where our daughter is thriving. All staff are highly trained and this shows in their outstanding thorough care and learning our daughter receives. Our daughter's key worker knows our daughter well and has developed such a strong and positive relationship. The management of the nursery is very effective in supporting children, parents and staff.

We have been with Chestnuts for 3 years now. My eldest started at 18 months and his little brother joined him last May. In that time, we have continuously been impressed by the care, support and focus on all aspects of wellbeing that Chestnuts provide. Our children have built strong relationships with staff and other children and been empowered to grow into happy, confident individuals. We have watched as both have been challenged and exposed to the alphabet, maths, numbers, science experiments; all performed in clever, engaging ways to help the children learn whilst playing. The children here are all encouraged to call the keyworkers 'aunties', and in a very real way, they are. Chestnuts is a warm, welcoming family which offers every child the best loving environment in which to grow. Each and every member of the nursery should be justifiably proud of what they have helped to build here.

The nursery staff were very patient and understanding during my daughter's settling-in period. Now she loves going in every morning and always smiles at the mention of nursery, the lovely staff and all her friends. The activities are varied and interesting, with many different themes covered to make all events, faiths and people included.

Fantastic nursery. My 18-month-old daughter has been attending for the past seven months. Every morning she goes in with a big smile on her face ad has settled in quickly. I have noticed how much she has developed since starting. All the staff are lovely, caring and helpful. I am kept up to date every day with activities she has been doing, what she has eaten, and how she has slept via the app. Would recommend it to anyone.

All staff are warm and caring. They show a strong attachment to the children and are consistently engaging them and letting them explore and develop in their way. Activities are well-planned and interesting and designed to develop a range of skills. We have an excellent and strong relationship with the key worker who we fully trust. We believe our child is thriving in their care.

Overall, a brilliant nursery, we receive detailed daily updates, regular photos and development checks. That, plus the well-trained, friendly team is great. Thank you Chestnuts Day Nursery!

Our daughter couldn't be happier at Chestnuts Day Nursery which I think is mainly due to the staff. She has been there since a baby and settled in very quickly. All the staff are always so happy, enthusiastic and caring. One of the reasons I chose Chestnuts was for the homely and personalised feeling you get as soon as you walk in. I couldn't recommend a better nursery!

We are extremely happy with Chestnuts as our choice of nursery for our little girl. We feel that all the staff have taken the time to get to know her personally and she absolutely loves going in! We love hearing what she's been up to during the day and communication is brilliant. The staff are all extremely professional, very friendly and always happy to fill us in on how our daughter is getting on.

We are so pleased we chose Chestnuts Day Nursery for our little girl. She has only been there four months and is thriving already. The setting is clean, safe and educational. The staff are all truly wonderful. They are approachable, caring and kind individuals who really make an effort to engage and develop the children in individualised ways. The longer opening hours accommodate our working schedules. We're greeted with nothing but smiling faces at pick-up and drop-off. If we could give this nursery 10 stars, we would! The team have cared for his food allergies and eczema so well and we're very grateful for that. We're also very grateful for that. We're also very impressed with all the activities the children do from celebrating cultural festivals to arts and crafts, he loves it.

My daughter has been at Chestnuts Day Nursery for over two months now and we have been really pleased with how happy she seems at nursery, seeing her develop and progress in all aspects. Communication has always been clear and all the staff I have met have been fantastic.

Could not be happier with the girls at Chestnuts! Not only are they attentive, personable, caring and experienced, but also seem to enjoy what they do, which as a parent, is incredibly important! My daughter loves her time here and is growing and learning at a rapid pace, thanks to the way the ladies engage with her. Thank you, ladies!

My son loves it and has always felt at home there. There is such a friendly and caring atmosphere at Chestnuts which I think was so important to him settling in. Also, what is fantastic is I can now check on my phone what he’s had to eat and when he has slept etc. He loves the outdoors and the nursery has a great outdoor area with lots of play equipment to explore. The food is always well balanced and home-cooked, he always eats it all! They always are doing creative crafts and on special occasions will bring home bits like Christmas etc. The staff are all lovely and cannot do enough for them. Would highly recommend Chestnuts to anyone!

She loves being there, taking part in every activity appears to be an exciting adventure and she says everyone there is her best friend.

We are delighted we chose Chestnuts Day Nursery. My daughter has attended for nearly a year now and loves it. She has come on leaps and bounds since attending two days a week since 1 year of age. The staff are wonderful and provide a caring and stimulating environment for development which has been so important to us given her first year of life was spent in Covid lockdown. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chestnuts!

My little boy has settled into nursery really nicely, the girls have been really good and he has a nice relationship with his key worker.
