Since the previous management team and several experienced staff members left, the setting appears unsettled, poorly managed, and lacking clear leadership. There are constant staffing changes, with unfamiliar agency staff regularly caring for my child, affecting consistency, routines, and emotional security. I often struggle to get hold of managers, concerns and complaints go unanswered, and communication is poor. I have personally raised concerns and received little reassurance or response. I am also concerned about staffing levels and qualifications within the nursery. There appear to be insufficient appropriately qualified staff across the rooms, raising concerns about supervision, safeguarding, and whether my child's individual needs are being met consistently. My child's personal care can appear rushed due to staffing pressures. My child has become increasingly unsettled and now does not want to attend nursery. I have noticed increased clinginess, emotional distress, and disrupt

The decline in this nursery over recent months has been shocking. Since the previous management team left, the whole setting feels completely unsettled and poorly managed.

The building itself is dated, resources are sparse, and there are very rarely engaging activities set up for the children in the mornings. Staff often look unhappy and uninterested in being at work, which creates a negative atmosphere throughout the nursery.

The children appear confused and unsettled due to the constant changes and lack of structure. There seems to be no clear leadership or direction anymore. Communication is also extremely poor - the area manager is nowhere to be seen and does not respond when parents try to make contact.

The two supporting managers who have recently been brought in do not appear confident or experienced in running the nursery, which only adds to the ongoing issues within the setting.

This nursery used to provide a lovely, warm, and homely environment where children felt cared for and supported. The staff were attentive, experienced, and genuinely passionate about the wellbeing and development of the children. It was once a place that parents could fully trust and feel confident in. Sadly, over time there has been a major decline in standards. Many long-standing staff members have left, resulting in constant changes and a noticeable loss of experience and consistency within the team. Management no longer seem as approachable, honest, or communicative as they once were. Despite repeatedly raising concerns, there has been little to no improvement. Communication with parents has declined significantly, including updates regarding children's progress and wellbeing. Most concerning is that my child has recently shown signs of neglect, particularly around hygiene and support during toilet times, which has been extremely upsetting.

The nursery has significantly declined since management left in February and I am extremely concerned about my child's wellbeing. There is a lack of leadership, with the manager rarely present or communicating, leaving senior staff to manage arrivals and parents. I have been left outside with my child for 30 minutes with no communication due to staffing ratio issues, which is unacceptable. Communication is poor and the app is not being used effectively. Heavy reliance on agency staff means my child is regularly greeted by unfamiliar adults, causing upset and distress. My child, previously happy and confident, is now emotional about attending and has regressed in potty training. Concerns I raise feel dismissed or not taken seriously. Jade, a senior staff member, has been consistently supportive and reassuring and has been the main reason I felt able to continue attending, so it is very concerning she is leaving. Stephen has also been helpful. Currently isn't safe, stable or well managed

Everything about this nursery is excellent. My Grandson has been going for the last 2 years and really enjoys being there. All the staff are wonderful and go that extra mile for you. They keep you informed about his progress throughout the day via a app, were they send pictures of him playing, painting and engaging in learning activities. In addition, at pick-up time, you are updated verbally on how the day has gone. The food is excellent, always healthy and varied. My grandson has an egg related allergy which is recognised by the catering staff and that is reassuring for us. I can honestly say, we feel confident that he is being looked after by all the staff in a safe and secure environment. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My two sons started in September 2024 after being in a previous nursery from 6 and 3 months old. I was worried they would find it hard with the change however once they walked though the doors and after a couple of weeks it was like they had always been there. The staff in Busy Bees are absolutely amazing, my two boys have an amazing relationship with them all. They have both come on leaps and bounds. My two boys who are 2 and 3 cry to go in and cheer when I when I pull up in the car park. The Nursey is spotless the staff are incredible, not only looking after my boys but to me. Nothing is ever a problem. The nursery is spotless and my boys having nothing but fun and cuddles. I wish I would have put them here from 3 and 6 months old. I am very grateful for my boys to have this amazing opportunity to develop and grow before they they start school and can assure if I ever have another child this is where they will be. I recommend to everyone. The care is impeccable!

Really lovely nursery, the staff are so warm and friendly. They create a positive and safe environment for my child to learn and develop. Parents are always kept updated on anything that parents may need to be aware of. This is done by their weekly newsletter and daily through the app when your child attends. Nothing is an issue to all members of staff, regardless of any issues you might have. Really, really impressed and pleased that my child attends this nursery, as I know he will have the best start in his education journey.

My daughter has been at this nursery for eighteen months now and she absolutely loves it, she has come on leaps and bounds. The girls who work there are amazing and the activities they set up are so good, makes the drop-off even easier as there are lots of setups ready for the children to play. I also think the food they serve is brilliant, lots of variety and some things I wouldn't do at home so the children are trying lots of new things!

Both of my children have had their nursery schooling at Busy Bees and I cannot fault the Nursery and the wonderful team. The children love going to nursery and tell us all about their experiences day in and day out. We love the app and how regularly it is updated so that we understand more about their learning journeys. Communication home could be slightly improved as we are often unsure of any events or activities but other than that we love Busy Bees.

Fabulous nursery would highly recommend it to anybody. Always very helpful and attentive to any questions or queries. Faultless service we are very happy with the nursery and our child also loves it aswell.

I would recommend this nursery to all my friends and family. My other son is due to start next month also. I feel at ease going back to work knowing he will be looked after by all the team.

We feel great that we picked this nursery for our kids. Strongly recommend this nursery to every parent.

Overall, our little boy enjoys attending and gets very excited at just pulling up outside.

I love my little girl's nursery, staff are so kind and that’s the main thing I was looking for. They are always so happy to see her and she is happy with them. I am so happy to leave her here and know she is safe. She is very well looked after and I’ve never had any problems.

Lovely nursery, staff are all so friendly and caring. It's excellent in terms of learning, I feel as though my child has progressed in his walking, his speech, singing and the learning all of his colours, shapes and numbers since starting the nursery at 17 months old. Food is great and the safety of the nursery is excellent. My child loves to draw and paint and brings home such lovely pictures.

My child seems to have settled in great in nursery after moving her from her previous one! All the staff are great and communicate very well. I love the app which I can see when my child eats sleeps and has nappy changes and any little activities she does during the day, which is great to see while I'm at work. I would definitely recommend this nursery to friends and family.

This nursery is outstanding in every way. I have nothing but praise in every area. There is genuine care and love for the children. I've had two attend through the past year, one now in the toddler room and one in the baby room. My little ones have progressed very fast since starting. The eldest vocabulary is fantastic, wide and varied. He loves the routines that have been set up there. They taught him to feed himself and is currently nearing potty training. The open-door policy shows how transparent they are. Being an ex-primary teacher, I'm convinced they would get outstanding in their next Ofsted. Well done to all the staff, including the chef, who makes the most deliciously nutritious meals. The nursery is managed by two fantastic women. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this nursery as the best in Childwall!

My daughter was extremely apprehensive about starting nursery for the first time in February at eleven months old, after spending time only with me at home. Two members of staff in the baby room were very reassuring during her settling in sessions and communication has been excellent, despite the additional challenges of the pandemic. My daughter has soon settled in and has developed a lovely relationship with the staff and is making excellent progress. I have also found the admin staff and management to be very good at communicating and only have praise for the nursery setting and staff.

My son had started to get anxious about attending nursery, he would always be in tears at the mention of nursery, however, with lots of support from the nursery staff he started to feel more comfortable. He always comes out of nursery with such a big smile. My daughter is always ready to go to nursery and can't get enough of nursery!

Both my girls have attended this nursery for around 18 months and absolutely love it. The teachers and staff are brilliant with them and always go above to make sure they have an enjoyable, rememberable day. They both get so excited to go in every day. The nursery were brilliant at helping me and directing me with funding I am entitled to and made everything so understandable for me by breaking down everything. They always go above and beyond.
