Set in a spacious Victorian house, the nursery is located opposite Timperley Sports Club. Elmscot’s child-led active learning environment stimulates little imaginations and there is access to extensive play resources which excite and inspire children to play and learn.

Their location enables much of the time to be spent outdoors in a very large garden, as well as trips to the local park. The garden incorporates a bouncy, artificial grass area and a covered play space allowing all-weather play and fresh air.

Elmscot nurtures life-long learners with the creativity to grow and adapt, whatever the future holds. The curriculum is developed by qualified early years’ teachers following an EYFS framework, delivered by a qualified team working towards school readiness.

Children are individually supported to reach their full potential, with activities tailored to their stage and learning. Elmscot also involve parents with daily updates from their child’s key worker via the Tapestry app. with news, achievements and the weekly menu.

The children’s food is prepared always using fresh and locally-sourced ingredients and all menus are approved by a registered dietitian.

My daughter loves her nursery days. I have complete confidence in the staff who care for her who are kind, well presented and passionate about developing and encouraging the children. If you ever have a query, these are answered swiftly. I am very happy with Elmscot, so much so, my second child has
been registered to attend when I return to work. I would highly recommend Elmscot to anyone.

Elmscot Altrincham is a fabulous nursery. Both of our girls are there 3 days a week and get excited about their “nursery days”. Not only is it a first-class facility in terms of food, learning and physical space (they have an amazing garden!) but the management and team there are second to none. They
genuinely love working with children and that shows in everything they do.
Whilst pregnant with my first, we were recommended Elmscot but knowing I had to eventually leave my precious bundle was daunting. But I had to go back to work so finding somewhere with my extremely high standards was crucial. I needn’t have worried because after our tour, nearly 5 years ago now, we fell in love with the place and their team. Our settle sessions were calm and happy and two babies later, we are extremely happy at Elmscot. They care for our children so well, our girls love them too!
They have great extras like Forest School and yoga which the girls love too.
Go for a visit!

Our little boy started at Elmscot in September 2019 and has absolutely thrived. He settled very quickly thanks to the care and attention he receives from all of the staff. It has been reassuring to know that even when he has been upset, he can be easily calmed because he has developed great relationships
in Willow Room. There are a great range of activities, which have brought on his development. There is a great variety of healthy meals on the menu too. I would recommend Elmscot without hesitation

Our daughter has settled very quickly since joining in September 2019, which is a credit to the excellent team in the Willow room. All the staff know her name and are up to date with anything that’s going on with her; we get reports at the end of each day with details of the activities she’s done throughout
the day. There is always a good variety of things going on, and the menu for breakfast/lunch/dinner changes daily. Her key worker and the senior are both fantastic. We’re delighted with everything so far.

We looked around many nurseries in the area and on first viewing, I immediately got a great feeling about Elmscot Altrincham. The staff are lovely and provide amazing care for the children. The communication from management is fantastic and parents are kept fully up to speed with everything that is
going on. The hand over on collection is great and the staff always give a full brief of what's happened that day, what your child has been doing, how well they have slept and eaten etc. They also update the app weekly and sometimes daily and it is completely tailored to your own child. It is a great way to be kept on the loop with what they have been doing and to see how they are developing alongside the EYFS guidelines. The children seem to do completely varied activities so no 2 days are the same and they also combine fun activities with educational ones too.
I cannot recommend it enough.

My son absolutely loves coming to nursery each week. He has settled so well thanks to the incredible team. Management are hands-on, friendly and approachable and I know that when I come to collect my little one, they are always around - sometimes even pinching snuggles!

My daughter is in the Maple room at Elmscot and always enjoys her time there. The team are fantastic and take such good care of her. I can also see the improvement in her language due to the activities and learning that the staff do with them. They are always doing something different and she always
comes home with lots of artwork and different crafts. The food they provide at Elmscot is excellent, but also very nutritious. The team at Elmscot are so friendly and welcoming and my daughter and us love it there! I would recommend it to anyone.

My second child is now attending Elmscott after my first started at 7 months until pre-school and had the most amazing experience, as my second child is now. I feel confident and relieved that my child is in a safe and secure environment being well looked after and coming on in leaps and bounds. His
confidence and development are coming on during each day he attends. I feel comfortable to approach the staff if the need ever arises.

My son started at Elmscot Nursery when he was 9 months and has loved his time there, he is now 3 years old and moved through 3 rooms, making friends with other children and staff in each.
Every staff member is friendly, knows my son by name and is happy to chat.
His key workers have always been
approachable and able to update me on his progress.
I'll be sad for him to leave.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with the provision that Elmscot Day Nursery provides for our son. He is a happy little boy and this is due to the love, care and support he had from all staff at Elmscot Day Nursery. He has access to a vast array of learning experiences and he is always keen to
tell us about the new things he has learnt in the day. We are delighted with the progress he has made at Elmscot Day Nursery and very proud of the achievement he has experienced so far. This is down to the sheer commitment of all involved in his care. Thank you Elmscot Day Nursery.

Our son loves this nursery and we are delighted with his progress at Elmscot. The nursery has a terrific atmosphere and the staff are all excellent - helpful, friendly, professional and dedicated to their work. The food provided is healthy and of an exceptionally high quality.
