The whole team are so welcoming and I feel that when my eldest was there she loved every single room and now my second child is there it's the same feeling of warmth / loving and care that they give - this is from all the staff. They take the kids for great trips outside too

My boy started to attend Elmscot Nursery on Stockport Road from when he was 10 months old. I was worried at first as didn't know if he'd settle in well being so young. However, all the staff are so warm and provide nurturing care to all the children there. It feels like a big family. He is 3 and a half now and he absolutely loves going to this nursery. He even wants to go to nursery during the weekend. Children have lots of educational and fun activities daily, they learn to play different musical instruments and also have forest school and learn about nature and wildlife. All the staff are such a credit to this nursery. Welcoming, friendly, relaxed and professional throughout. The only regret I have is that my older son didn't attend this nursery. Thank you so much for providing such good care to our precious little ones and hiring the right, lovely people to work in your nursery.

Our children are extremely happy at Elmscot Day Nursery & Nursery School. The staff are really engaged and connected with the children, and make a significant effort to engage parents with nursery life too. The nursery organises wonderful activities for the children, including forest school, feeding the ducks in the park, arts and crafts and a focus on educational learning in the older rooms. They also have a great menu for the children there.

The staff at Elmscot Day Nursery & Nursery School are just incredible - they look after the most precious person in the world with the utmost care. They really take the time to understand each child and what makes them tick and build beautiful meaningful relationships, helping shape the little people they will become and teaching key skills like kindness, sharing, and communication as well as practical skills like learning to feed themselves. The effort they put into each day and the wonderful array of activities is fantastic. They keep me well informed through tapestry and calls if needed so I have the confidence my child is progressing, safely, and developing in the right way. The food is incredible too - so varied and nutritious so I know my child is getting a great balanced diet. I am so glad we chose Elmscot - the whole team is fantastic!

We have been so pleased with Elmscot. The staff are really kind and friendly and they take a genuine interest in your child. Our son has come on so much since starting there and it’s great to know he’s learning new skills and having lots of fun at the same time.

Both my children have attended Elmscot nursery on Stockport Road Timperley and I have always been so thrilled with their learning and general happiness being at the setting. All the team are warm and loving, you can't ask more for your little ones!

A fantastic setting! Warm and caring towards the children, safe and secure while providing creative, fun and exciting activities daily. Members are staff go above and beyond for the children, I can't recommend them highly enough.

When we were choosing a nursery for our second child we knew immediately he would go to Elmscot just as his sister had. The caring and nurturing ethos ensures both our children have made incredible progress across all areas of the early years framework. But more importantly than that, they were (and are) extremely happy. Because Elmscot puts the child at the heart of all they do our son has felt safe to explore, investigate, make mistakes and push boundaries in the knowledge he will be gently guided in the best possible way. All the staff are warm and approachable and communication is fantastic! This means we, as parents, always feel we are a part of our child's learning journey. In our opinion, Elmscot is simply the best!

I could not speak more highly of the nursery. The staff have always been very pleasant and helpful. My little one was very upset when he first started but they quickly put him at ease and helped him settle in. He now reaches for his key worker and is all smiles at drop off! The activities they do are wonderful developmentally and very varied. I’m always very impressed when we get pictures sent! My son always has second helpings of all the food too so that’s another thumbs up. Elmscott is a lovely nursery I highly recommend.

We’re particularly impressed by the variety and quality of food and it’s been really helpful hearing about how her eating habits are developing.

Elmscot is outstanding. We have used Elmscot for three and a half years, and their care for our children has been exemplary. They tailor their care according to your child needs. We regularly receive challenges at home, which introduced new ideas of interacting with your child. We are encouraged to share these challenges so the children can discuss/share them at nursery with their friends. Nutrition is a top priority for Elmscot, and the children prefer their food to our homecooked food! We would highly recommend Elmscot.

After being left with no child care on my return to work from maternity leave, Elmscot were absolutely amazing at accommodating my and my child’s needs. From the second we got the phone call from her key worker to arrange settle sessions, it was clear how helpful and considerate the staff were. When I came with my daughter, every single staff member said hello and acknowledged my little girl. The staff are fantastic at giving you a review of the day upon collection. The activities they do are so engaging and always have the EYFS and interests of the children in mind. We could not be happier with Elmscot and feel our little girl is lucky to attend such a brilliant nursery.

This is a lovely nursery. I found it very difficult to find a setting I was happy with however Elmscot was always welcoming and friendly from the start. The staff are lovely, and very caring and reassuring. It made the transition to nursery a lot easier than I had anticipated and my little girl is settling in really well thanks to the wonderful staff. I know that when I drop her off she will be doing a range of fun activities and playing, and will be eating healthy meals, and will be well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elmscot Nursery.

I am very happy with this nursery, my daughter is already improving in many ways since starting in January such as eating food she wouldn’t touch at home, making lots of friends and overall in a better mood being here. The staff are excellent and very caring which makes me feel happy to know she is well cared for. After being at a different nursery where my daughter did not seem happy she seems to have settled here straight away, I couldn’t ask for a better place for her to be.

Me and my wife have had our son at Elmscot since he was 9 months old. He has been at this nursery now a little over 6 months and our experience has been nothing but perfect. Elmscot makes you feel at ease leaving your child with them at such an early age and keep you in the loop with everything that happens good or bad (by bad I mean our son bumping his head whilst learning/trying to walk as kids do!) Recently Elmscot conducted a parent's evening via zoom which was wonderful for me and my wife - we got to ask lots of questions and our sons key worker who completed the zoom call with us was great and really informative with all his recent developments. They also have an app called Tapestry which is updated weekly with information and photos of our son to keep us updated about his time in the nursery. They also share additional activities for us to try at home with our son which is very helpful.

From day one, our daughter's progress at Elmscot has been outstanding. She loves attending due to the excellent staff creating a fantastic environment to learn, play and grow. She has come on leaps and bounds during her time at Elmscot. Highly recommended.

We approached Elmscot at the very last minute for a place for our 9-month-old. The manager was so accommodating and pulled out all the stops to help. The nursery is full of enthusiasm and energy and it is clear that every member of the team takes such pride in their roles. We were very impressed with the wide range of activities on offer, the space in the baby rooms (there’s two), the focus on the outdoors and how warm and friendly the staff were. Our daughter has only been at Elmscot for a week but she already seems settled and excited to arrive in the morning. The nursery app used by Elmscot to track development is better than some alternatives we’ve seen and the welcome material and paperwork for a new starter is really thorough. We’ve also been very impressed with the level of communication and feedback we have from the team in our daughter’s room. The return to work process has been much easier for us knowing our daughter is at Elmscot and will be having a fun-filled day.

The nursery is a loving and safe environment for my child. Standards of care are high, and the children also experience extra activities by companies coming into the nursery.

Our girl started at Elmscot when she was 9 months old which was very daunting as parents...less so it seems for her as she absolutely loves it there! She had the best keyworker and didn't have a chance to miss us with the wide range of activities on offer. She also established her reputation for eating all the food but when it's that good, why wouldn't you?

She's now been at Elmscot for almost 2 years and her development has been fantastic. We are constantly impressed with the things she can do and she comes home chatting away about staff and friends alike. She's certainly not behind on any aspect and I'm assured she's having the best start in life.

Even though she spends most of her time there, she still has her own personality which is encouraged and something I love about Elmscot. It takes us so long to leave as we talk to all staff on the way out: they all know her and take the time to stop. It's a very personal feel which when leaving your most precious thing is how you want it

My daughter has been at Elmscot for the last 3 years and we are very happy with the standard of care provided. The staff are wonderful with the children and do so many fantastic activities with them. My second daughter is about to start and we had no hesitation in choosing Elmscot for her.
