Acorns Day Nursery consists of five versatile play rooms that allow the provider to carry out age-specific learning goals. The aim of experienced childcare professionals is to ensure each child is happy, with their health and security safeguarded and with parents fully informed of progress.

Registered for fifty-six children, the nursery has both indoor and outdoor play areas, making an excellent contribution to learning and development, with staff up-to-date with the objectives of the Early Years Foundation Stage as well as being compliant with Ofsted standards.

Words cannot justify how amazing the girls are. We have had a really tough few weeks recently with the loss of our baby boy and the way the staff supported us meant more than anything. We call the staff at Acorns Day Nursery our family as we would honestly be lost without them. They adore our daughter
just as much as we do. An amazing team who work so well together. Thank you!

My son started at this nursery just after his first birthday and me and my husband are very happy with the progress he's made. He's turned out to be very friendly and sociable, easily adjusts to different situations and with different caregivers, he's learnt to independently eat and drink here.
He's
now very confident with his walking. He is confidently holding pens, pencils and paint bruises. The nurses here are very caring and compassionate. He certainly enjoys his cuddles he gets.

Acorns have provided excellent care for both of our boys over the last 4 years. We have been really pleased with the relationships they have developed with their key workers. Great staff. The outdoor play area offers great outdoor learning opportunities which was something we particularly wanted for

We have had three of our children attend Acorns Day Nursery, our eldest is now 11, next 9 and our youngest 3. I cannot praise the staff enough. They really love the children and care for them as if they are their own. Our eldest and youngest used to cry when they first arrived at nursery and on both
occasions, I was always put at ease and felt confident leaving the children to head off to work. I never felt I needed to call to see if they were ok - as I truly felt they were at home!!! I will miss the staff and all the friends we have made at Acorn - as our youngest moves on to new pastures! primary school in September '17!

My son started attending Acorns Day Nursery end of 2015 and continues until today. He could not be in a better place. It is absolutely amazing throughout. The staff is lovely and always helpful. They pay a lot of attention to his personal development and we have regular reviews. He is always happy and
wants to go there very day. The food is very good also. I could not recommend it enough.
