Acorns Day Nursery

My daughter has been attending Acorns for a while and has continued to thrive in her development. She is a happy, confident and funny little girl and the care she has received from staff members has been lovely. She is learning and progressing every day.

My child comes home happy every day and can't wait to go back. We have had two children at Acorns now and are pleased with the way they have been looked after.

Acorns was an exceptional start for our wee girl. She started at 6 months old. Her key worker made handing her over at the door much easier. She made so much effort to get to know her on such a personal level. We felt safe in the knowledge she was well looked after and loved every day at nursery.

We have been very happy with the care our child received at Acorns Nursery. He has just left to start school and is now a confident little boy thanks to the staff who provided a caring, nurturing, and fun place for him to grow and develop.

Excellent nursery, with the most amazing, caring, and loving staff. I could not fault the nursery and have been so happy sending my daughter and son to Acorns over the last four years.

My daughter is excited to go to nursery, she loves the staff, her friends, and the experiences she gains there. I feel very secure and safe in the knowledge the staff keep her safe, happy, and developing well. The staff are always approachable, friendly and go the extra mile to help you whenever they can. I highly recommend Acorns to any prospective parent.

My daughters both did really well at Acorns. They joined at a difficult time just after covid and having moved across the country but they were made to feel incredibly welcome. They started as slightly shy, cautious personalities and are now confident little humans. They eat well and sleep well in Acorns' care, and talk really fondly of the staff. Acorns is a lovely nursery family which we highly recommend.

Both of my children have attended this nursery (one currently), and we are very happy with this service. The staff are very responsible and caring. The preschool facility is fantastic, and it really helped my daughter's transition into primary school reception. With the new COVID measures, I feel safe with their approach, and more importantly, my son is still enjoying his time there.

So pleased we chose this nursery for our children, such a warm, friendly atmosphere. Always so welcoming to the children and parents. Every member of staff acts with a genuine interest in the well being and education of our son and daughter, who both come out smiling at the end of each day. Would not hesitate to recommend it.

I couldn't be happier with our experience at Acorns. The staff are fantastic and I can tell that they genuinely love the children. My daughter loves nursery and is totally at home there. Not a bad word to say.

4. Better communication, especially during COVID.

The only negative is the lack of email/online contact/connection. Would make communications a lot easier. Bills and invoices too.

Some changing of the menu. We know some dishes are less popular.

My son has developed in leaps and bounds since starting here. The girls are amazing and always helping and advising me and dad along the way with anything we may have concerns with. Since being in nursery our son is a very happy and sociable little character and is very confident and this is from attending nurser and also very vocal too. Thanks, girls for the time, attention and care given to him we really appreciate you all.

Excellent staff and great learning environment. I have had 3 kids at this nursery over 8 years and the standards haven't dropped. I would definitely recommend this nursery to others.

My child has been with Acorns since he was 3 months old, he is now 19 months! I could not ask for a better level of care for my child. He thrives at Acorns and loves all of the carers who look after him.

Acorns is a loving, caring nursery with the personal wellbeing and development of the children a top priority. Our 2nd child is now at Acorns and loves it!
