Acorns Day Nursery

We have been so impressed with how friendly, relaxed and professional Acorns staff are. They were so understanding and accommodating when we moved house and transferred our child to the nursery. They make our lives easier and reduce parental stress knowing our child is happy and safe. Big thank you to all the team.

When viewing this nursery, it felt friendly, inviting, interactive, clean and caring. This feeling has never left. Handovers are met with professionalism and an understanding of our child's needs. As parents, we recognise our child can be highly emotive and have never felt like it has been difficult for staff to care for him. We trust that all the staff safeguard our child by completing incident forms, providing a safe and secure environment, and politely challenging any pre-existing marks (e.g. a very ominous red mark caused by juice of eating frozen berries at home). We would highly recommend Acorns Day Nursery.

Acorns nursery for my little daughter is the right fit. She loves being there. All educators are fantastic, very caring and loving. Thank you ever so much for taking care of our little ones while we go to work. You are all amazing.

This is such a lovely nursery. My little one settled in so quickly and has loved it ever since. We love how consistent the staff are, which is really important for the children to feel settled. They all work hard to build relationships with the children and the nursery feels like a big family. Acorns are great at meeting individual children's needs if needed (sleep etc) and the outdoor space is brilliant.

Brilliant nursery. Lovely staff led by the manager and another member of staff in particular. Our daughter is very happy there and has been going since 1 year old. She is now 3 and has developed significantly over the past two years being there. Top-class nursery in the area! We are very happy.

The staff are all lovely and you know your child is being cared for to the highest standard. My older son also went to Acorns and he loved it just as much.

A wonderful nursery. My son has been going since he was 9 months old and he adores it. I felt I was in safe hands leaving my baby with them and have been so grateful for their care ever since. All the staff at Acorns are doing a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

Acorns have been fantastic with looking after my daughter whilst I work full-time. I know she is safe and loved while I'm away. She has so much fun each day which I can see in the app. My daughter is vegetarian and they provide her with balanced, nutritious food. I recommend them to everyone I know.

He is my only son and felt so anxious about leaving him. I didn't need to worry as Acorns has become his second home. He is so well looked after by all the staff, always smiling when we drop off and collect him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents.

My son has been at Acorns since he was 10 months old, he is now in the preschool room and has loved every minute of his time there. The staff are wonderful and have become like friends to him and our family. We love the outdoor space and love that he has access to this every day, whatever the weather.

Each day they have such a range of activities and I love come rain or shine they get fresh air in great garden area. Would highly recommend it's like dropping my daughter off with family.

My child loves going. She is very happy to be left and usually doesn't like not being with me (her mum). She has really come on since starting there a year ago. Every morning we are greeted with a happy, friendly smile. The staff are always welcoming.

I have 3 children attending Acorns Nursery, twin boys and another boy who joined a few months ago. I could not be happier with their development. The staff are well trained and they work with us to establish good routines. They have created a nurturing environment and my children really love coming to nursery. The staff are caring and supportive. We are updated on their activities, including photos and detailed descriptions of what they are doing. It is reassuring for us, when we are away for work, that such dedicated people are looking after our children. I cannot recommend a better nursery!

My youngest has a food allergy and multiple food intolerances but Acorns staff have taken all the necessary precautions with his meals which shows the level of care they are willing to give,

My daughter has been attending now for the last 4 months and is enjoying every moment. She has settled into the baby room well and is confident with her room staff too. I am very happy with her care and look forward to watching her grow and develop further.
