Aunt Mary's Day Nursery

My son can be very shy, especially around children and people he doesn't know, the aunts at nursery have always been so good with him, make him feel part of everything even when he would rather just hide under a rock! Can not thank them all enough for the love and support they have shown to him, and me! Brilliant nursery and highly recommended.

I currently have my grandson at Aunt Mary's. He will be leaving this time to go to big school, and I will then bring my 2nd grandson to you guys, I can't thank you enough for how well you all are with not just my grandson but all of the other children at Aunt Mary's. The location is fantastic for all the little ones. You do so much with them from potty training them to taking them on little adventures in the dell. I will recommend Aunt Mary's to everyone I know. Thank you to all of the staff at Aunt Mary's and to the person who prepares the meals for the children.

Before I even had my little one, I had already had my heart set on her coming to Aunt Mary's, mainly due to the beautiful location and the fun adventures I knew the toddlers got to go on. It just seemed like such a unique and perfect setting for a child to go to. Fast forward to my little one turning 1 and she has now been at Aunt Mary's for a month and the difference I have seen already is amazing. She is becoming such a confident girl and can tell she loves her two days a week here. All the Aunties are wonderful and so caring, which is a great reassurance to a first-time Mummy. My girl gets to play outdoors and take part in messy play, which she loves. They update you throughout the day on their app, which is brilliant, as I feel that tiny bit more connected to her, when I'm missing her whilst I'm at work. Thank you for being so wonderful and I'm looking forward to watching her continue to grow in your amazing nursery.

Aunt Mary’s is a fantastic nursery. The staff go above and beyond to care for my son. He comes home beaming from ear to ear. The nursery caters to every child’s needs and never fails. They take the children on walks into the dell regularly allowing them to explore, climb and run! My son always looks forward to attending Aunt Mary’s.

I can’t speak highly enough of Aunt Mary’s nursery, the staff are absolutely brilliant, I have recently given birth to my second child, and toddler room staff have gone above and beyond to support not only my daughter but myself through the transition. They have given helpful tips and advice where appropriate but also have provided me with a listening ear when things have been tough. I love sending my daughter here, knowing she is in safe and caring hands. She always comes home absolutely filthy from playing outside, or going on walks, or crafting, it is always the best sign when their clothes are mucky from having fun all day, my daughter is always beaming and excited to tell me about her day.

The aunties are all lovely and have been looking after our daughter for four months or so now. It is lovely that our daughter comes home and she has either learned a new word, action, dance, etc that she has picked up from Aunt Mary’s nursery.

My son loves coming to this nursey, he's become more confident and outgoing since starting here. He's always on little adventures into the dell and exploring nature which he loves. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. Management are always accommodating and flexible if days and hours need to be changed which is really helpful.

My 3-year-old has been at Aunt Mary's Day Nursery for 7 months and has loved it since day 1. We love everything from the drive down to the beautiful setting each morning to the brilliant handover at the end of the day. She's always got lots to tell me and I'm really happy with the amount of outside time, adventures in the Dell, and the amount of painting and drawing she is able to do. Her eating has improved this last few months thanks to nursery and she's much more open to trying new foods at home now too which has been so helpful. The staff are all incredible and it really does feel like a family. I'll be sending my youngest there soon and feel grateful I can do so in full confidence knowing she will love it too and will be well cared for by the lovely staff.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 2, I have never had a problem with anything and I can not thank the staff enough for looking after my baby the way I would do, they are called aunties for a reason and they will be her aunties forever, thank you guys, continue what you do because your all smashing it.

Aunt Mary's Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery set in a fantastic location. The staff are all friendly and supportive and have nurtured my son from age 2. My son will be finishing in August to start school and he will miss each and every one of the staff. His walks throughout the dell are incredible, providing him with fresh air and incredible views and scenery. The homemade food and the variety of food to choose from has given him a good appetite and he has learnt everything he needs to know and is exactly where he needs to be for starting school. A big thank you to all the staff.

My son attended Aunt Mary's Day Nursery from 2015-2017. He had previously been with a childminder but he came on leaps and bounds once at nursery and he really came out of his shell. My son has SEN needs and although undiagnosed at the time of nursery, the nursery was fantastic with him. After the wonderful experience I had with my son, my daughter now attends. As many will understand, lockdown had an effect on my daughter's development (not being able to go out and explore and meet others as we usually would etc) but coming to nursery really allowed her to interact with children her own age and learn things that she wouldn't necessarily learn at home. Before starting nursery she was extremely reserved and wouldn't talk to anyone outside of the immediate family, now she doesn't stop and I genuinely believe that nursery had a huge impact on that. She has also begun exploring new foods, something that I've never been able to get her to do at home. I would 100% recommend the nursery!

My daughter has been at Aunt Mary's Day Nursery for eighteen months now and absolutely loves it, when I pick her up she always has a big smile on her face and usually a big hug for the staff members. The team have supported me with sleep, toilet training and general advice, we work in partnership on any milestones we need to reach which is great. They are very flexible with hours and usually accommodate changes I need to make with hours or days due to work commitments which often isn’t the case with nurseries and of course, it’s in the middle of a nature reserve so the kids are getting experiences in nature that you wouldn’t be able to get at most nurseries. She will be devastated to leave when it’s time for school!

My daughter absolutely loves it here. We couldn’t imagine sending her anywhere else. As soon as we get out of the car and she can see the nursery she has the biggest grin, claps and says ‘there’ she is 14 months old and as soon as she sees one of the staff she wants to hug them and immediately waves goodbye to me. Varied menu that we know ahead of time. Our daughter can’t have dairy and they’ve been great at accommodating for this.

My son started at Aunt Mary's Day Nursery about two years ago, and we are gutted that his time there is now almost over. He settled in incredibly quickly, which was no mean feat for a child who up to that point had spent about half his life in lockdown. The aunties are, without exception, all incredibly kind, friendly, welcoming and supportive. My son loves coming home and telling us about what he’s been up to, and it’s clear from his tales that the children are all treated with love and respect by all members of staff. He loves the meals he’s served and is now a lot more open to trying new foods. His special dietary needs are always catered to. The office staff are professional and approachable and have always gone the extra mile to be flexible when we’ve needed to change plans. The setting of Healy Dell is idyllic and is the perfect place to take little ones on adventures in the woods. I’d definitely recommend Aunt Mary's Day Nursery to anyone looking for a friendly, welcoming nursery for their child.

My twins have attended this setting since around 6 months old and the quality of care has been outstanding throughout, from staff communication to flexibility, professionalism and stimulating play and outdoor fun for the children. They go on regular outdoor walks exploring the beautiful nature reserve and surroundings, staff always add pictures and observations of this and other developments through their tailored family app, couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

My child has been attending this nursery since last year, I'm so glad I chose Aunt Mary's Day Nursery as I can always see how happy my child is, other parents also comment on it. My child is developing so well due to learning new things and being supported in developing at the right level, and I'm always amazed when the aunties do focus child weeks as my Child is coming on leaps and bounds due to the care the nursery provides.

We were recommended Aunt Mary's Day Nursery by our friends who had a child there. The setting is amazing and very accessible now the road has been made good. Although aesthetically the building interior could be and is planned for improvement, it is functional. However, we have never had any concerns over the happiness of our children whilst at nursery. They have always been happy and content on drop off and pick up. The 'Aunties' provide care and constant activities for the children. Thank you!

My daughter was very shy when she first came and the staff were brilliant they have made her a confident little girl. All the staff are incredible and every time I drop her off I know she is in safe hands. I always get advice on anything I need so helpful. My daughter has come on with her language, counting, shapes, animals she has learnt so much. The food is outstanding she enjoys her meals very healthy. Having more children this has to be the best nursery I've found and I'm glad my little girl goes, excellent through and through.

The staff at the nursery are great! The location of the nursery is ideal for the kids to go out and explore the nature reserve. It's great to see staff members with great care and knowledge, interact, teach and have such fun in their job roles while looking after my daughter. The nursery is packed inside & outside with all sorts of toys/opportunities for activities. I wouldn't have my daughter anywhere else as the staff members my daughter and I have come to know and trust are awesome! Keep up the great work guys!

Both my children have attended/attends this nursery, they both absolutely love it. I can feel at ease once they are at nursery knowing my son is getting the best care possible, he adores the staff here too. I would highly recommend this nursery.
