Paintpots Newall Green Day Nursery is located in Newall Green, Wythenshawe and is in an ideal location with easy access to major transport and commuter routes both into Manchester and its also very close to Manchester Airport.

Paintpots Nursery operates from a purpose-built nursery building which consists of four age groups split into four different rooms. The under two's spaces has lots of sensory items as the babies begin to explore and discover their senses. They have their own separate sleep space. Toddler and Preschool rooms have different areas such as sand and water, construction, art, home corner, role play and dressing up, physical ramp, music area, maths and more! All rooms have direct access to a dedicated outdoor area as well as smaller areas that can be divided to be more age specific. The nursery has its own onsite sensory room.

They achieved 'Good' on the recent OFSTED inspection in August 2023.

Paintpots team consists of a mixture of qualified and experienced staff and up to three modern apprentices, all enthusiastic and motivated with every child’s best interests at heart. Experienced staff set a great example for the apprentices who are eager to learn and develop further. All staff have a detailed understanding of the EYFS and carefully observe and plan activities for all children to continuously learn and develop through play based activities. All staff are first-aid trained.

To ensure best practice the team has regular staff meetings and use parent questionnaires and meetings with professionals to ensure 'best practice' as well as being able to call upon the support network of the other Paintpots settings.

I'm so happy I made the decision to send my son to Paintpots, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and have made his experience here enjoyable and happy. He has settled in so quickly and comes home saying he loves nursery.
He has a nap there no problem, he eats the home-cooked food no problem,
and has started to make some friends, it's a happy and relaxed atmosphere which helps the kids feel safe and comfortable.
Thank you for providing such a fantastic place and great care for my child.

My son started this nursery and has some dietary requirements and food needs and I couldn't be any happier with the way we have been supported and helped with this. He really enjoys going to nursery and playing with his friends and staff members. The staff members are incredible, each and every single
one of them. The nursery is well-maintained and clean and secure for your children. We've tried other nurseries in and around the area and none come close to how impeccable this nursery is. Although it is a business, it feels more like home-from-home childcare. Thank you for taking such good care of my boy.

My daughter started Paintpots in September 2024. I was so nervous bringing my daughter as with my other child in a different setting (not Paintpots) there were a lot of issues. As soon as my daughter came here the staff were amazing. So reassuring that she would be fine. My daughter loves every minute
she spends at Paintpots and loves the staff. My daughter has developmental issues and speech. So Paintpots has done everything it can to support her and me through it all since she has been here her confidence has come on so much, her speech is a lot better and now they have put extra support in place to make sure she can meet her targets. Without Paintpots I honestly don't know what I would have done, so if anyone is looking for somewhere to bring their child then please consider Paintpots. It honestly is 1 of a kind and you will not get better. Their staff are fantastic and the managers are so understanding and amazing.

My child has been going to Paintpots since she was 2 and now she is over 3. She loves going to nursery and always comes out smiling. The staff in the nursery are welcoming and helpful when needing support around speech and language or support around my child's dietary needs. We love seeing the updates
every day on the app and can communicate easily on this. Definitely would recommend this nursery.

Amazing nursery! My little girl is now 11 months old and has been here since she was 7 months old.

Staff are amazing with my son, he loves going there and always gets excited.

Paintpots Newall Green have been amazing with my son who has additional needs. Always keeping me up to date throughout the day he has come on leaps and bounds! And feel his key worker has a great bond with my son.

Paintpots is an amazing nursery. My son has come on so well since he started attending in September 2022. He has grown in confidence, made friends and loves going. The children have so many learning opportunities through sensory and messy play, and there are always activities ready for the children
each morning. Staff are warm and welcoming and my son loves all of the staff in his room. Staff are kind and caring. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Fantastic nursery! Girls that work here are amazing, managers are so lovely and understanding. Updates are very good throughout the day and newsletters are amazing. My little boy has been going here since his previous nursery closed. Come on so well, has settled in fantastic. Key workers are amazing.
I have no bad points about this nursery, exceeded all my expectations. My little boy has come on so well, talking, engaging with activities and even had his first day trip out. Staff work really well with children and are so caring. 5 star nursery. I will definitely send my next baby here.

This nursery is brilliant! My daughter attended here 9/10 years ago and loved it, it's also still run by the same management. My 2 boys now attend this nursery and also enjoy going every day! They have helped with both my boys confidence! Can't thank them enough. Highly recommend

Paintpots was recommended by my friend whose twin boys attended the nursery. I have to say after looking at other nurseries in the area this was by far the best. The staff in my son's pre toddler room are just amazing, I can't thank them enough. I get a written report each term end to discuss my little
boy's progress. Each day I get an update and pictures to let me know what they have been up to and what he has eaten throughout the day. The staff as a team supported him to become potty trained when he first started. Nothing is too much trouble at all. All staff are friendly and encouraging. I would highly recommend Paintpots nursery, they have been outstanding!

It's a lovely nursery and the staff is very caring and open. The food is very good and I fully trust the staff with my two boys. I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents. Both my sons really enjoy playing outside, dancing and singing. The activities are really tailored to their needs.

My daughter has been at Paintpots since she was 1 year old, starting in the baby room and now in the toddlers. She was a lockdown baby and the staff were all so attentive and caring towards helping her (and us!) settle in, and still now with helping her to potty train! Parents are updated regularly
via the app during the day but still get a full breakdown of their day during handovers. They do a lot to keep the parents involved and always put on little events for us parents too! This is honestly the best nursery we could have chosen.

My daughter started in January and was a typical "lockdown baby", who struggled with meeting new people and adapting to different social situations. She has come on in leaps and bounds and is completely comfortable. She shows this as she runs in each day with a smile on her face and talks about her
little friends as well as the staff whilst at home.
Management have been extremely professional and are very approachable.

Beth

Beth McGrath

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2015

Beth is currently the nursery manager. Beth is based in the office but spends lots of time in the rooms and loves taking part in activities with the children. Beth is our Behaviour Management Lead and Communication champion, supporting team members to complete all relevant assessment paperwork.


Beth has a 7-year-old daughter and 1 year old daughter, and enjoys spending time on family days out at the weekends, and watching films.

Lauren

Lauren Power

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2020

Lauren is our nursery deputy manager. Lauren joined us in 2020 after her maternity leave. She has 15 years of experience working within childcare settings.


Lauren loves messy play and supporting the children to meet their developmental milestones. She enjoys supporting the nursery's quality and sharing new and exciting ideas with the team.


Lauren loves to spend time with her daughter during her time away from the nursery.

Shauna works in our Toddler room and joined us in 2021 after she decided she was ready for a career change.


Shauna is Level 3 qualified. Shauna has fantastic bonds with her key children and families and has a particular passion for supporting children with additional needs.


Shauna loves to spend time with her family and friends and tries to visit family back home in Ireland as much as possible.

Ashley Smith-Murphy

Ashley works in our preschool and has been with the company since March 2021. Ashley enjoys being outdoors, joining in with lots of messy play activities and singing and dancing with the children. Ashley has three children of her own and enjoys spending her time on family days out and socialising with her friends.

Carla Somerville

Carla is based in our Toddler room and is spending some time as a one-to-one, working with children with SEND. Carla has worked in childcare for 14 years, across a number of different settings.


Carla enjoys singing with the children and reading stories.

Stacey works in our Baby room and is Level 3 qualified. Stacey has 17 years of experience within childcare and has worked across all age ranges.
