Paint Pots Nursery is located in the city centre, just off Oxford Road and is in an ideal location with easy access to the railway network as well as major transport and commuter routes in and out of the city.

Paint Pots Nursery operates from the ground floor of a city centre office building which consists of five age groups split into five different rooms. The baby room has lots of sensory items as the babies begin to explore and discover their senses. Toddlers, Nursery 1, Nursery 2 and Pre-school rooms have different areas such as sand and water, construction, art, home corner, role play and dressing up, physical ramp, music area, maths and more! All of the rooms have access to a dedicated outdoor area as well as smaller indoor play area.

Paintpots Manchester was awarded 'Good' in all areas in its most recent Ofsted report in March 2023.

Paint Pots team consists of a mixture of qualified and experienced staff, including QTS and level 6 and also supporting apprentices, all enthusiastic and motivated with every child’s best interests at heart.

Experienced staff set a great example for the apprentices who are eager to learn and develop further.

All staff have a detailed understanding of the EYFS and carefully observe and plan activities for all children to continuously learn and develop through play-based activities.

To ensure best practice the team have regular staff meetings and they use parent questionnaires and meetings with professionals to make sure they are offering 'best practice' as well as being able to call upon the support network of the other Paintpots settings.

My little girl loves coming to nursery, she is always smiling when she comes home. The staff are amazing with her and all the other children. The managers and directors will go above and beyond to make sure all parents are happy with the service they get at the nursery and will sort any problems out
straight away if needed. Everyone is so friendly. Thank you Paintpots for looking after my girl.

My son joined Paintpots almost a year ago after his first birthday. He started in the baby room and is currently in the room for 18-24-month-olds. My husband and I both knew Paintpots was our first choice upon our first visit when we were considering nurseries. There was just a lovely warm feeling
to the place and above all, you could see the kids were happy and relaxed. A year on, we could not be more happy with our choice. The outside of the building may look a little shabby but its biggest strength is its incredible staff. We wanted a place not too big, not too small and Paintpots is just that - there is a real family feel there and everyone says hello. It is absolutely heartwarming to see the close bond my son has with the ladies who look after him. He does a wide range of different activities, has trips out, and he has progressed so much in confidence and ability. I would definitely recommend Paintpots.

My nephew loved his time there, he loved the staff and had strong relationships with them. He has now gone to school ready to begin his new chapter with the help from the staff getting him school ready.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My child has been there for just over 2 years, and she absolutely loves it. The staff are brilliant and have a great bond with the children. The thought of sending a child to nursery can be really daunting, but they really made me feel at ease. My daughter has

I am really happy with this nursery. They accept the child quickly and no need to wait to start with them. The staff are amazing and very close to children. Diversity of Activities in the nursery is great for children's learning and development. They have a lot of activities and trips. The nursery gives
an opportunity for children to learn through messy and sensory play. My daughter enjoys and learns every day. She was very happy to join two different trips which were organized by the nursery. I am happy to keep my daughter in this nursery until she starts school.

My baby of 14 months attended Paint Pots nursery of Manchester (Charles street) for 1 month. Although the short-term and the fact that I was foreign, the manager accepted to settle my baby. The staff were excellent, super kind and very professional. At the end of the period, I and my baby were very
sad to leave the nursery. We miss this nursery that revealed a top-level nursery.

I love Paintpots. My son has been at Paintpots since his first birthday and is now getting ready to leave for school now he's four, he has been in all the rooms in the nursery and in each room staff have been so caring and committed to his development. I couldn't ask for more. We also have a daughter
who started at six months old and is currently one and a half, she is thriving at Paintpots and love how open everyone is. Staff are always there for a helping hand and offering all kinds of support. We are sad to say goodbye this year when our son goes to school although glad to still have our daughter here, who we know will grow to be a bright young girl at Paintpots.

My youngest has left for school recently but he is the 3rd child that has gone through Paint Pots over an 8 year period. Working in the city centre, there aren't many childcare options but I can't fault the managers for the nursery they run. It's amazing, a real home from home. The construction works
haven't been ideal but now that they've almost finished, it's been worth the effort.


I doubt there will be any more children, I think 3 is enough but I can't recommend Paintpots enough and I still pop in with the children if we're passing as they have a real bond with the staff.

My son loved it, he never wanted to leave and we only finished as we moved away and he was ready for school. The only gripe would be the outside could be a bit bigger, but it's the City Centre and what can you do!? The use of the Nursery minibus helps though and they visited the Science and Industry
Museum, Sea Life Centre, Manchester Museum, it was just great. The girls are fantastic, I really mean that. We keep in touch regularly via Facebook, that's how much it means to our family!!

My twins attended Paintpots Manchester Day Nursery for 4 years whilst I worked in Manchester. The Managers were all excellent, always eager to help and the room leaders and key workers that both my children had were brilliant. I don't think we'll be having any more children, think 3 is enough :), however,
I'd be more than happy to suggest Paintpots to anyone looking for a Nursery that's a little bit different than the identikit larger chains, much more personal!!

My daughter started at Paintpots in Feb'14 and has thrived under the care of the staff who have been attentive and supportive from day one. She enjoys all of the activities on offer especially the outdoor play. We are pleased with the variety of meals on offer and as such she is not a fussy eater at
home. Her key workers have played an enormous part in her success with potty training, learning her colours/letters/numbers and we continue to be amazed at how far she has progressed in the last two years. We will have no qualms in sending our son to Paintpots on my return to work.

From day one we felt like our son was in a secure environment. We were anxious about leaving him for long periods in the day and the staff were very reassuring. The daily diaries including what they had eaten, what activities they had done, and toileting etc were fantastic. As he progressed through
the nursery rooms we noticed the growing confidence and new skills he was learning. Our son always came home from nursery very happy with tales to tell of the exciting things he had done in the day. All the staff are very approachable, and have a genuine interest in your child's well being and life. Steph in particular in the classroom is a fantastic nursery teacher. I would highly recommend Paintpots, and we are very sad to leave the Paintpots family!

She has driven change within the organisation, transforming throughout all areas of the business. Another interesting bit of history is that she has been with Paintpots Nurseries for over 10 years, with 7 years being at our Cheshire setting and nearly 3 years being with our Manchester Branch. Sophie never stops improving her approach to bringing together successful multi-disciplined teams on early years projects.
