Paint Pots Nursery is located in the city centre, just off Oxford Road and is in an ideal location with easy access to the railway network as well as major transport and commuter routes in and out of the city.

Paint Pots Nursery operates from the ground floor of a city centre office building which consists of five age groups split into five different rooms. The baby room has lots of sensory items as the babies begin to explore and discover their senses. Toddlers, Nursery 1, Nursery 2 and Pre-school rooms have different areas such as sand and water, construction, art, home corner, role play and dressing up, physical ramp, music area, maths and more! All of the rooms have access to a dedicated outdoor area as well as smaller indoor play area.

Paintpots Manchester was awarded 'Good' in all areas in its most recent Ofsted report in March 2023.

Paint Pots team consists of a mixture of qualified and experienced staff, including QTS and level 6 and also supporting apprentices, all enthusiastic and motivated with every child’s best interests at heart.

Experienced staff set a great example for the apprentices who are eager to learn and develop further.

All staff have a detailed understanding of the EYFS and carefully observe and plan activities for all children to continuously learn and develop through play-based activities.

To ensure best practice the team have regular staff meetings and they use parent questionnaires and meetings with professionals to make sure they are offering 'best practice' as well as being able to call upon the support network of the other Paintpots settings.

Really happy with this nursery. The staff are so kind and welcoming, and it's clear they genuinely care about the kids. We're very happy with Paint Pots Nursery. The staff are the star: young, energetic, experienced and truly sensitive. Communication is excellent-everything is logged on the app with photos and quick updates. Activities are varied and fun: visiting dance teacher, baking, water/fruit play, fake animals,
stories and pictures. Children go outdoors very often and there are occasional trips; the outside area isn't huge nor green, but it's used well. Food used to include processed items (e.g., spaghetti hoops) and be a bit salty/sugary; since new guidelines the menu is clearly healthier, with no added sugar. Overall, a warm, caring setting where our child arrives and leaves happy and enthusiastic. The team are sweet, attentive and collaborative-we couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

We have been taking our child to Paintpots for a year now, since they were a baby and we cannot be happier. The teachers are amazing, very attentive, caring and kind. The nursery has gone through an upgrade of the rooms and they are clean, spacious and have many toys, in general they are well equipped.
The nursery has an outside space which is big enough for play and allow fresh air. What I love most about this nursery is how loving, nurturing, educational and safe is, as well as all the activities that they offer to the children. When I leave my child I know they are safe and happy, I cannot recommend enough this nursery!

My daughter has been at Paintpots Manchester for 10 months now and she loves it, which means we love it too. She is very happy on drop off and pick up and I have observed her seeking comfort from staff who support her in a caring and genuinely sweet way. The staff all know her by name, even those who
aren't working in her room.
We have asked her to have a no sugar and low salt diet and the nursery have facilitated this.
They have taken the children on field trips which she has enjoyed and she can recall the names of all her close workers and children in the room, which tells me she likes spending time with them.
As a city centre nursery, the outdoor space is limited but they do the best with what's available and it's great to know they go outdoors everyday at least once.

My son has been at Paintpots nursery for nearly a year now and they've been great. He loves going, loves the staff, they do lots of different activities with them daily which is fab. I feel regularly updated, which I love - when comparing with friends who have children at other nursery's I think the

An absolute joy to send my son to this nursery, the staff are attentive and he has come on on leaps and bounds since he first joined nearly two years ago. We have daily updates on his activities/meals/sleep etc, as well as in-depth reports on his development every term. The staff clearly care so much

I see that my daughter is happy attending the nursery. I feel reassured placing my daughter at Paint Pots nursery because I know that she's safe. Indeed, the staff are very attentive and take really good care of the children. I would prefer the nursery to have a waiting room, especially during wintertime,
which is essential.

The preschool teachers treated my child as if he was their own, and he loved going there every day. On his last day, he even said he would come back to visit again, which shows how happy he felt at nursery.


It was very emotional on both sides, and I could see how much he meant to the staff. What

touched me most is that not only his own teachers, but also staff and teachers from other rooms, took part in his journey and always remembered his name.


The nursery offers a wide variety of activities indoors and outdoors, some of which I had never experienced with my child before - it even inspired me to try some of them again together.


I'm very grateful for the love, care, and support given to my child, and we will always remember the nursery with warm feelings.

All 3 of our children have attended PaintPots Nursery. They have been in all the different classes. We love the staff and management at the Nursery, the kids all loved coming to the Nursery and settled in well, due to the patience of the staff. The staff and management are caring, friendly, compassionate,
loving and communicate well. Since 2020 to 2024 April our children have attended the nursery. I am not someone who writes reviews but felt the Nursery was deserving of one. 10/10.

My first choice was Paintpots as it had good recommendations. I've had all my 3 sons starting here, my first son started back in 2019 he had development issues and has grown in confidence throughout the years whilst there from first steps and talking and making friends with staff and children. I have
placed my other 2 sons aged 2 years and 10 months old and they are expressing their personalities and they're always happy to be there, the staff are lovely and if I have an issue they will resolve it there and then. They have good toys for all ages, the staff like to explore different things to encourage my children and learn new things within their day

5 stars! Friendly people, cosy and family atmosphere. Our daughter started when she was 9 months old, and now she is 2! Since the first impressions, chatting with the nurses, we had felt confident about the place. All the classrooms, the outside garden, toys, furniture, and spaces are just thought and
organized around children's needs. Great organisation for quiet time, too. Everything is at their hands. Rooms are good size and never too packed. Food is nutritious and home-made, she has been eating on her own since she was 12 months and that definitely is 'Paintpots' merit; she was a bit fussy at first and now she always asks: for more. Never had a disappointment. Communication and development assessments are accurate. The different activities planned daily look extremely fun, and we think she is having all the support to grow up into an audacious and happy little person. We all love this place, the best place we could have wished for her!

My son recently joined Paintpots, after them coming through via recommendation on a mums group on social media. As a lot of new mums/parents feel, I was nervous about returning to work and leaving my child in other people's care, however, it was the best thing I could have done. The nursery workers
have been absolutely brilliant, my son loves nursery, full of smiles with his nursery worker and I can tell he’s come along way with his development milestones since joining too. I also like the daily updates I receive on their app, helps to feel connected and makes you feel better when you can see they’ve been enjoying their day and doing lots of activities. Brilliant nursery, would 100% recommend.

Georgina has a wealth of experience drawn from her 14 years of experience, enabling her to bring a unique insight and approach into the world of early years. She has driven change within the organisation, transforming throughout all areas of the business. As a mother of three, Georgina also understands what life is like as a Paintpots parent, and is passionate about giving every child the best start in life.
