Kids Planet Christie Fields has a philosophy based on providing nurturing environments for children, alongside a supportive approach to parents. Part of the Kids Planet Group, Kids Allowed Christie Fields opened in May 2006 and caters for babies through to preschool.

All nursery centres are purpose-built and have become award-winning facilities, including secure outdoor play areas, quality resources and a team of carers who are driven to excel at their provision. The approach is based on listening to and respecting all ideas, whether big or small.

We had a really warm welcome into the nursery. I was made to feel like my daughter was very special. Her individual needs have been attended to well. Excellent use of her favourite books and toys. She has been cuddled and nurtured well.

My son has attended since he was 11 months old and I am delighted with the way he has progressed since he joined. The staff are very caring, attentive and seem incredibly engaged and happy in their work. My son is always excited to arrive and reluctant to leave which says it all. Socially he has developed
well here and his vocabulary and understanding seem to improve the longer he is here. Overall, I couldn't be happier.

My 2 daughters both have used the nursery as well as the holiday clubs and before and after school clubs. The facilities and staff are second to none. The atmosphere is nurturing but the kids have amazing opportunities there as well.
Kids Allowed have then surpassed themselves with looking after my
3rd child. He started at 1 year old and he has a number of additional needs which they have moved mountains to meet. I literally cannot fault any of the team but the managers have made returning to work and managing the mum guilt so much easier. I’m completely assured that while my son is there, his basic needs are met but also they go above and beyond with accessing training, arranging funding, organising and providing 1-1 time. My son has flourished at Kids Allowed and I’m forever grateful for their support and flexibility they show to us as a whole family! Thanks! We really appreciate it.

Can’t recommend highly enough. After going to another nursery and having a negative experience, we were desperate to find somewhere we could trust. The environment is clean, caring and super organised. Like any nursery the staff make it a success. They are friendly, professional and above all they really
care. Our son has settled so quickly, is developing so fast and loves going. Every interaction has been positive and I’d happily recommend to anyone who wants the best care for their child.

My son has recently started in the baby room and from the moment I had the show round to his first day, the whole experience has been extremely positive and welcoming.
I am absolutely confident with leaving my son in such fantastic care, ranging from the centre manager to the key person. Absolutely
delighted with the setting.


After his first day, I received his first painting and a beautiful laminated photograph of him all messy with paint and a huge smile on his face.

My daughter’s 4-year journey through Kids Allowed Christie Fields finally had to end in September when she started reception.
From a tiny little 6 month old who was lovingly cared for in Babies to her time in Woddlers where her language acquisition totally astounded us to a year in Toddlers where she
became the independent, confident, assertive little girl she is today to the most fantastic 2 years upstairs in Pre and Prep-school where she became more school-ready than we could ever have dreamed of, she really did have the most incredible, fun-filled journey any child could ever wish to experience.
The entire staff-team are amazing and they all deserve the highest level of praise possible; they are a credit not only to Kids Allowed Christie Fields but to the childcare profession in general.
I feel privileged that both my children have had what I consider to be the very best start in life and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking for the highest level of childcare they could possibly ask for.

Kids Allowed has been amazing for our son. He’s been there since he was 10 months old so he’s been through all the rooms, and is about to finish prep school as he is moving on to school in September. He has always received high standards of care, different activities all the time and constant love and
support from all the staff. The staff are brilliant - motivated and happy and genuinely want to be there for the children and to enjoy their work - turnover has been low while we’ve been there. A lot of people are snobby about bigger nurseries or groups of nurseries, but in our experience, it gives more capability to offer outstanding and varied care. The facilities are brilliant (all rooms with their own outside space), the nursery have tickets for places like Legoland and Knowsley safari parks, and they go on loads of trips, the staff are well trained...we have loved it and would never want anywhere else for our younger son.

My child is very well treated and enjoys the nursery so much. They do lots of activities and the kids have lots of attention from the teachers and other personal.


We are also very grateful about the flexibility to change the days booked every week and the option to have extra early and extra late

if necessary. No other nursery does that in the area.

We love Kids Allowed. My little one went from crying at every morning at drop off, to crying every afternoon when we pick him up, in a couple of months.
Kids Allowed really takes care of us, both my little one and me! They really do make our life a little easier. The hair cut service, for example,
is really helpful.
I would like to think that my little one is developing faster since he's been in Kids Allowed. He is more independent at home, good with people (he didn't like other kids before), and like to eats various foods.
Everybody really makes us feel safe and well taken care of. They really paid extra attention to every child.
Very satisfied with Kids Allowed!

The team at KA are great, always helpful and approachable. Any problems are discussed and resolved quickly. The facilities are also excellent and the children move to new rooms with new environments and activities as they get older to keep them engaged.

I can't recommend Kids Allowed highly enough. Both of my daughters go to KA at Christie Fields, and they love it. The staff are excellent - very tuned into the needs of different children, and create specific activities based on what children are interested in. When I pick them up, my kids are normally
shattered and look like they've had a great day (covered in paint etc). There are lots of trips, and in pre-school the additional activities like forest school, ski school, and bike school are really welcome.
It's great for me to know that when I drop them off, they're going to have a brilliant day, and be really well looked after. I'm also really pleased to see their development in terms of confidence, language etc, which I know is in no small part due to what they do at Kids Allowed. I also really like the flexibility you get so that you can change days, book extra days if needed.
No downsides, just a brilliant nursery.

My son has attended KA since he was 11 months, so for 12 months now. He has absolutely thrived since being there, he absolutely loves it!
I was nervous about starting back at work but his transition to starting at nursery was made so easy by the girls as KA, they helped him settle so well. From day
1 he's loved going and it's only getting better and better for him.
The food is fantastic, most days he eats better than I do! The activities they do are fab and the free access to the garden all day means he gets to enjoy the fresh air for a vast majority if the day- every day.
He's even been on trips to Knowsley safari park, bliss for a toddler!!
Best of all is the staff. The girls (and blokes) that work there are awesome, no other word for it.

Brilliant nursery. My son loves going. The staff are always so helpful and kind. I know I can drop my son off and he'll be well looked after and safe. My daughter has been at his nursery since 6 months of age. She has come on leaps and bounds since she started. Her key worker and all her team are incredible with her. I would highly recommend this nursery to anybody.

Excellent nursery with super care and attention for the children. They are very proactive with working parents to get the most out of the children. As a working mum I love the little extras like tea on the way out and dry cleaning drop off. The children are regularly going out even from being babies
to teach them about their surroundings. My boy used to only go one day a week and you could see the difference straight away. Cannot fault, excellent nursery.

My son has been attending KA since he was 12 months old, firstly at the another centre and then transferring to Christie Fields four months later (as this is closer to my workplace). I cannot be recommend the nursery enough, it has a fantastic learning environment, wonderful personable, hard working
staff and clear operating procedures that provide not only a caring place for my son to thrive but also somewhere my son LOVES to go every day. 5*

Our Nursery Manager Rebecca has over 17 years’ experience working with children and families, in a variety of settings from state schools to private nurseries and SEN schools. Alongside her Early Years Professional status, Rebecca holds a Diploma in Childcare and a BA Hons in Primary Education.
